  I use Oracle Applications 11.5.10.2 and Microsoft Office 2010. I have installed the respective patch and designed a XML report with success.
  
  I display in my XML report, master and detail records. For example, let's say the details Dept and Emp.
  
  When I generated the preview, it displays the data permanently. I mean at the level of the header, it shows 10-Dept details below it will display the employee details located in the Dept 10 and immediately, without any page breaks, it displays Dept-20 and its employee details.
  
  But my requirement is I want Dept-20 to be included in the new page instead of permanently display.

  Please try the troubleshooting below to check the status of the shadow copy Volume service

  1. click on start > all programs > Accessories > run

  Type the following text in the run window, and then click ok:

  Services.msc

  You will get the Services window.

  2. Please check service Volume shadow copy service is "started" and "automatic".

  If these services are not set to "Started" and "Automatic", please, do a right-click on the service and select "Properties".
  On the window properties, please change the startup type to automatic, and use the Start button to start the service.

  Click on apply, click ok.

  Close the Services window

  Restart the computer and check if the problem occurs again.

  If the problem persists, start your computer in safe mode and try to do a restore of the system again. Temporarily disable your anti-virus protection

  In the same folder that your catalog file is stored in, there is a subfolder whose name ends with Previews.LRDATA. Delete this subfolder whose name ends with Previews.LRDATA. Do not remove anything else.

  1. What is the Office of BI Publisher used?

  2. I suspect that you're openeing a 10 g model, which was designed in 11 g. Am I wrong?

  If you design a model of 11g, you must use only the same or above this release
  to preview.  This is because, between 10 and 11g, this is a major release and many change
  improvements and new features are included in 11g that are not available
  in version 10g,.

• Connection was Timed out [loading XML] error in the browser of BI Publisher

  Hi all
  
  I have a report from the editor with "concatenated SQL" as the source of data. It uses about 30 SQL queries. I downloaded applications, model initially. I am able to view the report in the BI Publisher but when I try to edit it, it throws the error "the connection has been exceeded. (Loading XML)
  
  BI Publisher Version - 10.1.3.4
  OS - Windows XP Professional
  
  I tried many many times to refresh the edit page, but this random allows me to edit [as once out of 50 tests].
  
  Can you please help me fix this error? I don't know if I need to implement the option of delay in BI Publisher.

  $J2EE_HOME/applications/xmlpserver/xmlpserver/js/XDOReportModel.js

  Property name: XDOReportModel.TIMEOUTMSEC

  Anyway, as far as I know it has something to do with JavaScript and the creation of the page. Try to download Java Runtime Environment Version 5.0 (last updated) and make sure that it is enabled in Internet options explore.

  I tried to run the troubleshooter, it put my WMP settings by default, but that did not work.
  is there any solution for this?

  Try the following troubleshooters and check if the problem is solved or not.

  Help!  When I start my Lightroom 3, the message appears "Lightroom has encountered an error when reading the preview cache and need to quit."  When I press ok, Lightroom will stop.  I don't know what to do.  I read on google that I need to go to my preferences and clear my cache, but I fear that I will lose the files I was working on in Lightroom.  I have not yet saved them on an external again.

  Using Windows Explorer or the Mac Finder, go to the folder that contains your Lightroom Catalog - usually within my pictures or my folder under your user name.

  Delete the folder whose name ends with Previews.lrdata. Do not delete anything else.

  Now, launch Lightroom and previews are rebuilt when you browse in the library. You won't lose anything.
