  I assume it must be easy to transfer all information - calendar, contacts, etc. - in a new computer.  HotSync not worked for centuries, but I thought that all I have to do is to install the software on the new computer (which has been done safely), and then import information from the old computer and import the exported .dba file into the new computer software.

  But when I do this I get the message "... is not a file from archive Agenda, or the file is corrupted.

  I'd appreciate advice, please.

  To find your Lightroom presets, choose the command Edition > Preferences (Lightroom > Preferences on Mac) and select the Presets tab click Show Lightroom Presets folder to your Lightroom presets folder.   If your Firefox settings, including Favorites and saved passwords, are stored in a profile folder. The location varies depending on your Windows version, so please check this article for more information on searching for it: profiles - where Firefox stores your bookmarks, passwords and other user data.

  Note: by default, Windows hides all application data files. You can view them by changing a setting. This article has the steps for more recent versions of Windows: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/wi.../show-hidden-files.

  Now... Once you have all this info in one convenient place, you have a few different options:

  (1) selectively copy a few files. This article has more information: recovery of data from an old profile.

  (2) just to restore a backup of bookmarks: this would completely replace the bookmarks in your Firefox new with those that you are restoring. If you have new things, you don't want to lose, then you can add the optional steps:

  1. (Optional) Export bookmarks: Firefox bookmarks export to a HTML file for backup or transfer bookmarks
  2. Backup to restore: restore bookmarks from a backup or move them to another computer
  3. (Optional) Import Bookmarks: import bookmarks to an HTML file
  4. (Optional) Rearrange Bookmarks imported in logical places (it may be in a folder of bookmarks imported on the menu or in Unsorted bookmarks)

  (3) transplant wholesale. I posted some steps to do this in the past, but I'll need to look it up. In General, after doing this, your new computer Firefox looks almost exactly like your old computer, Firefox.
