  Purchased books from B & N can still be seen in Adobe Digital Editions (they use a slightly different DRM system that ADE has not been updated to handle yet).  To view this content at the moment, you need to use the desktop B & N software.

  I'm tired of seeing this message. I just want to read my book. I changed computers since 2 years ago, I bought my ebook. In any case, the book presents itself as being in my library - but I can't read it because of the above message.

  Well, if you don't save ADE on your original with an AdobeID computer, you are almost out of luck.  Your only recourse at this point would be to ask where you bought the book for a redownload.

  1. you remember to make changes to the computer before this problem?

  2. are you able to boot into safe mode without any problem?

  Since you are not able to restore the system to normal mode, I suggest you to do a system restore to a recent date of WinRE using the full version of Windows Vista disk.

The proceduce updates a row in the table. After this method call, I navigate to the same run with params.

  You have something in your entity that has changed.  Call rollback on your transaction module app before executeWithParams put it in a clean condition.

  I bought my wife a pocket of Sony E-Reader for Christmas, I also bought an ebook of waterstones. I sent him the .ascm file it has received and immediately opened on his cell phone, he opened with Adobe Digital Editions and was able to see and read the ebook (I guess it was an annonymous account).

  To transfer the newly bought for my wifes reader book, I created an Adobe ID and then allowed his PC to this account. The E-Reader appears on ADE but I'm unable to copy into the e-reader. He says that the ebook is associated with a different user account.

  Does anyone know how I can fix this problem and why it appeared in the first place?

  You will need to work with their technical support to get a new download link of the file/.acsm which has not yet been associated with a particular user.

  One you have has a transaction ID that is associated, which has already been used to create a license for a different user (E_LIC_ALREADY_FULFILLED_BY_ANOTHER_USER).  In this case, the other user is enabling anonymous original who marries you orginally was on the computer.

  You would have to:

  (1) add a column in the underlying table of the DB to track lines are claimed
  (2) change your VO to include a where clause clause that excludes claimed elements
  (3) add something in your UI to release the goods in question (if necessary) so that you can release an item if someone closes their browser.
