Examples of a SWF with DVD-menu? (CS4)

I'm still no Adobe Encore CS4 users. However, the German version of Adobe Premiere CS4 test does not to me to use the program again. I need to create a SWF with a DVD menu, here I have the finished file to connect to the encryption software must integrate.

Before you buy first now, I want to see only if the SWF file with encryption software has worked.

Somewhere I can download a sample file to SWF format with DVD menu? (Download flv and progessiver). In the menu a link must exist also in a web page. Or if someone can create for me quickly such a sample file. Two films with 5 seconds of game time. The menu, selects for movies and the menu is also a link to a web page.

I would be very grateful for this help.
(Excuse for English is not perfect.) I come from Germany).

Mike

You might be better off buying Flash for it.

  • Adding video to a DVD Menu

    Hello world

I am trying to create a DVD Menu. I want a video to loop through the menu, but I can't find out how to do this. Do I have to make the menu as a video file, with the video file play on (say for example supported mov), and then create the buttons around the mov? I guess I have to configure the menu looping? Is to do with a file menu imported from photoshop, I use the layers as placeholders for my buttons anyway.

    See you soon

    Chris

I am looking for a way to get the video in a box on a layer of photoshop.

There is no such thing. It is inherent in the DVD specification. You can have only one video of BG with all the motion already baked in. As Stan mentioned, at best you can exploit the functionality of creating thumbnails of yet to an extent, but all the rest should be created in a publication / video editing program.

  • Editing DVD menu

A disillusioned by the extent of supply of pre-defined menu in the 'Street' 9 Prel version and refusing to be held hostage by Adobe 'More' offers, I decided to open the world of editing DVD menu.  I downloaded excellent PDF of Chuck Engel on the subject (is there an updated to version?-his discussion is centered around Version 2, although for the most part, his notes of this version on how to build menus seems to be quite applicable to Prel version9; for example, the basic syntax for naming layers has not changed).

One thing that I noticed when you browse the directory of DVD menus

Adobe Premiere Elements 9-> model DVD-> DVD Menu name

Is that most of the model structures use the dimension in pixels PAL SD (640 X 575) as opposed to NTSC (648 X 480).  Is there a reason for this?  There are models of skeleton for the main four formats (SD-NTSC, wide screen NTSC, PAL - SD and widescreen PAL) and it would seem, at least superficially, as the pixel dimensions PAL rather than NTSC pixels dimensions, would result only in a size slightly more big portrait of any menu that displays prepared in the framework of these constructions may deduce that the tops and bottoms of the menus made using construction PAL would be slightly truncated.

Of course, if we're still using text and graphics NTSC guides, isn't a problem.  My questions is: in most of menu presets offered by Adobe with its core product, most of them seems to use the pixel SD PAL rather than NTSC dimensions dimensions.

Someone has experienced difficulties with menus developed according to the definitions of the PAL and used in a NTSC format... incorrect menu size, strange apparitions, etc and much much more, why would have produced layer of Adobe package with so can PAL models menu if they were not used in the NTSC environment?

    Thank you...

I got so into it, I have a jump strongly consider in the Premiere Pro arean and apparently the menu system it is somewhat similar to what we are discussing here.  Yes?

Menus in pre and again (the app creation than ships / installs with PrPro) are very similar. The difference is that still does no semi-automatic creation, so you'll need, say a main Menu, then as many Menus Scene_Selection, as it takes. There is no Menu CD-ROMs in again, as before. Menu naming conventions are much, much less important in yet.

The reason of ' all Scene_Selection Menus...» "is because you manually bind your buttons to your assets. Navigation is carried out manually, you need as much S_S Menus as you need buttons. Say you have 20 chapters (or 20 deadlines) and the Menu you have chosen no more, or have built, has 5 buttons scenes/chapters, then would need you 4 people. They may be essentially the same, except maybe a next and previous button. The first would not be a precedent (but only one button of main Menu), the following two would have a following and the previous, and the last would not have a next button. GER is part automatically, as it goes to market, or DISABLE these keys and creates the number of Menus S_S since only a 'master' in the Set Menu. In again, YOU do it. Although there are more "hand work", there is a lot more power. In the DVD plug., you can do almost anything in yet, where the pre is very limited. In addition, with a few creative "trick Tower," you can move a lot of restrictions the DVD specs. You will not have broken the rules, but if done correctly, will convince your users that you have.

If you migrate to yet, I highly recommend that get you a copy of the great book of Jeff Bellune, The easy Guide Adobe EncoreDVD 2.0-Focal, Focal Press. Yes, it's for an older version, but because it is still adheres to the DVD plug., everything in this book apply to Encore CS5. Now, the most recent still will have more features, such as Adobe Dynamic Link, which appeared only in one version of EncoreDVD 2.0, the version CS2 Production Studio. Also, the creation of comics has been added, but with a few exceptions, is identical with regard to the creation of a DVD. Jeff you how to navigate almost everything that can be done, and much, much more. The little "tricks" are worth the price of the book.

    Good luck and happy creating,

How can I fix this so my choice is "Photos" for "Chapter selection" and after that "marriage"?

    Any help appreciated,

    Nicholas

    Nicholas,

Button routing is probably set on automatically to the buttons of road. Normally, it works pretty well. It is based on the order of the buttons layer games, as displayed in the PS, with inside a like button 1 on-site through the order. This is, regardless of any change in the name that could apply to these button layer sets.

In Encore, with the Menu in the Panel of the Menu change, tap the button routing and uncheck automatically Route buttons.

You will now have a series of "crossroads" for each button in the Menu. in the middle of each cross will be the number 1 - X button. Of the four arms of each cross will be other numbers button. It can now be changed to reflect your desired navigation. Let's say for the button 2, the top arm of the cross a button number 1, but you want to button number 5, just slide the button number 5, and this number at the top of the arms of the cross will change. Just be sure that all the button numbers accessible from somewhere, or that the user will not be able to directly access this button.

    Hope this helps,

    Original title: DVD burning

I successfully burned a DVD of a film I made with moviemaker that I can still play on older versions of Windows, but I can't play my DVD on my DVD player.  I get a message that says: "disk is incompatible."  How to burn a DVD compatible with DVD players?

    Hello Angels3cma,

Thank you for posting.  It seems that you were doing data DVD discs.  To burn DVDs to be compatible with the DVD player, you will need to make DVD-video disc.  I have listed the steps below to make DVD-video disc in Windows DVD Maker.  These same steps are be typing "How to burn a movie on a DVD" in Help and Support found by pressing the button Start/Orb you Windows desktop.

    Burn a DVD-video disc

You can create DVDs quickly and easily using Windows DVD creation. You can add videos, photos and audio, make slide shows for your DVD, or add your Windows Movie Maker projects. Once you add files, you can burn your DVD with a single click, or, if you prefer, you can choose from several styles of menu and the slide show options to make your special DVD before you burn, or customize your DVD menus and write the DVD menu text yourself.

After you create a DVD, you can play the DVD on a DVD player and watch your movies and slide shows on TV. The following steps explain how to use creation of Windows DVD to burn a DVD.

    To open Windows DVD Maker

    • Click Start, click all programs, and then click Windows DVD creation.

      Note

      • You can also open Windows DVD Maker by inserting a DVD recordable or rewritable Virgin in your DVD burner. When the AutoPlay dialog appears automatically, click on burn a DVD video disc using Windows DVD creation.

To add and mix and match the elements on a DVD

    1. On sharing your memories on a DVD page, click Choose photos and videos.

    2. Do one of the following on the Add pictures and video to the DVD page:

      • Click Add items. Find and select the video files, photos, and files in project Windows Movie Maker that you want to add to your DVD, and then click Add.

    3. To arrange items and specify the order in which the different items will play from the DVD, click on the video, photo or slide show that you want to move, then click on go up or down. You can also move items by dragging upwards or downwards in the list.

    4. To remove an item from the DVD, select the item you want to remove, and then click on remove items.

Choose a DVD burner and enter a DVD title

    1. If you have more than one DVD burner installed on your computer, on the add pictures and video to the DVD page, select the DVD burner that you want to use from the DVD burner list.

  • Time to DVD Menu Video DVD Maker is not the same when the DVD is played.

I'm using Win7 x 64, Windows Live Movie Maker and DVD creation.

I have a built in Movie Maker movie, I use DVD Maker to put it on DVD. I chose the theme of the "video wall" for the project.  I have a secondary video I use a background video and an MP3 track that I use DVD audio Menu.

    Simple details of the problem:
My real video plays Fine, but my video 'DVD Menu' give me issues.

Everything works perfectly when I "Preview" the film inside the creation of DVD. Background video and audio play in their entirety. However, when I burn the DVD, but the video freezes EXACTLY at one minute while the Audio continues to play in its entirety. I tried to make the video and audio of the exact same length 3 minutes, 14seconds.

How can I get the video DVD Menu to play to an end with the audio track?

    Intricate details of the problem:

Initially, I met a problem with the video DVD Menu from 15 seconds in the video rather than at the beginning and then a loop after about 15 seconds. The preview reflects, as did the test DVD I burned of the project.

To resolve this problem, I modified two elements of the XML file that is used for my theme. InputStart Offset (I set to 0.0, then the video starts at the beginning) and the MenuEndTime for the intro (I updated 195000 to account for the entire video). With these values in place, the preview was able to display the video for its entire duration (at the same time as the audio track). However when I check the DVD on a DVD player, read it in Media Center, or even on a Macbook, the Menu of the DVD video background freezes a clearly mentions mark a minute.

Examining the physical files engraved on the DVD that I discovered that the DVD menu appears as a video named VTS_01_0.VOB. I can see this video using Realplayer (and VLC) and the duration was EXACTLY what I see in the Menu of the DVD. The background cut video to mark it exactly a minute.

The problem seems to me that the encoding of the DVD is not even including anything after this mark one minute for the background video.

I've experimented with change other elements of the file XML in DVD Maker in an effort to solve the problem but have had no success. I currently suspect that the problem is NOT in the XML file for the project as it appears in the overview of creating DVDs very well. The problem may lie in the encoding settings used by DVD Maker to burn media physically.

Someone saw values that I need to change and where for this project to work?

Thank you in advance for your help!

  • Seal a .swf with a transparent background in an XHTML file

I'm trying to integrate a .swf with a transparent background in an XHTML file. The only answer I found so far is to use < param name = 'wmode' value = 'transparent' > in the object params and wmode = "transparent" in the embed tag. Using this code, the entire .swf file goes transparent with icons. I also read to use "export html code" in Flash (using transparent windowless in settings) but that gives me a file .html huge to make it transparent which is of no use to me. I need for the import/include in my page home using a few lines of code. Any help would be appreciated.

I don't think that you listen to what I say.  You use the embed code is old and will not work with recent browsers, and as you have, it would be incomplete, even in those ancient times.

You don't have to use the page that Flash produces when you publish an html page.  You can copy and paste this code in place of what you now that does not.  CS6 provides a little more efficient integration of code that CS4 will be, but still CS4 will bring something better than what you use.

How can I use the DVD markers on the timeline in Premiere Pro (therefore also in again) to generate a DVD menu in Encore. In first pro 2, the included DVD creation DVD markers are presenting as a DVD menu automatically.

  • Conflict with Superfish menu and WowSlider

I thought I should start a new thread about this. I bought a license for WowSlider, troubleshooted almost all issues (menu hidden behind the cursor has been resolved by resetting the z-index for the menu at 101, WowSlider is set to 100). However, the questions continue with the menu. I have even the z index-999 and added a bunch more of the values of z-index in different parts of the menu in css.

I narrowed down it to her being related to have several jquery objects in a page. I have a conflict with the Superfish menu and the WowSlider - on the homepage, where is WowSlider. The forums suggest to insert the noconflict code depending on whether I did but he did the menu fail completely.

  • Web - URL to DVD-Menu link

Is this possible with Encore CS6 to link a URL with an element in a DVD Menu?

When you insert the DVD in a computer or a DVD player with webfunctionality and by clicking on this menu item, the web browser with the specified URL must be open.

    Thanks in advance!

N ° if you export as flash, burn the Flash disk, and open on a computer, then you may have web links. But this isn't a "DVD".

You can have different content on a DVD (in the ROM section) that computers can access, but it does not interact with the program/DVD menus as such. You can put a message from text in a menu asking the user how to access the section of Rome. In fact, you could put the export in flash in the section of Rome.
