Error 1334, then error 1603 when installing Cyberlink PowerDVD 10 Ultra retail on Vista
I was a user of PowerDVD since version 7 (downloaded from Cyberlink) and have had no problems so far. My system is fully compatible with the software and the computer has the hardware to run it.
All directions, I tried to install version Cyberlink PowerDVD Ultra 10 (upgrade and full retail) downloaded from Cyberlink. Course through the installation, error 1334:
PowerDVD error - error 1334. Cannot install the file '77359ecad6fd40269b54f9553c491493' because the file is not found in the file 'Data1.cab '. It could indicate a network error, an error reading from the CD-Rom, or a problem with this package.
Then I click OK and get error 1603:
Feature transfer error - error: 1603 Fatal error during installation. Consult the help of Windows Installer (msi.chm) or MSDN for more information.
I have cleaned my registry, uninstalled all other Cyberlink products I've used and everything else I can think. Customer support told me to redownload and I do, but the same guard that occur. Now, I can't yet to reinstall my old versions.
I'm desperate to watch my DVDs on my computer. Any ideas or suggestions?

Re-download/save to your desktop > right click on its Setup.exeo run as admin.

Error 1603 when installing Adobe CS4 on Vista 64
I'm trying to install Adobe CS4 on Vista 64 and it fails to install with error 1603. I went on the website of Adobe, and they said that the problem is a color profile file named "sRGB Color Space Profile.icm" claiming Adobe is locked, it cannot be changed. Adobe has suggested that I use a "Unlocker" utility found on a 3rd party Web site, but McAfee is down this dangerous site. So second suggestion of Adobe is to search on Microsoft a way to unlock this file. I searched, I have not found anything that could unlock a file in Vista. So, does anyone know how to unlock a file on Vista 64? Does anyone know how to get around this installation problem? Does anyone know how do I know what program has a locked file so that I can stop it? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
I managed to solve this problem by following these steps:
(1) open the control panel in Vista.
(2) select the icon for color management.
3) go to the Advanced tab
(4) in my computer, using the device profile "sRGB IEC61966 - 2.1" which corresponds to the "sRGB Color Space Profile.icm" file
I changed this setting to use "sRGB virtual device model profile" instead of "sRGB IEC61966 - 2.1".» (I don't know if ' profile of device model virtual sRGB "is available on the computer for everyone, but I don't think it's so important as long as it's not" sRGB IEC61966 - 2.1 "").(5) I have my case the "sRGB IEC61966 - 2.1" was also used as the default value for the system, so at the bottom of the window is a button says "Change default system" click on it.
(6) then click on continue (you need to continue administrative privilege).
(7) make the same changes as above for the device profile in this new window.
(8) close these panels with the changes.
(9) install Adobe CS4 (Yeh!).
(10) after that, I went back the color management and set the default initial profile bot and system to "sRGB IEC61966 - 2.1.
At least it does the job for me. I don't know how this will work for others.I hope this helps, I lost a week of messing around with this thing.

FATA Error 1603 when installing X 5 on XP with Word 2003 machine
I try to install RoboHelp X 5 on a Dell XP with Office 2003 is installed. I have an older installation CD, with only Word XP, Woord 2000 and Word 97 selections. I tried both Word XP and Word 2000. I selected just of RoboHelp Office, I tried with just RoboHelp Office and RoboHelp Control Client, and I have tried with two more 1-Step PDF. I understand the same 2 errors each time.
First of all, I get an Error 1324: the path Português? s (Portugal) contains an invalid character.
I'm OK there.
Then I get a transfer function error, error 1603: a fatal error during installation. Consult the help of Windows Installer (msi.chm) or MSDN for more information.
Needless to say, I can't find nothing pretty accurate on the MSDN site to help me understand what to do next.

When you look at the error message, it doesn't look like you need to update your drivers. You will need to go on the official website of manufacturers, with your EPSON.

Guy srslly? Just go open Regedit.
Hold the windows key + R, then type regedit
then goto HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE > SOFTWARE >
and right clikc on Karl and then delete.
Delete registry filed files and then reinstall kkkkk. :), hope it works. -
Error 1722 when installing FSX windows8
I tried to get FSX installed on my windows. I had installed it once and it worked but I had a hard disk problem and did a reset of programs and windows files 8.
When you try to reinstall FSX it came at the end of this error 1722 and then cancels the installation and come up with another error to halfway, while rolling back and now I can't get install.
