Error-1074118625 with the PXI-4071 and PXI-2527
When you use the LabVIEW and PXI-4071 PXI-2527 IVI drivers, I get a 1074118625 error in TestStand. The sequence that initializes the MUX, init DMM, connects the MUX, expected debounce, and then to the DMM reading, I get this error.
Error: niDMM .viExplanation of waveform (waveform data) reading is not found for the requested status code.
Check that the required status code is correct.
[Error code: error code defined by the user of 1074118625.]
This sequence of events is used successfully several times elsewhere in the TestStand. This error does not appear in any section of the knowledge base, or any help. Any explanation would be greatly appreciated.

I'm trying to generate a signal CW of pulse modulated with the PXI-5650 as source RF and the PXI-6653 as the modulation signal. Basically, I'm trying to generate a simple radar waveform. Reading your post, it seems you want to use your calendar and map of synchronization to the RF output power, in other words, on Off Keying. OOK modulation is a feature built into the 5650. For more information, you can navigate through the NI RF Signal generators Help for devices-RF signal generators > NOR -> NOR 5650/5651/5652 overview-> Modes of Modulation and simply click on the Modulation Modes.
An example of this is found in the example Finder OR by navigating to the help-> find the examples in LabVIEW and then navigate in the Finder to example NOR material input and output-> Modular Instruments-> NI - RFSG-> signals-> RFSG 565 x Digital Modulation.vi.

It will work for you.
The on-board buffer 2047-sample is used only as a backup if the flow of data to the PC host (via MXI Express in this case) is not fast enough... that it will be (explained below). DAQmx transfers data from the buffer of the device to the host PC as fast as he can and, in ideal conditions, should not save the buffer 2047 much at all.
Let's just say you get 110 MB/s (randomly from a MXI data sheet) flow on your MXI connection. The 4461 has 2 analog inputs, which will be at 24 bits, we just round 32-bit in case it transfers the data in this way.
4 bytes/sample (32 bit) x 200,000 s/s x 2 (channels) = 1.6 MB/s, which is well below the 110 MB/s, which will make the MXI link.

Equium L10: Problem with the main battery and battery RTC

I have the Toshiba Equium L10 and it is about 14 months old and I have problems with the battery and how much time it takes after a full charge. I also have problems with the RTC battery and an ERROR 0271: check date and time settings message when I turn on the laptop.
Regarding the battery, I can fully charge it upward in about 3 hours, but when I start to use it, apparently in the last few hours around one and a half or so and then it needs to be recharged. I can have down for about 40 minutes and then turn it off and come back later or in a day or two. How long should I expect from a fully charged battery?
About the batttery RTC, it really becomes a pain and I only started to get the message of the ERROR 0271 start-up, in recent weeks. I can charge the battery pack and then leave for a few days, but when I turn it on, I get the message ERROR 0271 on the date and time incorrect. Surely after a full charge, the RTC battery should last longer than a few days?
The manual says that if the RTC battery is exhausted or becomes weak, you must charge the battery of the CCF for 24 hours, in a different part of this manual indicates between 24 and 48 hours, but how can load you for long when the sections concerning the charging battery pack status after charging the battery you unplug the power adapter because leaving connected will shorten the life expectancy of the Battery Pack. So, how we can charge the battery of the CCF for 24 to 48 hours if we shouldn't leave the AC adapter plugged in once the battery is charged - which is nearly three hours. Suggestions about these problems would be appreciated.

The normal recommendation for the CMOS (RTC) battery is to leave the laptop connected to the power supply at least 12 hours when the main battery is fully charged. The charging circuit is going to hijack the current to the load automatically RTC battery and no current will be forwarded to your main battery.
Recommendation do not leave the power adapter is plugged in the main battery is fully charged is really only applicable to older laptops that used no batteries Li - ion and therefore they had to be completely discharged before recharging to avoid any effect 'memory' of the battery.
With modern Li-ion batteries, it is quite safe to leave the battery when fully charged and still power the laptop from the AC adapter. The charging circuit will pass all the battery charge if it is fully charged.

4B. right click on the file that you saved in # 4 has & select EXTRACT ALL. This will create a new folder in Office also appointed ie8 - rereg.all. The folder contains both scripts below (plus a third that will NOT be).

5. close all open applications (that is, anything with an icon on the task bar), open the folder created in step # 4 b above & double-click on the file named ie8 - rereg.32on64.cmd to run the script.
5 b. Repeat this for the file named ie8 - rereg.64on64.cmd then restart.
6. reset Internet Explorer by the MANUAL of instructions on this page-online http://support.microsoft.com/kb/923737

7 run the Windows Update Troubleshooter from start to finish by the first paragraph on this page-online http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-8/troubleshoot-problems-installing-updates [2]
8. restart once more then test by launching a manual check of updates & see if KB2887069 any/all others updated and allows to install now. Follow all the instructions.
9. assuming all went well, see if Windows 8.1 is available through the store Windows and, if so, if it will be properly installed. Still, follow all the instructions.
