Error: XML parsing failed because «»

Error: XML parsing failed because «»

I have searched for the meaning of this very confusing error message, but all I can find is comments saying I should put verbose = true in my build.properties file.
I use JDeveloper 11.1.1.5 to build if it uses a file build.properties this isn't one that I created.

When I click on the error it just takes me to the top of the file bpel that I have an error in (or so he claims).

Can someone explain please once and for all what this error message means and then suggest ways to fix this?

Thank you.

This error occurs when there is a wsdl file or xsd double in your project. Remove one double and its references... you should be happy to compile your project successfully.

  • ORA-31011: XML parsing failed

    Hello

    Currently I am passing the sql SELECT query * table to this API oracle returns XML data into a clob.

    I have a column in DB which, once certain error over a value that contains an unprintable character. Its not visible directly on sqlplus then I ran the query to find its value ascii() and it turns out be ASCII 4 which is EOT [end of transmission]

    dbms_xmlgen. GetXml is isn't able to manipulate and generate the XML from this table. His throw ORA-31011: failed to parse XML.

    I know that you can use regxp_replace as in the following example to remove all control characters (that is, non-printable characters):

    SELECT DBMS_XMLGEN.
            getxml (
              'select regexp_replace(empno,''[:cntrl:]'') empno, ename, job, mgr, hiredate, sal, comm, deptno  from emp')

      FROM DUAL;

    But, this also removes the feedback tab and transport, I need to keep.

    What is needed is a set of characters (for example, [: xml :]) that can be used with regexp to return all valid XML characters.])

    No idea how to remove all non - xml characters elegantly (i.e. without having to specify the ranges of hexadecimal characters, etc..)?

    You need to delete ASCII 1-8, 11,12,14-31 and 39, so I doubt that ' elegantly '.

    Here is an example of work with regexp_replace and (clumsy) beaches. There is no more an EXCEPTION with the high-end:

    DECLARE
      ostr  VARCHAR2(50);
      nstr  VARCHAR2(50);
      xstr CLOB;
    BEGIN
      FOR i IN 1..255 LOOP
      BEGIN
        ostr := chr(i);
        nstr := regexp_replace(ostr,'['||chr(1)||'-'||chr(8)||']|['||chr(11)||'-'||chr(12)||']|['||chr(14)||'-'||chr(31)||chr(39)||']','#');
        SELECT DBMS_XMLGEN.getxml ('SELECT '||i||' i, '''||nstr||''' str  FROM dual') INTO xstr  FROM dual;
        --dbms_output.put_line(xstr);
      EXCEPTION
    WHEN OTHERS THEN
      dbms_output.put_line(i);
      END;
    END LOOP;
    END;

    Hello

    below stmt does not...

    Useful error message, you can give us?

    In any case... I see two problems here:

    (1) the minor is the obvious syntax error here (no opening quote), but it's probably a typo:

    FROM XMLTable(flexcube/contractStatus'

    (2) the major is that your file contains an invalid XML document (no single root), but a fragment of XML instead as such cannot have an XML prologue.
    The contents of your file was really what (no prologue):

              TRESTEL        eDealereDealer
              eDealer        202980100

            FEDCBA98765432100123456789ABCDEF
           1180100        018

              GRVKSEL        eDealereDealer
              eDealer        206981112980100
              M@1129800002nal@1112980100@20698@FX@1
            FEDCBA98765432100123456789ABCDEF
           80100        018

              UTIOSEL        eDealereDealer
              eDealer        206981112980100
              M@2011-10-ternal@1112980100@20698@FX@1
            FEDCBA98765432100123456789ABCDEF
           1112980100        018

    This would have worked:

    SQL> SELECT q1, q2, q3, q4
      2  FROM XMLTable('/flexcube/contractStatus'
      3         passing xmlparse( content
      4                           dbms_xslprocessor.read2clob(
      5                             'TEST_DIR'
      6                           , 'flexcubes.xml'
      7                           , nls_charset_id('AL32UTF8')
      8                           ) )
      9         columns q1 varchar2(200) path 'system'
     10               , q2 varchar2(500) path 'accessKey'
     11               , q3 varchar2(100) path 'password'
     12               , q4 varchar2(800) path 'contractRef'
     13       )
     14  ;

    Q1          Q2          Q3          Q4
    ----------- ----------- ----------- -------------
    TRESTEL     eDealer     eDealer     1180100
    GRVKSEL     eDealer     eDealer     80100
    UTIOSEL     eDealer     eDealer     1112980100

    If you have control over the incoming file, I suggest you correct its content is by adding a root element, then you can keep the prologue and use your first query (after correction of typo's fault), or remove the prologue entirely and use the above.

  • XML parsing error - "Please help."

    Use livecycle designer for some time, I'm quite new to XML.

    I added a normal button with send to my form be sent by e-mail feature and it works well.

    However, we would like to have email pre-fill the subject line and the body with a set of instructions for our users.

    After many searches google and forum, I have the line of XML

    submit format = "pdf" textEncoding = "UTF-16" xdpContent = 'pdf datasets xfdf' target = "mailto: " [email protected] "subject ="Form completed for approval - traveler - travel Date"& body = amp" (email body) "/ > ".

    but I get the following error: XML parsing error: not well-formed (invalid token) (error code 4), line 10220, column 202 of the file

    relates to the 'after the word Date.

    Does anyone know how can I fix? and if this is going to do what I'm trying to achieve?

    Thank you

    Hello

    the submit element does not support the attribute of the subject, there is only a target attribute that contains a version of the string after the mailto scheme.

    Change you xml source in it.

    Igor

    Me stupid (when do I start to actually read what was written)

    You have a table with varchar2(), the date and xmltype.

    So, how do you think Oracle to convert the xmltype column to xmltype (at least it's a moment)?

    So you can get the content out, xmltype but then you have to convert it to xml, it is already XML...

    So we need to find another approach to "xmltype (cursor (select * table)).

    In principle, you can extract the content in the XML file directly.

    For example (untested) something like

    select xt.pod
    from table tab
          , xmltable ('/edi_l/trader/idrif/hdr',
                          passing tab.XML_FILE
                          columns
                            pod VARCHAR2(20) path 'pod')  xt

  • Satellite A100-496: WLan authentication failed because of incorrect password

    Friends,

    I use Intel PROSet Wireless user interface to connect to my wireless router.
    Because of this process, I have disabled my windows for wireless control configuration.

    However, despite the use of the property of device correct password and the password, I am unable to connect to my WiFi router.

    I get an error stating
    * "Authentication failed because of incorrect security password." *

    I use the same password key to connect wirelessly through my other laptops, and they work fine...

    I can't find the reason for this failure of authentication...
    All the world is facing a similar problem?

    Is there a way I can allow windows to control my authtication rather than Intel PRO Wireless...

    Please guide me...

    Kind regards
    Dhiraj Shetty

    Hello

    Again activate the Windows configuration and use Windows WLAN options to configure WLAN connectivity. To be honest, using Intel PROSet, this should work too.
    Try to remove the protection of password on your router for a moment and test the connectivity. To be honest, I'm sure that there is something wrong with the settings of your laptop.

    By the way: what operating system do you use?

  • Operation failed because the file already exists

    Hello

    I have a quick question and I don't know how to fix it.

    I used VMWare vCenter to migrate and existing virtual machine, he got stuck and failed.

    I went to Virtual Infrastructure delete the virtual machine but for some reason still exist some files and I see the files allocated for this purpose.

    I tried to migrate it again and I get the following error

    Operation failed because the file already exists

    Cannot create disk virtual /vmfs/volues/xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx/FreeBSD/FreeBSD.vmdk

    How can I manually delete this file (s)?

    Thank you

    Paulo

    Is it possible that I can manually delete these files?

    One way is using the data store browser (right click on the data store and select Browse).

    WARNING: it is not an undelete function
