Error: Invalid manifest or application descriptor

Hey,.

I have problems to install an OTA application.  I get the error message:

Error: Invalid manifest or application descriptor

The 'MIDlet-Version' attribute is not a valid version number.

This is the JAD file:

Manifest-Version: 1.0
MIDlet-Version: 1.0
MIDlet-Jar-Size: 110544
Microedition-Configuration: CLDC-1. 1
MIDlet-Jar-URL: AppName.jar
RIM-COD-Module-dependencies: net_rim_cldc, net_rim_bbapi_invoke, net_rim_bbapi_menuitem, net_rim_bb_framework_api
RIM-MIDlet-flags-2: 0
RIM-MIDlet-flags-1: 3
RIM-COD-Module-name: AppName
RIM-COD-size: 48912
MIDlet-name: AppName
RIM-COD-creation-Time: 1282082618
MIDlet-2: AppName, gui
MIDlet-1: AppName,resources/icons/icon-27x27.png,background
RIM-COD-URL: AppName.cod
MIDlet-Description:
RIM-COD-SHA1: 3 b 89 bb d6 3 c 1f a0 52 b3 19 96 7B 7th 8F 56 cf 15 2d af 4 c
Microedition-profile: MIDP-2. 0

Can we see something wrong with that?  Also, do you know how easly test installation OTA?  I don't have a url to download from, it is from a paid site and they don't seem to have a way to test the installation of the OTA.

EDIT

I figured out how to test the OTA installation but I always encounter the same error.  I have another point of entry, don't know if that matters.  The version number allows you to v1.0 but I changed because I thought the v could be the cause of the issue but still no luck.

Thank you.

I thought about it, I think it was the version in my other entry point is inccorect too.  If anyone runs into this problem make sure your version number is as so:

Major.Minor [.] Micro] (X.X [.]) X])

Where the number of microphone can be omitted for example:

1.1.0
11.1.0
1.11.1.
etc.

Make sure that there are only numbers and. in it also.  Here's a good link:

http://developers.Sun.com/mobility/MIDP/questions/version/index.html

Also, try to remove the .jad files and cod.  I kept problems where it is not up-to-date.  I had to remove and re - building several times before that has worked.  Hope that someone else who saves the trouble that I have lived.

  • Air App for Android - error 301: application descriptor missing

    Greetings!

Have built in Flash for a while, I am brand new to mobile development.  I am currently creating my first app Android, a very simple game called '302 saves the Galaxy '. I don't intend to sell the game.  I'm really just trying to learn my way through the process of publishing for future projects.

I was able to get to the last step in creating the apk file and I get this error in the command line process-

"Error 301: Application descriptor missing/cannot be opened.

Here is a screenshot of the window from command line-

    error screenshot.JPG

Here are some other details on my process-

    • In Flash, I chose to publish to Air 2.0, because it's the only option I had (IE, no Air 2.5 option)
    • I checked three times and all spellings seem to be correct in my command line syntax

I don't know I'm missing something here obvoius.  Any suggestions?

    Thanks in advance!

  • When I start my computer, I get the message "runner error invalid BAckWeb application id 137903" what is it and how can I fix/get rid of it?

Runner error invaldi 137903 backweb application ID

Runner error invaldi 137903 backweb application ID

You can have an application antivirus or antimalware too aggressive.  Which do you have?

    See: http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/document?lc=en&dlc=en&cc=us&docname=c00061410

I suggest NOT to take advice of HP to make an "HP System Recovery".  If you are unable to uninstall HP or Compaq connections, you can probably prevent the error message by disabling the application HP Backweb to start as follows:

    Removes the AutoRuns http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/sysinternals/bb963902.aspx

Install and let it scan.  When the analysis is complete, click the 'connection '.  Examine the entries in the tab log for an entry which seems related to the Backweb or HP or Compaq connections connections.  If found, clear the check box for this item.

Restart and confirm that the error message does not appear.

If you cannot determine which of the no doubt several items related to HP is the culprit, uncheck half of them and restart.  This repeatedly until you identify the startup item that is causing the error message.

In AutoRuns, leaving an unchecked item prevents him from starting automatically at startup, but you can restore the automatic start simply be rechecking the box.  Once you determine you want to never see again the question, you can remove it.

  • Flex Builder error: Namespace 2.6 in the application descriptor file must be equal to or greater than the minimum version 3.1 required by Flex SDK.

"2.6 Namespace in the application descriptor file must be equal to or greater than the minimum version 3.1 required by the Flex SDK kit."

    what it means?

    to run the application

    (1) I need lower version 3.1

    (2) I need a newer version than the 3.1

    I'm confused.

You can change the project xml file. I solved like this.

  • clear an error: invalid value "1.0.0.0" request-requires-System. "

Hey everybody. Recently my app had accepted in App World, and now I have to finally move to sign my application. I followed the steps listed HERE, and everything was fine until I actually went to sign my bar... it throws the following error:

clear an error: invalid value "1.0.0.0" request-requires-System. "

I have searched the forums and found this but (which also led to this), I came across another problem. I've been working out of my project of Mobile Flex using the SDK of heroes and everything seemed fine. It debugged very well, installing BAR was very good and above all, it has been accepted by RIM. I thought it was no big thing, but now I run into issues. The discussions I linked to had a response from an official developer of running off of the latest version of the SDK (0.9.3), but my project says that the SDK is not compatible with mobile projects.

Someone at - it suggestions? I hope I don't have to redo something here, but I tell myself that I'll do all what I need to do my application upwards and running as it should. Thanks in advance guys!

Edit: another suggestion was actually go in my manifest file in the META-INF and remove this line of text. I can do this, but I don't know what effect it will have and I suppose you far, far smarter than me. If I try to go and screw with my files, it can't end well.

Haha what do you mean you're not too bright. you really made the right decision here. in the first step of creating a project, you can choose the Flex SDK hero. You cannot choose the BB SDK because it works only as a reference library.

If you go into Preferences > Flash Builder > target platforms, what do you see here?

    Hello

Thanks for posting your question in the Microsoft Community!

If I understand correctly you found the error in the event viewer.
Event Viewer is a tool that displays detailed information about the events important (for example, programs that don't start as expected or updates are downloaded automatically) on your computer. The event viewer can be useful when troubleshooting problems and errors with Windows and other programs.
I would like to ask you a question in order to better understand the issue.
You did changes to the computer before the show? All newly installed programs?
An application manifest is an XML file that describes and identifies the shared and private-by-side assemblies that an application should bind to running. These must be the same assembly versions that were used to test the application. Application manifests may also describe the metadata of the files that are private to the application.
The error seems to be related to the drivers of amd.
We will visit the amd support link and install the compatible drivers for amd programs and check if this solves the problem.
We also execute (SFC scan) System File Checker. The tool File Checker system to determine if the problem you are experiencing is caused by one or more system files that are used by Windows, the System File Checker utility analyzes the system files and replaces incorrect versions of system files by using the correct versions.

    Hi waly,.

Thank you for the information. I suggest that you unplug all USB connections and refresh your laptop. Then try to use your webcam. I think that the problem with the USB connection that gives you the error and not your webcam. Here is a document on how to update your PC to solve problems (Windows 8).

If you are still experiencing a problem with the webcam and then one of the documents in the previous post should help now. Any stage of document Windows 8 will be the same for Windows 8.1.

  • Version with ControlLogix - link cRIO (implicit messaging), "(Code 16 #0315) problem" connection request error: invalid segment type ""

I have developed and delivered a system in Germany several years ago.  He worked then.  But the cRIO was damaged and replaced by a newer model, and does not now.  I suspect (and Support technical OR agree) it's a problem of software version, which could be solved with the NOT-MAX Software Installer.  But I do not have access to the system myself, and correspondence is slow and tedious.

The original system was a cRIO-9073, developed with LabView 2009.  He used the implicit Messaging.  The ID of Instance, sizes, IP addresses, etc everything has worked very well.

The current system is a cRIO-9074, with LabView DURATION 14.0 (I guess that LV 2014), Scan Engine 4.3, NI - Industrial Communications for Ethernet/IP 14.0.0, etc.  Programs FPGA and processor are responsible and seem to work in the cRIO.  The "EthernetIP Set Assembly Instance Data.vi' will return no error.  But the PLC just pointing out "(Code 16 #0315)" connection request error: invalid segment type "."  We looked at intellectual property (the mistake was different), sizes and body #s.

The PLC doesn't have to all be modified.

Anyone know if there is no problem of compatibility with LV-2014 and Ethernet/IP 14.0.0?  Or if there are all the other required packages?

I am including the NOT-Max reports.

    Hi ZX81

To help you 2009 application to work with the new cRIO, you must deploy it to the device. You must in order to deploy the cRIO, make sure it has the same versions of software that you used with the old cRIO.

You can format the cRIO NI MAX and deploy the application of LV, 2009. However, if you do not have access to the cRIO or your client does not have the necessary software, you can deploy the application in another cRIO with software (cRIO same model and same modules as your client) and create a picture of it and send it to your customer so that it can deploy the cRIO even without the software on his computer. The following document explains how to do this.

  • Installation of Java 1324 error - invalid character

It's SO frustrating. Every time I try to install Java, I always get the error message: "Error 1324. The AVG Plugins path contains an invalid character. »
I remember a folder named 'AVG Plugins' but it is eliminated for some time now and it was located on an external hard drive. I have no idea why he decided to blame for its failure to install on a particular file. Well, I'm sure that the folder has had a registered symbol (®) in its folder I can see where its getting the part "invalid character" of... Before it was deleted, the Plugins of AVG file contained Java installation files, but I deleted them eventually if I could reinstall it on my hard drive. I remember at one point, Java was working fine once again, but after some problems with MP3 Rocket (which depends on Java), I deleted Java and once again tried to reinstall... Which doesn't of course.

At first I thought that I would just change the destination folder but I tried to save now on many places, but I always get the same exact error message, with the same exact file mentioned (AVG plugins). I tried to install Java the way normal and in one end offline installation, I get finally to the same error message. Can someone help me please?

Here is part of an old MSINFO report (at the time when Java was installed in AVG Plugins). You can see that Java appears several times in the folder "Plugins AVG", which may have something to do with this current error message... Also, some Java files see the place in my control panel, but I'm unable to uninstall the. Let me know if this is something that I need to study in detail in order to solve this problem...

    Hello

    Method 1:
You can disable the anti-virus installed on the computer and then try to install java and check:
    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows7/disable-antivirus-software
Note: Antivirus software can help protect your computer against viruses and other security threats. In most cases, you should not disable your antivirus software. If you do not disable temporarily to install other software, you must reactivate as soon as you are finished. If you are connected to the Internet or a network during the time that your antivirus software is disabled, your computer is vulnerable to attacks.

    Hello.

I am happy that it has worked for you in the end. The CRG team will probably add an option setting somewhere in a later version of the MAF. They also suggested a more clean approach to deal with the issue than to change the XCode project template.

First, create a file named plugin.xml and paste the following inside XML. I suggest you create the file in a central location, because it can be referenced by more than one app.

        maf-plugin-opt-out-multitaskingn
Opt out of iOS multitasking on iOS 9

Then just register the plugin in the MAF - application.xml. Things should look like this:

    Best regards

    Frédéric.

    Error: 1270005 error loading application 1054003: [Thu Jan 22 16:01:52 2015] Local/EPM_LGCY / / / 17120/Error (1270005)

Fatal error: invalid page found in the global storage file in the location [0001.0001.00000002]

I copied the support environment of backend application and tried to launch the cube but still the same error.

I tried to delete the cube of EAS and still the same error. No doesn't work on this cube, and every time he throws the same error.

Could someone please explain what the error "invalid page encountered in the global storage to the location file" means and how to fix this?

    Any information is greatly appreciated.

    Thanks in advance

    Srini

Try the following support document - "Essbase 11.1.2.3.500 by that Block Storage Option (BSO) Application fails to start the errors related to a global Application of the Option (ASO) storage (Doc ID 1667664.1)"

Essentially to delete the ASO app under the location of the hybrid - /user_projects//EssbaseServer/essbaseserver1/hybrid /.

    See you soon

  • "JNDI name is already in use" error when deploying ADF Application after the deployment of Interface of AM Service

    Hello

    12.1.3 JDeveloper / WLS 12.1.3 / Windows 7 64-bit OS.

I am facing the problem that is mentioned in the following post.

    https://community.Oracle.com/thread/2284290

I created a simple ADF page with the data to display in the Employees table. The page works fine.

I added a custom method to the AM and a profile of "Business Service Interface components" deployment of the AOS.

When I'm trying to deploy the stand-alone WLS Service, it gives the error below.

If I deploy only the AM Service interface, the web service deployment is going very well.

If I cancel the deployment of the AM Service and deploy ADF EAR, then it also works very well.

But if I deploy the AM Service and then try to deploy the EAR, then it gives the error below.

And vice versa, if I deploy EAR application, and then deploy the AM service, it gives the error below.

It was working fine until 11.1.1.7.

I have done this repeatedly for a long time and wasn't any problem in 11.1.1.7 deployments.

If something has changed in 12.1.3?

Even if the AM Service is existing, it is deployed in the same application, it should be able to just crush?

Here are the results with different versions

11.1.1.7 - domain of the ADF - Standalone Server - works fine

11.1.1.7 - SOA - Standalone Server - domain works very well

    12.1.3 - error field - integrated WLS - ADF

    12.1.3 - error field - independent server - SOA

(The foregoing analysis is based on a simple project ADF as a point of Contact for that matter).

    Real-world scenario

    --------------------

We need this because ours is a BPM Application and the Composite depends on the AM Service, so the AM service must first deployed in the field of the SOA.

Then, we make the process as well as the ADF UI for task forms. ADF project depends also on the model project

We get the error during the deployment of the BPM project and the ADF UI project below.

    Error

    -----

Unable to deploy EJB: ModelEJB.jar model.common.HRAMServiceBean:

[EJB:011055] The EJB deployment error ' model.common.HRAMServiceBean (Application: employees, EJBComponent: ModelEJB.jar) ", the JNDI name" HRAMServiceBean #model.common.serviceinterface.HRAMService "is already in use." You must assign another name JNDI in weblogic-ejb-jar deployment descriptor. XML or annotation corresponding to this EJB before it can be deployed.

[12: 02:07] caused by: java.lang.Throwable: substituted for the missing class [EJB - 11055] the EJB deployment error ' model.common.HRAMServiceBean (Application: employees, EJBComponent: ModelEJB.jar)', the JNDI name "HRAMServiceBean #model.common.serviceinterface.HRAMService" is already in use. You must assign another name JNDI in weblogic-ejb-jar deployment descriptor. XML or annotation corresponding to this EJB before it can be deployed.

    Thanks for any help

Found a workaround for this problem.

I don't have to do this in 11.1.1.7 well!

You don't know if it's the right solution or not!

If anyone of you knows a better solution, please share.

I did the 2 following things.

    a. classes of the AM Service Interface of removed files from deployment profile filters

    ViewController project-> properties-> deployment profile--> filegroups--> WEB - INF / classes-> filters

    : Uncheck * Service *. * files (4 - Service.class, Service.wsdl, Service.xsd, ServiceImpl.class)

    b. deleted the deployment profile of library jar ADF for the model project

    Model project-> properties-> deployment

: Remove the deployment of ADF library jar files profile

And now I am able to deploy time interface AM Service and application.

It works for me because I won't need to deploy the AM Service interface again while deploying the process / code of the ADF.

Since I will deploy the Service Interface of first Business components separately.

    Thanks and greetings
