I am trying to submit a new version of my application "awakening."
I'm on "Presentation of new Release" screen and when I click on the pencil under the column "Files" icon and select my new BAR file, I get the following error:
File bundle (Alarm.bar) was rejected. Package ID is required for all .bar file. If this is an upgrade, ID of Package must match ID of Package in the bundle of original file.
Because of this error, I am unable to submit new versions of the application.
This error occurs generally if you:
n ' have not increased the number of output
-try to connect with the new signing keys

Looks like you changed the name of the application in your config.xml file, or use a computer/signature different keys.

So finally I managed to get through an upgrade after a few bit of pain here & there, I'm ready for deploymemt
I put in the point to point 10.1 and made a few versions around mid-2013, the HD on the machine where I had this fried configuration. I come back to this a few days ago and the backup of the src code proj, I also had author.p12 and the debug.bar with what I was able to add new features, to a 10.2 version and solve some problems. Tested/developed on a device with Momentics 2.1 on a Mac, so I made a trip lever, but now I'm getting yet another one of these beautiful IDPack messages, I love to hate. I saw all related IDPack positions but clearly nothing.
I had and original set of keys for BB OS and a few signature remember where these p12 generated somehow
I see on my old bar MANIFESTO version. MF the package name and the PackageID, the latter of course comes out different, but don't know why? Is there another file that I need to come into this picture? A tip? What is the problem with the token? I remember at the time you can manually cut & paste the IDPack and it would work then of course BB added something that disabled who.

When you restore the files barsigner.csk and barsigner.db, you also need to delete the file bbidtoken.csk (from the same directory). Otherwise Momentics will continue to use BlackBerry ID Token.
What do you mean Momentics don't like it? It is a failure to sign now?

I figured out that "ID of Package" is the version code you specify in the manifest file. I made sure that these were the same and it worked. Thanks for the reply...

- App version increment in the config.XML from 1.0.2 to 2.0.0
- Package using new WebWorks SDK
- Send the file as a new version , but also by release edition refused

I know that if this error occurs I sign with the wrong keys. I have 2 signature keys, but have backed them up. I chose the file correct author.p12 but it seems that the CSK (Code signing key) is wrong. He always takes the CSK of my other file author.p12 or something. How can I install the correct CSK in QNX Momentics... I'm really desperate...
I managed to get my key to signature (barsigner.csk and barsigner.db) with Recuva! So if you lost your key, download software and it will get them in 20 minutes.

I am running Windows 7 and noticed that Windows updates did not work. The parameters are defined for the update every day. When I went to update manually returned an error WindowsUpdate_80070017. MSFT site was no help. Any recommendations?
Since neither updates Jan - 10 have installed, I'm going to hand you Support MS in the hope that they can resolve the problem. See below.
That being said, is an interpretation of the 80070017 - cyclic redundancy check error "a device attached to the system does not work," which suggests that a hardware problem might be the cause of the error (although I must say that it is a very low possibility in this case).

I'm testing the integrity of the addon ".cab" packages and patches by installing using the Package Manager (pkgmgr.exe), or alternatively, the Deployment Image Servicing and Management Tool (DISM.exe) for Windows 7. To do this, I am aware that I have to call a tool through the command line.
In the Package Manager, I use the syntax
Command prompt > pkgmgr.exe /ip /m:C:\Test\test.cab
Otherwise, I might add the path in quotes:
"Command prompt > pkgmgr.exe /ip /m:"C:\Test\test.cab.
The error returned in pkgmgr is:
Operation failed with 0 x 80070002. The system cannot find the specified file.
My first impression was that my syntax is incorrect, although I can't have room for error. The path points to "test.cab" which is a renamed windows addon that contains the necessary file "svcpack" and the file "entries_XX.ini". I used several different ".cab" file, that which some I know to be genuine, hopefully exclude the possibility of a corrupted or incompatible file. I also tried this procedure on different computers and received the same error code, so I doubt that the tool pkgmgr istelf is corrupt.
Finally, I tried an alternative Windows 7/8 DISM tool to try to achieve essentially the same task by using the following syntax in a command prompt:
"Commnand prompt > DISM.exe / Online /PackagePath:"C:\Test\test.cab Add-Package ".
This produces a similar error:
An error occurred trying to open it - C:\Test\test.cab error: 0 x 80070002
Error: 2
The system cannot find the specified file.
The DISM log file can be found at C:\Windows\Logs\DISM\dism.logI'm really not sure why I produce these errors. Any idea is appreciated.
