  Not as good as s, what happened with your laptop, but you could try to remove the battery and the AC adapter, wait an hour and then reconnect the battery and the AC adapter and try it.

  First of all, you must back up all data on the HARD drive. If the disk HARD still turns upward it sounds like this it becomes defective and must be replaced don t store on important data

  You can get a new HDD to a service provider authorized or an another computer store. As much as I now you need a HARD drive with SATA interface.

  Strange problems begin to occur over the weekend.

  I agree with Alex. Operating system must be corrupted and best thing you can do is to clean OS installation and make sure that everything will be OK again.

  Back up all important data and install Vista using livery Toshiba CD/DVD installations.

  I have a Satellite A215 with what looks like a major problem.

  When I plug in the adapter I get 2 combination of LED on the front to come-
  Sometimes the area of ejection blue light twice then nothing
  Sometimes the sector and the battery light will Flash once then turn on flashes once and then nothing
  sometimes no LED light up at all.

  If the AC adapter is not plugged in about 5 minutes the blue power LED will be finally turns on and stays on.
  Computer laptop don't post, the power button has no effect.

  I tried to remove the battery, ram, HDD, modem and WiFi card so far.

  Anyone have any ideas?

  You mean you can't turn on the laptop?
  Nor with the power or the battery using the AC adapter?

  Well, this seems odd and possibly there is something wrong with the electronic power on the mobo but it's only my personal opinion.

  You should try a workaround; remove the battery, disconnect the adapter.
  Then wait about 30 to 60 minutes and reconnect the two part.
  Try to turn on the laptop and test if the laptop would pass the POST correctly.

  If nothing will happen then a serious hardware failure could be possible and I think that in this case only the ASP can be useful.

  Thanks to the support here, I ran a check on the HARD drive and it came right back.

  My drive turns LOTS and computer is slow. At the beginning of February and today I got the blue screen and memory dump. Windows tried to fix itself, but could not. Only way to recover was with a system restore.

  Can someone read the .dmp file to give me assistance or other recommendations?

  My Satellite A215-S7444 CPU fan stopped working which causes my CPU become very hot.

  After 5 minutes of idle my laptop turns off which makes it almost useless to my laptop.
  After reading a few forums, I decided to disassemble my laptop to check that there is no dust or debris obstructing the fan.
  However, I got so far as to take off the keyboard because I didn't know how to take off the high black/silver (please link to image).

  You could try to repair your Vista using the own Vistas called Startup Repair options
  Press and hold the F8 key as your Satellite restarts.

  Creator of disc of Acronis does not for me but I know for sure that you can split the capacity of the HARD drive into two partitions with rendering recovery DVDs. Start your laptop with recovery DVDs and check the option to install it.

  You must have a mobile US model. I am from Europe and I don't know about you how it works with the recovery media in the United States, but it should be similar to the European and because of that it must be an option to divide the capacity of the HARD disk with two partitions.

  To be honest ConfigFree is one of the best designed Toshiba Utilities and it works very stabile. I really don't understand what you've done. Remove it from the system and install again.
