  Added the following line to the file Extended Entity Object.xml
  "DefClass ="oracle.apps.fnd.framework.server.OAEntityDefImpl"xx.oracle.apps"below the RowClass ="... "package line.

  This solved my error, but I can't do it this way is fair or unfair suggestions.

  What version of Dungeon Siege you trying to install?

  The cause of this problem could be the corrupted resource (.dsres) file or disk error. Here are some things you can do to solve the problem.

  Method 1: Run the disk check.

   

  Check the integrity of your hard disk for lost clusters and errors.

  To do this, follow the steps in this article: check a drive for errors

  Method 2: Defragment the hard disk.

  This improves the performance of your hard drive.

  Reference: improve performance by defragmenting your hard drive

  Method 3: Run the game as administrator.

  Here's how:

  (a) right click on the game configuration file.

  (b) choose 'Run as administrator'.

  Method 4: Try to install the game in a different folder or to a different drive

   

  Try to install the game in a different folder. If the computer has another hard disk, try to install the game on the other hard drive.

  Follow these steps.

  a. Insert the game disc in the drive.

  Note: Do not click on Quick Installation during installation.

  b. follow the setting menus until you see the change button.

  c. click change.

  d. in the path box, delete the existing path, and then type the following text:

  I have Trend Micro installed and it shows no virus. Any ideas of what could be the cause? It keeps popping up throughout the day.

  From your description, you get a message indicating that Core Services Shell.exe meets an Application error.

  We will try to solve this by using a clean boot.

  I have already defined in table colums.

  Please check that the type of the CreatedBy attribute is a number representing the id in FND_USER and not the actual text of the name of the user. Standard Oracle columns that use a number for this value not varchar.

  Windows 2008 R2 - I just started getting this when I connect, and also when I try to manage the machine:

  MMC cannot open the file:

  C:\Windows\system32\ServerManager.msc

  It is perhaps because the file does not exist, is not an MMC console, or was created by a later version of MMC. This may also be because you don't have sufficient access to the file.

  It always worked before and work for other users simply not me on this particular area. It is a production company, and I need a quick resolution please. Thanks in advance.

  Based on the error message that seems to have a problem of Shared Services. Check that the "ADMIN" account is used for the connection of HSS and that you are using "ADMIN" to create the application and see if the same error is returned.

  I tried to solve this problem, but I forgot:

  I have norton antivirus on my pc and windows vista, I suddenly found that all my files (documents, photos odfs... etc) all have a strange icon placed in the original top icon it looks like Media Player. I can open them on the pc, but I have treid to opencoy to my USB, he initially said no space and I deleted files. ND, then I tried to copy these fields to it, I got this error message:

  and I think that it is aa problem with my antivirus it diesnt run correctly.

  pelase advise I can't afford lossing my documents.

  Error 0 x 80070052 occurs usually when you try to copy files to an external storage device. You can format the drive to the FAT32 file system format and check if this solves the problem.

  Come to your icons of files problem, I suggest you perform a system restore to restore the computer to an earlier point in time before the problem occurred.

  I have the same problem "error code" when to test the connection to a database, even if I have an APEX db which connects without a problem.
  
  I have re downloaded jre & SQL Developer just to make sure that all the files are where they should be in no chance.
  
  I also tried most of the suggestions in different threads.
  
  Does anyone know what can cause exactly this error?
  
  for example; should I be looking for a file called "ocijdbc11" & put it in the path "java.library.path"?
  
  Can someone explain to a beginner to db connections I have to do?
  
  I use the 'light' client check box is clear, and I do not know which way to enter the correct file so that it works?
  
  It is must connect as a TNS connection & was working fine until recently, the only change I can think is a moving files from the 'C' drive, but I thought developer redownloading SQL would slove this.

  No, the sqldev comes with its own drivers. First try to enter said tnsnames.ora as thefurryone path and restart.
  If still no go, you can try to bypass the problematic environment settings by changing your ORACLE_HOME in a batch (inside the sqldev folder) file:

  set ORACLE_HOME = % CD
  Start sqldeveloper.exe
