  I am trying to create a file path with folders named to some information related to my program such as serial number and order number. ex: c:\calib\LX2345\123456. my code works and the program generates the path that I want to, but if the path or folder already exists, it gives error of duplicate path. I want that in these situations the program ignores the creation of records and use the same path and overwrite the file saved PDM.

  I am trying to create a shared variable with a data type of a 2d double table. I created a custom control that contains a table with a numeric type for this 2d. Manager of distributed system v12 I select 'add a variable', then select 'of the custom control. Once select my control I get the following error: "invalid data type. You want to choose a different data type. Any advice as to why it doesn't work? Thank you.

  This seems to be recorded in the CAR #405941.  All this is a bit strange, but I'll try better possible workaround solutions I can.  I tested a large number of these myself, and here is what I found.

  1. make sure that the custom control you did was created in 2012 of LabVIEW or you save it in an earlier version.  If you save on an earlier version, you may also open the .ctl in LabVIEW 2012 and resave it (I needed to do).  I tried to create my own control in 2012, as well as save the control to a previous version, the two worked, but I don't end up with the same result (I don't understand this, but I wanted to mention it so that you know).

  2. it seems that you are able to make the variable shared by program by modifying the example of the community to adapt to your needs.  If you do not need to create many variables it may be the best option if it works for you.

  I would also try adding the variable of the LabVIEW project, you are working on that.  It wasn't a direct troubleshooting step but there are several ways of doing things in LabVIEW and, sometimes, one of them is working while the other does not.

  The data cluster error type may not contain the actual description of an error.  When an error is generated, only the cluster of error data will be the error code, status and source.  The source must contain the path calling of the VI that generated the error, not the description of the error.  It is recommended to use the VI Simple or General Error Handler to programmatically display the short description of the error.  If you want to interactively view the description you can right-click on a cluster of error control or indicator and select 'explain the error.

  Error code 0 x 80070005 usually indicates that you don't have enough privileges or the operation is blocked. I know, some programs (Boot Camp on a Mac PC, etc.) is not compatible with Windows 7, if you have installed these programs on the computer, you may not be able to perform the upgrade. You should uninstall these programs before upgrading.   Right-click on the documents folder in your main menu.

  Click Properties at the bottom of the menu.

  Click on "restore default settings".

  This fixed the problem for me and the Documents folder now works correctly.

  Computer-> right click the disk partition hard-> click Properties-> go to tab tools-> click on the "check now" button to check your hard disk for errors.

  Mac:

  Navigate to Library/Application Support/Adobe/OOBE and rename to OOBE.old.

  Go to Applications/Utilities and trash Application Manager and creative cloud desktop folder.

  Use please TDK or Verbatim DVD-R media and I think everything will work OK.

  Go to start / all programs / accessories / command prompt, right click command prompt and click Run as administrator (you can just click on the command prompt if you are using XP).

  While in the command prompt, type chkdsk /f /r and enter and let it run.  They tried to set itself to run at the next reboot.   Answer Yes and restart to run the program.  It will scan and attempt to resolve any corruption or bad sectors on your hard drive and remove especially as a potential cause.  It is often the cause of this error message.

  If this doesn't solve the problem, or you can not complete the chkdsk program, then we'll do a more complete test of your hard drive:

  To test your hard drive, check the manufacturer and try to diagnosis HD (http://www.carrona.org/hddiag.html) or this test: Hard Drive Diagnostics tools and utilities (storage) - Corp of TACKtech (http://www.tacktech.com/display.cfm?ttid=287) or get a manufacturer test utility, if they offer a.  Make at least one, but chkdsk ends, if all three to be safer.

  If that checks, try to use one of the following free products to remove the file/folder.  Unlocker to: http://www.softpedia.com/get/System/System-Miscellaneous/Unlocker.shtml or file Assassin http://www.malwarebytes.org/fileassassin.php these programs often work when the functions of removing normal do not work correctly.
