  The Flash Asset Options xtra is for design view only.  There is no need to be in a projector, so you should be able to simply remove and have no other problems.  Of course, this assumes the rest of the work program.

  There is an option in preferences CC which disables the launch at startup. Go to the CC icon to appear in the window, and then click the icon for ESM. Now select the preferences... command.

  I use a PC running XP for my family tree research and wouldn't buy a laptop to facilitate this, but the software I use--Family Tree Maker 2006 - doesn't have a patch of windows 7 and Family Tree Maker say they have no intention to create one, too much work for them apparently.  I bought and tried the new FTM versions that work on Windows 7, but doesn't like them.  Can I buy a Windows 7 laptop and 'swap' of Windows 7 for XP? Do I have other options?  Do I have to buy a second-hand XP laptop?  I also use a scanner LIDE60 cannon that seems not to have an upgrade to Windows 7. Any advice would be great.
