Engage slow Sendout?
I noticed after the recent release that Eloqua Engage takes a long time to send an email. For example, test - I sent an email to myself through to commit and it took up to 2 hours before I received it in my Inbox.
Everyone knows the same problem?

This is NOT necessary on Mac OS x.
Antivirus software is NOT necessary if you are running Mac runs only OS x Antivirus apps interfering with the normal functioning and operation of a Mac because they program too many controls (program extensions) into the main OS X system software impacting negatively / hinder overall performance of a Mac.
Here are some of my pieces of advice on how to avoid viruses in the future, if you encounter a virus, once again.
Anti-virus solutions can slow down your Mac, but to be honest, the best app anit-virus is you, the user, and your brain.Do not visit questionable sites or Web site, you do not know.
Do not use Torrents or engage in "Torrenting".
Do not install pirated software or software downloaded from unknown or questionable websites or sources of untrutsted.
Java is still a problem of vulnerability, if you don't need it, don't use it.
Use a browser filter and pop-up Blocker
Do not open not attached to the e-mail addresses that you do not recognize.
Install the security updates as soon as they are available
Find out more about what threats are common and active.
Indeed, use your own brain as the anti-virus filter.
Follow that advice and in MOST cases, you will be fine and don't risk your Mac to the potential of Trojans, malware or viruses.If you need some basic antivirus protection which will be invasive on the Mac OS X system, buy and install

MacBook pro 2011 very slow to load anything, download applications, installation of El Capitan...
I am a computer scientist, to work on a Macbook Pro 9.2 A1286 2010 client; I found first of all that it would not recognize the HD. Then, of course, first a PRAM reset.
Still no hard drive. So I ran Apple Hardware Diags, he finds that everything was fine... but he did not check the drive, because he did not either.
So I swapped the HD for the nine existing. Still no joy. Then, I tried the optical drive SATA port using a trolley car, and it worked.
So, now I think to myself, I just need to replace the original HDD SATA cable.
But in the meantime, I now use this optical drive SATA port to install an operating system.
So I'm intstalling El Capitan... and he's going VERY slowly... said 27 minutes left, then after even 30 minutes, it says 26 remaining minutes... even for every minute of time estimated to the left. Hours trying to install what should move a lot more quickly. Two SATA ports run at the same speed, so that wouldn't make any difference.
I have about 20 + Mbps download speed, and I d/l El Cap several times before on this same bandwidth and it goes as one might expect.
Also, I noticed in trying to engage around all preparation of the installation, everything seemed to be in slow motion, with a lot of time-outs of spinning, before of the OS responds... even trying just to get the pop down menu, etc. It is a system with no operating system, just off the coast of the temp install DVD or USB operating system installed.
The summary is that something in the firmware seems to be wrong. I find that there is a SMC and EFI up-to-date, but who can not install without the latest OS, so the attempt to d/l El CAP.
I'm looking for light bulbs go out there as to what might slow down this computer that doesn't even have a hard drive running an OS yet?

Slow... Right out of the box - HP ENVY 15t, w7 pro

I've had this laptop since end of August 2014. He soon right out of the box. Technical support has been of little help and suggested that I needed a HP service called Smart Friends. At a cost that is an option I did not wish to engage with a laptop that was only 3 weeks at the time. I called tech support twice on this slow condition, they escape to the frustrating and boring.
I created an operating system/repair disk and restore as one point of my first orders of operations by getting this laptop. Those who have not helped. The purpose of this laptop is strictly for use when travelling to which I've not yet done. I guess I could have a total of 5-6 hours of use on this computer. My HP desktop computer is my main computer.
For example, in MS config I have which where only 3 vital elements are checked and it still takes 75 to 80 seconds of power to display the windows desktop. It takes 40 seconds to load control panel if you click on it, I get the blue wheel. I created a unique 26KO word doc. When I click to open, I get the blue wheel that is opening the document. It is simply not true. I spent more time troubleshooting this new laptop to use it for its intended purpose.
I thought about safe mode or a clean boot. I don't have to. I did a system restore and a clean install once already.
Schedules:
-Microsoft Security Essentials
-Office 2010 about 6 weeks after taking possession.
-Malware Bytes
Again, it was slow, until I loaded one of these three programs on this laptop.
It's with or without being connected to the internet.
I need an original system disk if all the one I created is just a mirror of what can happen?

I have the same problem, this product is incredibly slow. The specification says that the memory is expandable up to 16 GB

However, I can't find anywhere on the net THAT sells the memory and HOW to install it. Not even the user manual for the HP all-in-one 18-5110 has instructions on installing additional memory.

I can't locate a guide which will guide you in the process of replacing your system memory so that I've created in this post for you. Please just follow the instructions I provided (with photos) to replace your RAM.
Removal of system memory
Before you start: Remove the rear cover and the motherboard EMI shielding.
Gently pull the fastening lever on each side of the SO-DIMM memory module. The module will pop up in its socket on the motherboard.
Remove the module from the plug.
Replacement of system memory
There is a small notch on one side of each memory SO-DIMM module that aligns with a small tab to each SO-DIMM socket on the motherboard.
To replace a module of memory SO-DIMM, angle of the module about 30 degrees, engaging the notch in its socket tab.
Push the module in place until the levers of fixing snap into position above the sides of the module.
By using the information in my previous post, you should be able to find the necessary memory (RAM) and using this Guild, you should be able to install it.

Convert a VM VM, it's so slow...
Hi, I'm trying a migration of a vCenter 4.1 VM from a host to another host ESX 4.1 4.1 ESXI, with no shared storage, only local SATA drives.
After reading in the forum, some mentioned the use of converter, by first stopping the VM vCenter then using converter for the other ESXi host (they are in the same data center).
However, there are several problems with this.
1. the virtual machine is extremely slow, both start-up and performance of GUI, if I connect the virtual machine console, even if it is said that the driver for the graph adepter is actually the pilot of VMWare. Put it back in place, has not helped.
2. the network card is converted into an E1000 nic, instead of keeping the old nic VMNET3, and parameters are turned back to DHCP instead of static IP address. How is it? I guess I could solve this problem by removing the network card and adding a new, but not of Converter takes the same parameters?
3. I also wonder if it is related to the structure of the disc. The virtual machine it itself has 2 partitions, 1 40 GB and 100 GB, both are thin provisioned. In the converter, it presents by default to make thick disks and to change the size of 4 KB cluster for two partitions, is it really important? I mean, since the virtual machine is on an ESXI 4.1 with only a DAS storage host and he goes to another host ESX4.1 with identical hardware.
Or other means are to move the VM vCenter to host 2, if I can do a few updates time necessary to host 1?

Follow these high-level steps to move a virtual machine to a different location:- Select the virtual machine.
- Engage all snapshots on the virtual machine. For more information, see validation of snapshots in the Service (1006847) Console.
- Identify the working directory of the virtual machine.
- Identify the location of all the virtual disks.
- Power off the virtual machine.
- Create a folder for the copy of the virtual machine.
- Copy the configuration of virtual machine (.vmx) file to the new folder.
- Copy the virtual disks to the new folder. For more information, see move or copy of the virtual disks in a VMware environment (900).
- Registry of the virtual machine.
- Add copies of virtual disk for the copy of the virtual machine.
- Upgrade the hardware virtual if necessary.
- Turn on the virtual machine.
- Test the new virtual machine.
- You can also delete the original files of the virtual machine.
To move the VMDK more quickly, you can use fastscp. It's a freeware and designed especially for the bulk copy VMs across VMware ESX environment.

Crashing apps and the slow performance since the installation of macOS Sierra

Im a user of long date Mac but displays the first time that I was pretty happy with everything that on my macbook pro for the past years... until I installed Sierra a day ago.

Slow mail. 9.3: if I remove large attachments in emails that will make e-mail faster turnaround? I have around 100 emails in email with attachments to file 15 MB image on average software.

10 do iPad iOS 2 Air running slow
After the upgrade to iOS 10, I noticed my iPad 2 Air starts to run slowly. I mean by "slowly" as slow as my old iPad Mini 2 ran on iOS 9. It is a huge problem, and I'd rather not buy a new iPad. Any ideas?

Thank you for using communities Support from Apple. Sorry to hear you're having this problem with your iPad 2 Air. I'm kinda not clear about the exact nature of the slowness you describe (what specific aspects are slow, what is compatible or intermittent, etc.), but if it's pretty repetitive, you can try to stop all currently open applications, restart your iPad, then test for the slow pace. You can also see if applications consume an amount unusual or unexpected autonomy. Applications that do are often "stuck" in the background, consuming the CPU power (and thus battery), which can lead to slow overall system. This article may also be useful:

Slow movement of the icons of file
I just upgraded to Sierra and discovered that move file icons became very slow. Whether on the desktop or in a window, I can choose an icon of file instantly, but if I try to move, even a small distance, there is a long pause, and I often get the beach ball, until the icon jumps in position. In this case if I move the couple icon of millimeters right through the window.
The same thing happens if I move a file between windows. There is a long delay, then a 'Preparing [location] move' dialog box is displayed with a process bar. Another long pause, then a quick movement of the bar and the icon jumps to the new location. Even with a copy operation. Moving to and from the trash by clicking and dragging is also slow. File used for the test was 8 k on disk, 699 bytes of content, is not large files. Movement of file in the trash by command + delete soon also. Open the file information dialog box has been the normal speed.
I also started having very slow save as... dialog box speeds, slow opening and then slow to fill. The beach ball appeared regularly.
Any ideas?

Thank you for using communities Support from Apple. I see your message that you met some slowness during the management of files on your MacBook Pro, since you upgraded to macOS Sierra. I know that personally, I want to be able to move, copy, and back up things quickly, without a lot of spinning Rainbow cursor to run, so I can see why you've posted. I'd be happy to help you.
When my MacBook behaving this way, I found a System Management Controller (SMC) reset helped. If you are not familiar with how to do this reset, see the following link:
Reset the management system (SCM) controller on your Mac.If you always see the same behavior after this reset, then start in safe mode can tell you if a program or process could be the cause of the delay. Follow the instructions here and test your functions copy/move while that started in safe mode: macOS Sierra: start in safe mode
If your MacBook Pro works fine in safe mode, reboot normally and check to see if the problem has been resolved.

I have the same problem on two different computers. A new installation (of Sierra of MacOS) (with costs users, no restored settings, preferences, etc.) fixed, but not the other. (Past the wire: all Web apps suddenly slow; fan high speed).
On the computer that still does not, have the following processes often rampant and prevents the computer access to the servers to load pages, apps, etc..

very slow Powerbook fine, iMacs
My family uses 2 iMacs (1 2013, 1 earlier) and an Apple Powerbook at home. 2 iMac is incredibly slow, but the speed of the Powerbook is fine. IMacs both have a lot of unused storage and memory and I completely restored two iMacs and deleted unnecessary files, but they are very slow. I have everything back up on Dropbox and wonder now if the slowness is something to do with the combination of the signal at high speed and by using several connections of Dropbox in the House. We have a Virgin Media Hub Super 2ac with advertised broadband router of up to 150 Mbps. I made a speed control using www.speedtest.com and the download speed is 105.81 Mbps and download speed is 9.70 Mbps. Any ideas anyone?

"Workflow" for Slow Motion DSLR
Hi, I've been experimenting with the creation of idle smoothly in a calendar of 1080/25 and questioned on the best workflow. (I used a Canon 70 d, stipulating that 50 frames per second at 720)
So: Chronology 1080/25 Pro Res FCP7 (majority of the 1080/25 source footage)
I want to add a short section of idle and for that I shot in 720/50 - but of course it is made at 25 frames per second when added to the timeline and playback is stuttering when 50% of the speed value.
So I sent the clip (at 50%) to 4 Motion and applied optical flow - this provided a smoother playback
(I tried to optical flow on a clip of 1080/25 to 50% but reading stuttered slightly)
I just wanted to confirm if it is the best workflow for idling smoothly. Also when I tried to apply the optic flow on a second Motion 4 already 'optic flow"selected clip, but when I clicked on that nothing happened - I had to close out Motion and start over with the clip under a new name.
