  The Vista installation disc is a DVD. Apparently, you don't have a DVD player. You would need to purchase/install a DVD-ROM or DVD - RW to install Vista. Are you sure that your hardware supports Vista before doing this?

  For INSTEAD OF INSERT triggers work on points of view, there are some restrictions:

  The view does not contain any of the following constructions:

  • A game operator
  • A SEPARATE operator
  • An aggregate function or Analytics
  • A clause GROUP BY, ORDER BY, MODEL, CONNECT OR START WITH
  • An expression of the collection in a SELECT list
  • A subquery in a SELECT list
  • A subquery designated WITH READ ONLY
  • Joins, with a few exceptions, as described in the Oracle database administrator's Guide

  If you look at the definition of FND_USER_RESP_GROUPS_DIRECT in EBS, the view contains the DISTINCT operator, so it won't work.

  My computer is set to the automatic update in Windows 7 Home Premium and Microsoft Office Professional Plus 2010. I am also running Norton 360. There was a major update for the office on 10-12-14, which seems to be at the start of my problems. This month, whenever my updates caused a restart, Mozilla has failed to open.
