  We are developing an erp with full stack ADF system. Now have a serious discussion on whether to use datasource or jdbc URLs. We know that data sources are managed by the application server, but jdbc URL are directly connects to the database. is there a drawback by using the jdbc url, whereas ADF BC? jdbc url would be much simpler for our need. Otherwise, we need to create the new source of data on the fly to the container (my previous question).

  The answer to

  (1) Yes, am grouping will work and no you do not have loos next to abstraction and configuration functionality. ADF works on JDBC URL.

  2) Yes, if you have enough memory installed that should work, however I have never used over 10 data sources. Oh, and you should test the startup time. AFAIK the server tests each data source initially to the top of the server.

  You can change the pref browser.newtab.url on the on: config page and reset the default value pref: newtab or set a different page as the subject: blank page.

• _V tables in the portal database

  Does anyone know what function tables _v in the portal database are?  I was research on weblogic portal preferences and connected to the portal pointbase database.  I saw the following tables:

You want to store your images and CSS in the database where it won't delete whenever you regenerate PIA (Tools fixes and upgrades)?   Image1 reports directly on the producer. But none of these images go directly on to the consumer.
  
  Of course, this looks more like encoding problem. In particular, the section "oracle: mutal."

  The only thing I can see wrong with the URL probably still after you change models, is that the URL of the image on the producer is also simply stated ' / id_ico_normal.jpg '-there is no context path / webapp on the URL path. Are always explicitly including the path of the context during the generation of the URL?

  In the generated URL, the path of the resource on the producer is everything after the "/ u_" and before the "/ rr_"-If you can get that to be the correct relative path on the producer, I bet it will work. If the image of the full path to the producer is really "/ id_ico_normal.jpg" then I don't see what else could be wrong at the moment.

  Try to do a "CTRL + click in the header of Firefox in the open space next to a label. This should bring up a contextual menu. There just enable the toolbar and the Navigation toolbar bookmarks and you should be set. Knowledge Base article lack the Navigation buttons such as back, home, bookmarks and reload has more information.
