Hello
I'm not sure what you mean, but if you're not comfortable with these tasks, you may have to get a consultant.
The main steps are:
- Connect to the source application and extract security tasks > extract tasks > excerpt from security.
- Save the .sec file in your office
- Connect to the new application and load the .sec since tasks file > load task > Security load.

Hello
In our society, we have oracle server on Suse Linux with two instances TETA and TETA201.
One day on a server broke down, because there is no free space due growing files 'archivelog.
After that I manually deleted several older archivelog files, but after the reboot, the server error occurs when connecting to the database:
"ERROR:
ORA-01034: ORACLE not available
ORA-27101: shared memory realm does not exist
Linux x86_64 error: 2: no such file or directory
Process ID: 0
"Session ID: serial number 0: 0"
$ ORACLE_SID is set to TETA, if export it to TETA201 connection works correctly
Oracle service startup there is no errors but only one instance is running TETA201 works correctly

How can I check, it's a table really compressed or OWM not in?
Hello
This is the right way to determine whether a table enabled version uses compression. It could be another property table or tablespace that causes the same error will be triggered. It is difficult to know exactly without the full table DDL. If the dba_tables query was ACTIVE for this column, the inner workings of the Workspace Manager would have to set as unused column instead of a fall that could have prevented this error. This behavior has been updated in 12 c to always define the column as unused anyway. As a on 11.2.0.3, you can use ignore_last_error to jump the abandonment of all columns of metadata (version, nextver, delstatus, ltlock and createtime/retiretime if history is used). Then when DisableVersioning is complete, you can issue the unused column from the game DDL manually for each of the columns.
Kind regards

Hey guys, it's Xev.
I decide to use SQL and XML and it works in a scenario, but in another scenario, is not.
Here's the Code, I'm passing to two variables, first of all, I spend in the table table_name, and then I spend in the schema.
If I connected it with "user" and that it seeks it's own pattern, he found the results, as for example, but if I try to run this code while not
connected to the same user I'm looking for more, I get this error.
ORA-19202: an error has occurred in the processing of XML

Can someone please explain how works (DBMS_XMLGEN) and why it is throwing this error?
Thank you
Xev.
It has nothing to do with DBMS_XMLGEN. GETXMLTYPE. It simply means the user running your SQL has no select privileges on the table & SCHEMA_NAME. & TABLE_NAME.

VS2010 ORA-00942 table or view does not exist
I have
-vs2010 professional
-.net 4.0 Framework
-ODTwithODAC112021
-oracle 10g databases
When I try to display 10 using ODP.NET oracle databases in Server Explorer, I get the error: ORA-00942 table or view does not exist. The "Tables" folder cannot be extended. I can see views and other records. I am able to run a select statement of the query of existing table in the query window also. Default filter setting is to show all under the scheme. I uninstalled and installed ODT several times and got the same results.
This is the case even when I try to add a new source of data oracle by using the wizard. He threws the same error.
There is no error if I use the .net data provider to connect to the same oracle server and add a new data source.
Can anyone help please? Thank you very much!

[Update] found that this error is associated with a particular account & schema. This account is super powerful and the database is enormous. I can connect with another read-only account and see all the tables in the previous scheme of powerful.
Is anyway to see what table or view has caused this error? The error message is really not that useful here.
Published by: 850347 on April 6, 2011 12:24While the user is "super powerful", it seems, there is no access to a catalog table that ODT must be metadata about the schema.
You can understand the table by running a trace ODP.NET:
(1) close VS2010
(2) in the registry of windows, change the registry value \\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\ORACLE\ODP.NET\4.112.1.1\TraceLevel to 1
(3) restart VS2010
(4) reproduce the ORA-942 only
(5) close VS2010
(6) to cancel the registry value (set to 0)
(7) in the file generated (c:\odpnet2.0.trc) do a search for "942", I hope that you can find. Just before the error, you should see the SQL code that was executed.Please post an update here to let us know what you find.

SQL > alter database backup controlfile to trace noresetlogs;
SQL > shutdown immediate;
go to the trace file generated from running (alter database backup controlfile to trace noresetlogs ;)
location of the trace file is located in the query:
SQL > select * from v$ diag_info;
It will contain the script with the SQL commands, you can rename the file with the extension ".sql".
SQL > startup nomount
SQL > @trace_file. SQL
SQL > restore database;
SQL > alter database open;
So basically you are going to recreate the files of control again...

Thank you
After changing the logging level for 32 track, filled with the SQL log file.
The application consisted of a JOIN with two or three tables table (dba_users and dba_quota_tablespaces).
After providing privileges select on the quota table, I was able to learn from the user.
Thank you

OBIEE 11 g: odd error in report ORA-00942: table or view does not exist
Hi gurus,
I get the following error if I pull one or more columns in a table of facts
Error codes: OPR4ONWY:U9IM8TAC:OI2DL65PState: HY000. Code: 10058. [NQODBC] [SQL_STATE: HY000] [nQSError: 10058] A general error occurred. [nQSError: 43113] The message returned by OBIS. "" S_1 N_ACCT_BALANCE""XXXXXX"FETCH FIRST 4000001 LINES ONLYIs the weird part, when I take the physical sql and run it against the same user account. It is fetching result. He also works in a different environment, but throwing error in our test environment, both environments are well established for a long time to return, and many projects are developed by many different groups.
I really need expertise help to break this question. Given that I do not get no idea why his mistake to throw into the application layer?
Any help will be much appreciated.
Thanks in advance

Nathalie
Save nqquery.log which connection pool is used to send the query to the DB. Then check the configuration of the Connection Pool to see what user credentials are used to connect to the database, to which database (DSN), and if the table owner prefix is added to the SQL.
ORA-00942 can often be due to the existing table, but the user trying to access him confer no rights. Rather than say 'no permission', Oracle will say 'does not exist.

ORA-38754: FLASHBACK DATABASE not started; required redo log is not available
Hello
I am getting below error when executing the activities of flashback. Currently we have backups, so when I tried the command flashback in RMAN my question solved.
But if I want to do the same thing using SQLPLUS what steps should I take?
ERROR:
ORA-38754: FLASHBACK DATABASE not started; required redo log is not available
ORA-38762: redo logs needed for SNA to SNA 20062842936 20062842926
ORA-38761: redo log sequence 4 in thread 2, 65 incarnation cannot
consulted
DATABASE:11.2.0.3.0 (UAT)
RMAN will automatically restore logs archived redo required for the operation of blowback when they are not present on the drive, while (as meyssoun said) when using sqlplus required archived redo logs must be available on the disc.
