Export comments to tab delimited the correct page numbering / w?

Hi everyone and thanks a lot in advance for your time. This will be a good test of skill for some of you.

Recently, I need to export many comments that I did in some PDF files into an editable format and that I could use in Word or Excel. I discovered how to make via JavaScript through this: http://livedocs.adobe.com/acrobat_sdk/9.1/Acrobat9_1_HTMLHelp/wwhelp/wwhimpl/common/html/w whelp.htm & file = BatchSeq_BatchSequences.96.1.html? context = Acrobat9_HTMLHelp

However, the problem is that if I change pages in the PDF file I come with problems in the exported file pertaining to the page number that it shows the comment information.

For example: I have a PDF file with 100 pages from 1 to 100. I rename pages 1 and 2, of A and b. So now I have tagged pages A, B, 1, 2... 97, 98. If I make a comment on the page 5 (which is now the page 7 of the PDF) and export information through the tab sequence, he will show me that there is a comment on page 7 and not the renumbered page. My question is what code I entered the command of javascript to change or add more, this issue of the page.

I hope this makes some sense, please feel free to let me know if you need any clarification.

Again, I really appreciate time for everyone in this.

You use the 'page' of the annotation object property to get the page number on which the annotation appears on. This number can then be used in the method "getPageLabel (nPage).

So it appears that you want to change this line of code:

+ "\t" + annots [i] .page

The ".page annots [i]" provides the JS page number on which the comment appears. You can plug this number in the 'gatePageLabel (nPage)' method to the doc object has the parameter "nPage.

+ "\t" + this.getPageLabel ({nPage: .page annots [i]})

  • Index is not showing is not the correct page numbers

I use 7 HR to develop versions online and print the user guide. There are several tables of contents for this project (the tables are specific to the user). When I generate the project for my chosen table of content, and I find the results, the index numbers do not show the right page. Example: number of units... 106; number of units is actually on page 112.

Is there a trick to make it display correctly?

  • If I have a small Firefox page I can not open a NEW page. He let me just open a new tab on the reduced page

If I have a small Firefox page I can not open a NEW page. He let me just open a new tab on the reduced page. I used to be able to open a new page in browser icon on my desktop, but for these last days, it won't let me. It is a desktop computer, running Windows 7. Everything is up-to-date.

Hi Deb, it's hard for me to test it personally because I've pinned the shortcut of Firefox to the taskbar, which changes its behavior, and when I remove it, I don't fit my desktop icon. (?!)

Anyway, as a temporary workaround solution while we sort out this point, you can use the 'Skip' list: right click on the Firefox icon in the task bar and choose 'Open a new fenΩtre' that should certainly generate a separate window and not only a new tab in the existing window. Normally works?

Firefox has a hidden setting that you might try to change to see if it makes a difference. Normally, when you open a link in another program, it opens in a new tab in the last window of Firefox, that you used. Your what's doing? I propose changing the setting so that the link must open in a new window to see if it has an impact on this problem.

    (1) in a new tab, type or paste Subject: config and press ENTER. Click on the button promising to be careful.

    (2) in the filter box, type or paste link.o and make a pause so that the list is filtered.

    (3) double-click the preference browser.link.open_newwindow.override.external and set its value to 2 and click OK.

The possible values for this preference are as follows:

-1 = follow your settings in the Options for new tabs vs new windows (default)
3 = open external links in a new tab in the last active window
2 = open external links in a new window
1 = open external links in the last active tab replaces the current page

There are a few other similar named preferences, so be sure to change one that has 'external' in the name.

    Any difference?

  • I did the error page numbering; need help please

CS4 IND, win7. I have a file with the pump and the price of parts and another with a fair price for parts. Starting price on page 1 of the pump (the cover page, the left side of page 2... etc.) up to page 48. Similar agreement with parts price file. Today I created a book file, so I can make a pdf and search for the reference numbers in the two files and make sure that they have the same price in both files. Now, I have discovered that the second file (price of parts) in the book begins its numbering of pages to 50. I want to be like the first file numbering page. (like before I did this book file.) I dibbed in absolute numbering of the sections and make me lost and frustrated. How can I get the things as they were before? Help, please.

In the 'book page numbering options' accessible via the menu:

Uncheck the box that says automatically update section and page numbers.

  • Export to PDF out of the opening page

Using Indesign CS 5.5 7.5.2 on a mac. I have a document in a book composed of 67 individual documents. Each document is paginated correctly. Each document starts on the right side with good white as the last document pages when necessary.

When I export to PDF (print), each document begins on the left side. I hope that there is an easy solution for this. Help or comments appreciated.

You probably just need to adjust the display settings in Acrobat to "show the cover page".

  • How to set preferences so that open new tabs to the same page that activates when the command-T has been affected?

By opening a new tab, the default tab opens to thumbnails based on recent history. The Safari, I want the new tab to open * to the same page, as was active when command-T was hit *. What are the specific actions, to set the default value (preference), new pages to open 'same page '? ('Same page' is check in Safari preferences box).

Note, I've sailed available Support of Mozilla and using about: config have reset browser.newtab.url so that the new tab appears empty (stop followed recent history for this purpose).

Note, most importantly, I found this article of Support Forum, which, although written challenge, gave me a temporary solution:

      * https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/891635

(The temporary solution for the Mac OS is to command-click the icon 'Reload current page' in the url/address box in the browser toolbar, which opens a new tab in the same window).

However, I would like to define this as a preference permanent and would ask someone give me a solution. Cheers, teacher

You can't, that's why I suggested the modules above. There is no option in the user interface or preferably hidden in Firefox that can duplicate a tab whenever you open a new tab browser.newtab.url can only be set to a fixed address, what address is to be opened in the current tab.

Are the only two built-in methods to duplicate a tab:

    1. Hold down the Option key and drag the tab to a new position on the tab bar.
    2. Hold down the command key and click the reload of the address bar.

  • Tab opens the Web page

    Hello guys and girls,

I have a problem with opening of new tab.
Yesterday, when I click on the '+' to open the new label he would bring a page showing recent sites, I could choose.

But for some reason today, when I click on the "+" to open a new tab it does not the recent sites but goes directly to Bing.com.
My home page is set to a Web site that I use and I never use bing, I also don't have not installed all the software causing this change.
How to reset the tab for bing site page does not open when I try to open new tab?
Maybe forced Microsoft somehow a change from Windows 10 is now, you I use windows 8 and I have no intention to get windows 10.

    Thanks in advance
    Gren

Probably not changed by Microsoft or we would have hundreds of reports now...

Here's how you can change your new tab page:

    (1) in a new tab, type or paste Subject: config in the address bar and press enter/return. Click on the button promising to be careful.

    (2) in the search above the list box, type or paste newtab and make a pause so that the list is filtered

    (3) double-click the preference browser.newtab.url and enter your favorite page:

    • (Default) page thumbnails = > on: newtab
    • Blank tab = > subject: empty
    • Built-in Firefox homepage = > topic: welcome
    • Any other page = > full URL of the page

Press Ctrl + t to open a new tab and check that it worked. Fixed?

If the problems persist, some potential diagnoses and remedies:

If Firefox will not let you change this setting: you can have what is called SearchProtect on your system. This must be removed the control panel. If the status is 'locked' we'll need to help you investigate a configuration file "automatic".

Firefox if allows you to save your changes, but he doesn't know: one of your extensions may be the substitution of her. You can consult, disable and/or remove extensions on page modules. Either:

    • CTRL + SHIFT + a (Mac: command + shift + a)
    • "3-bar" menu button (or tools) > Add-ons

In the left column, click Extensions. Then, take a critical look on the list on the right and turn off (or remove) something unknown.

If the modification works during your session, but during the next startup is return to the unwanted page: you could have a user.js file in your personal settings Firefox (your Firefox profile folder). This article describes how to track down and delete the file: How to fix preferences that will not save.

    A little luck?

  • Export issues of sequences with the correct settings for DVD

Hi - I'm relatively new at first, but working on a project that is very important for me - for the life of me I can't understand correctly export settings.

I have compiled from home movies of my family in a few sequences for the 60 years of my dad. I worked on these weeks now get cleaned and put all together. In total, it's about 24 hours of footage. These videos have all turned initially on a very old camera video in the 80 and 90 - the kind you actually stuck a VHS tape in. My ultimate goal is to put these or on a DVD (although I guess that's too many images for one), or a drive flash or something of all compiled in one video.

So far, I got error messages on not enough disk space - so I tried breaking the sequences and exported individually as smaller files. But now, when I export those, all videos come out tiny - the video focuses on a much larger screen, do more fit to size. I studied everything about elongation and corresponding parameters and I tried everything. Of course I do not something good, I don't know what.

I tried all different export settings, the settings of the sequence, and I thought I was following with the sequence settings, but I guess I'm not. Although I worked on it for weeks, I am out of time. His birthday was yesterday, and I wanted to give her the finished disc tomorrow. This does not seem possible as I am about to give up!

Someone please help! I would be grateful if someone could guide me through what my sequence settings should be and what my export settings should be and how to get the video output to the correct size for the screen.

    I appreciate your help,

    Danielle

Time of export will vary widely, depending on at least these factors

1 - your computer... Processor and the amount of RAM, and is this external drive, USB2 and USB3?

    2. what you change, and effects that you have applied your 718 x 480 video size... is odd, the usual when scanning a VHS tape is 720 x 480, so your video requires 'some much' extra processing
