method endCompositeOperation)
public function endCompositeOperation (): void
Ending a group of operations. Whatever operations have been conducted since the last call to beginCompositeOperation are grouped in a CompositeOperation which is then completed (i.e., added to the undo stack or if we are in a composite transaction nested, added to the parent operation).

Example of

This snippet shows how to begin, end and execute a block of operations within an EditManager.

var editManager:IEditManager = SelManager as IEditManager;
var insertPos:int = 15;
var insertText:String = "Hello There";
var insertSize:Number = 48;
editManager.beginCompositeOperation ();
SelManager.setSelection (insertPos, insertPos);
editManager.insertText (insertText);
SelManager.setSelection (insertPos, insertPos + insertText.length);
var charFormat:CharacterFormat = new CharacterFormat();
charFormat.fontSize = insertSize;
editManager.applyFormat (charFormat);
var op: FlowOperation = editManager.endCompositeOperation ();
editManager.doOperation (op);

endCompositeOperation() return void. I think that the above line should be: editManager.flushPendingOperations ();
This is for the new generation of gumbo.
Am I wrong?

Yes, you are right, this example is wrong. The API for endCompositeOperation has been changed, and the sample code was not updated. It is a bug in the documentation. endCompositeOperation now performs the operation for you; If he could just read:

var editManager:IEditManager = SelManager as IEditManager;
var insertPos:int = 15;
var insertText:String = "Hello There";
var insertSize:Number = 48;
editManager.beginCompositeOperation ();
SelManager.setSelection (insertPos, insertPos);
editManager.insertText (insertText);
SelManager.setSelection (insertPos, insertPos + insertText.length);
var charFormat:CharacterFormat = new CharacterFormat();
charFormat.fontSize = insertSize;
editManager.applyFormat (charFormat);
editManager.endCompositeOperation ();

  • ID throwing "Internal error" on the document

    I have the document which is a calendar with 12 pages 2016. I opened it to update my calendar 2017, and InDesign keeps putting in place a dialogue that says "Internal error". It provides no additional information.

    I returned and opened my 2015 calendar file and it does not cause the error.  I might have a document that is damaged, but not sure.

    Any guidance would be appreciated.

    I'm under 64-bit Windows 7, Word 2010, OP 10.4.4.21.

    The scenario is strange.  Everything has been fine until today.  Something has changed, and now I am unable to open all the OPM Word documents (or compile compile all).  When I try, the error message ' Oracle Policy Modeling could not open document, such that an error has occurred in Microsoft Word: this file was not found ".". OH - I found and fixed it.  Word has disabled the "Add-in".

    The documents are NOT saved in the way the Photomerge script looks. The problem is precisely that you "does not modify them in some way.

    You may have noticed that you get this message with files unedited guidance "portrait."

    The reason is that when shooting in "portrait" mode, the camera does not write the pixels vertically, it added a tag metadata to record the orientation of the camera. This editor browsers way and know how to display pixels. When you open, then "Save" or "Save as", the pixels are written in the right orientation and the orientation tag returns to normal. For example, any vertical jpeg created from a raw file will have been edited and 'saved '.

    I checked that the Photomerge process does not require that you open and save these vertical images in older versions (up to PSE10?).

    So, if you intend to make a panorama with vertical photos, the solution is to open and save before you begin the process.

    If you don't the have not yet made, the shortest path seems to start the process of the organiser (menu Edit > panorama).

    You select your files and use the edit mode 'fast' to change something, for example the sharpness. Who saves your files and open them directly in the photobin; they are already selected (white box around the thumbnail in the photobin). Alternatively, you can "export" files of new files in a new folder. Export can also resize your files that may be needed to avoid a result that is greater than the limit of 30 000 pixels, or a lack of RAM for large panoramas.

    How to know if a vertical photo is really 'saved '? Use the options for information about the files in the Organizer. In the metadata > given the camera, scroll down to the size of the image in pixels, the orientation is slightly less (90 or - 90 what the tag).

    If you make many panoramas in vertical mode, you can use the Organizer to save everything quickly.

    Preference, add a tag for the candidates to the panoramas.

    Then looking (in detail) to the "vertical". This will select all the vertical images, be they only tag or already registered.

    Look at the Panel on the right for the orientation data as described above.

    Of course, if you're used to the way of work of panoramas in older versions, it is a good reason to keep the old version alongside your new.

  • You cannot change the security on this document because the document is signed or certified.

    I just downloaded the trial version of Adobe Acrobat DC Pro. Now he says all my pdf files are (SECURE), but I have not (knowingly) implemented a security on the files. My goal is to edit and save the documents.

    I can fill in the forms, but when I go to save the document, an error message: "the document could not be saved. There was a problem reading this document (105). »

    When I click on edit pdf in the right-hand sidebar one another error message "this form cannot be changed in Adobe Acrobat DC.» Please use Adobe LiveCycle Designer to modify this form. »

    I don't want to download another program to have this work programme. I looked at the possible solutions on the internet, but nothing has been useful. I used Adobe Pro XI in the past and it worked fine. I was told to use it for work. I have a laptop Windows 8.

    Please advice.

    If the form has been completed in LiveCycle Designer (assuming that the message is just), LiveCycle Designer is the only application that can be used to change these forms. This isn't a security problem and not a change to DC. (However, Acrobat X and below included a bundled copy of LiveCycle Designer - is no longer).

    However, you can use Acrobat to fill OUT these forms, but not EDIT.

  • The change to the Document: not allowed

    Hello

    Anyone who can help us on our problem with files created using Acrobat 7.

    When you open the files using the latest versions of The Document Assembly and modify the Documents always marked as unauthorized , but when we open it with Acrobat 7 all parameters are allowed. tried in some Acrobat 7 computers with the same results.

    Hi, I just found this forum because I had the same problem. I finally found a solution that worked for me, so I thought I would post it here if it helps someone. I have Adobe Pro XI and was not able to edit a document that had any security settings made by Adobe 7, I kept getting the message that it has been signed. I went to tools > forms > Edit Form and I got an error saying the document was signed, but he also asked me if I wanted to save a copy, I did. Then I was able to edit the copy very well. I tried the option "save under" before this and it doesn't work, so it seems that 'save a copy' and ' save under ' are not the same. There may be another way to save a copy, but it is the solution that I ran.

    You can try saving the PDF file on your desktop before trying to open it.
    See if that helps with corruption problems.

    Please help me

    Hi kalpesh_vaghela,

    1. Did you the latest changes on the computer?
    2. What is the full error message that you receive?
    3. What is the number and model of the printer?
    4. You use any program to print the document?
    5. Are you experiencing a similar problem with any program that allows you to print?
    6. You have security software installed on the computer?

    Method 1

    See the link below and try the fixit tool available, check if it helps.

    Problems printing and printing errors

    http://support.Microsoft.com/mats/printing_problems/

    Method 2

    If the previous step fails, then it is possible that some third-party programs installed on the computer is causing the problem.

    I suggest that you configure the computer in a clean boot state and check if it helps.

    To help resolve the error and other messages, you can start Windows XP by using a minimal set of drivers and startup programs. This type of boot is known as a "clean boot". A clean boot helps eliminate software conflicts.

    See section to learn more about how to clean boot.
