    Hello

    1. what web browser do you use?

    2. If you are using Internet Explorer, version of Internet Explorer is installed on the computer?

    Method 1:

Run the System File Checker and check if the problem still persists. To do this, please click on the link below:

    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/310747

If you are prompted to insert the disc to scan SFC, please visit the link below:

    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/900910

    Method 2:

This issue could also be caused by a Virus/Malware infection on the system, I would say that you download and run a full scan of the system using the Microsoft Safety Scanner and check if that helps resolve the issue.

    Microsoft safety scanner

    http://www.Microsoft.com/security/scanner/en-us/default.aspx

    Note:

The data files that are infected must be cleaned only by removing the file completely, which means that there is a risk of data loss.

    Method 3:

    New user account

Create a new user account and see if the problem still occurs in the new user account.

  • ORA-04031 then that he was trying to import the schema to XE

Hello. I have Linux Amazon 'micro instance' EC2 (Yes, virtual machine) which has 613 MB of memory. I installed Oracle XE 11.2.0.2 and now try to import the schema of 11.2 oracle server standard edition:
Impdp system/pwd dumpfile = mydump schema myschema =

But I got the following error:
    ...
    Object type SCHEMA_EXPORT/TABLE/TABLE processing
    Processing object type SCHEMA_EXPORT/TABLE/TABLE_DATA
UDI-04031: operation has generated ORACLE 4031 error
    ORA-04031: unable to allocate 32 bytes of memory ('pool', ' SELECT job_id FROM v$ datapum... ") (', 'SQLA","tmp") shared

Is - this 613 MB of RAM enough for execution of XE? Here is the output of the memory:

    SQL > show sga

Total System Global Area 250523648 bytes
    Bytes of size 2225472 fixed
    239078080 variable size bytes
    4194304 buffers of data bytes
    Redo buffers 5025792 bytes
613 MB of RAM enough for execution of XE?

The minimum recommended is 512 MB, so in theory it should be enough.

Total System Global Area 250523648 bytes

Which is less than 250 MB. With most of the facilities of Oracle, GR 11, 2, I'd rather have at least 512 MB for the SGA. But we must leave some room for the OS and PGA are an allowance separate memory for the instance as well. Are likely to shrink the PGA and give a little more room to SGA_TARGET or MEMORY_TARGET, depends on what has been tweeked, and which is still in the default settings.

Take a look at the default value of the boot settings, in your alert log, find the last start, the lines between the "parameters of the system with default values:" and maybe a date stamp then, stick it in you, we could can help with suggestions to try.

I downloaded and I try to install the update of security Microsoft .NET Framework 1.1 Service Pack 1 for Windows 2000, Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows Server 2008, Windows 7 and Windows Server 2008 R2 (KB953297)

I get an error message 'Code 2' whenever I try to install it.

I tried to re - download, and I tried to restart my computer.  I keep getting the same message.

    Help?

    Hi Abqblue,

Welcome to the Microsoft Answers site!

To successfully install the update, uninstall all versions of the .NET Framework on the computer, and then reinstall all the versions of the .NET Framework on the computer.

You may need to work through more than one of the following methods.

Method 1: Manually remove and reinstall .NET Framework

To remove and reinstall .NET Framework manually, follow these steps:

    1. remove the .NET Framework.

    a. click Startand then click Control Panel.

    b. double-click Add or remove programs.

    c. Note each version of the .NET Framework is already installed on the computer. Then, uninstall all versions of the .NET Framework.

    d. When prompted, restart the computer

Method 2: You can also run a cleaning tool Windows utility to uninstall. Go to the link given below to know how to use a Windows Cleanup Utility tool.

    http://support.Microsoft.com/default.aspx/kb/290301

Method3: The .NET Framework cleanup tool removes the .NET Framework for you. For more information about how to obtain and use this tool, visit the following MSDN Web site:

Access the link below to find more information about the steps mentioned above and for the links manually install the .NET Framework

    KonfusedKathy,
I suggest that you do the following:
Start by putting your system in a clean boot State.
    Run the disk error checking
    Run System File Checker
    Run the System Update tool
If there are not only found problems that couldn't be fixed by one of them and then try to reinstall SP1.

    Post back with the results.

He said I would need to have access to the USB or disc, but I have no then recommends talking manufacturer. However, are there any other ideas to rectify this.

    Hello

We need more information to help you, please answer the following question.

What is the brand and model of the computer?

Error code: 0 xC0000001 indicates that there could be some problems with the boot device or startup files are corrupt. Most of the new machines come with a recovery partition, allowing you to return your purchase, you will need to check your user guides (or the manufacturer's Web Site) for instructions. Choose this path requires you to save all the data first. The OEM must be able to provide a recovery CD to you at time of purchase.

If you do not have a disk to install/repair of Windows 8/8.1, then I suggest you first create a Windows 8/8.1 installation media. Check out these links:

    Create a recovery USB disk.

Note: Apps that you have installed Web sites and DVD is deleted. The applications provided with your PC and applications that you have installed in the Windows store will be resettled. Windows puts a list of apps removed on your desktop after you refresh your PC.
