Export in Lightroom changes change the colouring pic

Hi all

I am new to lightroom and I'm having a huge problem when I export my photos. I'll try to explain it the best I can.

After I'm done editing my photos I export and check them from my pc to see what they look like. they look just how I edit them in lightroom. When I fix the photos on an email or google drive and send them out, the email receipt shows the photo to edit with a different color, a dull look faded. I have reset my presets to export and tried again today and got the same conclusion. also, if I download the photos on flickr or facebook, colouring changes.i afraid to print my photos so that send them to the models.

When I synchronize the photos on my iphone via itunes, pictures on my phone look like the photo of the edict of lightroom and the record of export on my pc.then can I send it through an email to get the right to change the color, but it's hard to do when I send multiple images for models. its fustrating, I hope that there is someone who has been through this and found a soltuion.

Fix is the example of what I'm trying to say. the 1st picture is bad coloring and the 2nd photo is the photo of the correct edition.

Choose your photos in the library Module, click the export, near bottom left button. In the export dialog box, there is a drop-down choice of colors. Choose sRGB. You can also set your image dimensions and resolution: 300 dpi for printing, email/web/blogs 72 or 150 for the retina with finger pinch zoom screens.

The problem is that when I try to put photos in subfolders (depending on date) Lightroom some if put in the incorrect date - 10 hours AHEAD of the actual time that the photos were taken (according to the data from the camera).

This is a bug for a long time in LR: Lightroom: import: folder names arrange by date around midnight of evil when using USB camera

You use a USB cable to connect to your camera?  Try to take the memory card from the camera, put it into your computer's card reader and import from there.  It solves the problem for most people.

I tried to move photos into their correct date subfolder, but then of course Lightroom cannot find more!

Move photos within LR, instead of in the Mac Finder / Windows File Explorer.

  • Options for PDF export - how to change the date format?

    Hello

I use Adobe InDesign CC June 2015 on Windows 7.

When I export a PDF file to print, the date and the format is ' mm/dd/yyyy' (e.g. 2015/12/11 15:14:21) but I want to be ' dd/mm/yyyy' (for example 12/11/2015-15:14:21).

I know it's possible because my colleagues have this date format on their PDFs.

Do you know where I can change this option?

    Thanks in advance,

    Kind regards

    Julie

Well, if the version of your indesign is french you must change the date format in system preferences

to take a peek here how you can do

Change the Format of Date under Windows 7, 8.1 and Windows 10 in dd-mm-yyyy

  • How to export from Lightroom changes

After export edited photos in a folder, I downloaded on Dropbox. The changes are non-existent in Dropbox! What gives?

You can set TIFF have no compression.  JPEG, even at 100 quality has compression and recompress every time that you save again it.    The choice really depends on what you do with the files.

The RESOLUTION setting is meaningless.  Its pixel dimensions that count.  If you want as high-quality as possible then just uncheck "Resize to fit" and the pixel dimensions will be the same size as the RAW format.

So why the dimensions change a fraction of an inch when I export my document of identity as a jpg?

    Photoshop.jpg

    (from Photoshop)

Well, you can't half a decimal pixel.

    Like - 6685,2 pixels

So he must work around somehow.

What if you start a document InDesign using the Web instead of print in the file > new Document

    Then open in Photoshop?

  • Why does Photoshop Lightroom change the import settings?

    Hello

I use adobe lightroom on windows vista.  Recently when importing the pictures on my camera into my computer, lightroom has changed their black and white.  Even if they have not been taken in black and white.  I can't understand how to solve this problem.

    Hello

Make sure that you do not apply a preset on import - development looking at the expanded version of the import for this dialog box.

So check you default in develop module, may restore them by default Adobe.

In your catalog settings do not check auto-ton.

These 3 balls are just what I can think of as a potential reason.

  • Why LIGHTROOM changes the DNG files on it s own?

I noticed this quite a while and it s annoying as hell when you have an automated backup process.

LR regularly DNG files... and LR changing again and again DNG files.

This means that files that are modified yesterday are perhaps changed again today.

I've noticed this with all versions of LR4.x and also LR5.

so I just create a catalog from TEST to test.

I Don t change anything on this catalogue of test images.

all I do is open the catalog and browse the files and allow the LR open and idle for some time.

and guess what... my DNG (and only the DNG files) files are constantly changed for no apparent reason.

to check what has changed in the DNG files I use exiftool and this is the result:

    new file:

    InstanceID xmp.iid:c0474916-c24c-2448-b42c-522076f5a25d

    old file:

    InstanceID xmp.iid:2e88ce2a-2e5a-b34d-a85b-2af2ab3494da

I also did a comparison hexagonal just now on these modified files:

    http://i.imgur.com/FAaZz.jpg

    Another example:

    http://i.imgur.com/vzMbS.jpg

I have the function "automatically write changes to the XMP" lit.

but when I Don t change anything... There is nothing to write in the files... right?

Once again to do this 100% clear...

DNG files are in the LR catalog for months or years (not in the test catalog but my catalog of actual work).

DNG files are not affected by me (no changes are made in the LR modules, no new keywords or metadata changes etc.).

only what I posted above is changed in DNG files.

Does any other file formats (JPG, PSD, TIFF) in my catalog.

I don't use DNG files with any software then LR. I have not the same seen in another program.

PS: of course, I wrote about it in adobe... but as usual, nothing happens.

even with regard to my graphic problems... I send a sample file of adobe... they write in return that the mistake could be reproduced... and 5 point later the error is always in LR.

I do not use the DNG file format, but tried a test DNG file and could not resume this problem on my 64 bit Windows 7 using LR4.4.1 System. I checked the InstanceID by using EXIFToolGUI and he only changed when you do a CTRL + S save metadata in the file. Simply navigate the image in the library module or develop as well as other images in the same folder has NOT caused the InstanceID to change. I also did a search on 'DNG write metadata' in the Photoshop family forum and only found this post regarding the behavior of CTRL + S with DNG files:

    http://feedback.Photoshop.com/photoshop_family/topics/only_write_metadata_if_out_of_date

If what you say is true, I believe there are many posts complaining about the issue. I have no doubt this problem, but logically it should happen only if somehow a CTRL + S or ' save metadata to File command is get called.

Maybe send a file and we can test it on our systems. Please provide some details on the procedures of LR you use that causes the InstanceID to change with this file. Do not assume that we understand what you are doing!

  • How to change the colour keys (photo)

    I used 2 pro and now cs3

recently I tried to make pictures buttons (no photos)

I learned to make buttons of photoshop (it's easier for me than to system still)

all I want is when a buttons to take the value (= 1)

is to make that touches a little bit of brightness

If I'm not mistaken when a button is set (= 1) is the State when you have a cursor over them

(= 2) when you select the button

I tried but when I saw this button when I take the cursor in that

He did not what I want

just remove the button and she made with the same shape, but while gray color

    How can I do?

    Thanks in advance

Unfortunately, you can not do this directly. Subpicture highlight button is very limited. It cannot be that 2 bit color and can have opacity (the opposite of transparency in PS). You have no other choice, because of the DVD specifications.

Now, what we'd do to create the illusion of your effect would be to duplicate your Menu (one for each button) and have the image on the dupe menu changed, that you want. In the initial Menu, you place the button service self-introduction and bind it to the Menu Dupe for this button. I would probably disable all actual subpicture highlighting on the Original Menu and the Menu of Dupe.

Because this can become a bit confused, if you have a lot of buttons, I would definitely do a flowchart available before you start and then name the Dupe Menus to take account of what button in the Original Menu, they will be linked to.

We could do something as extreme as having all the images button in black and white in the original Menu and ask them to color in the Menu of Dupe.

Good luck and we hope this helps,

    Hunt

  • Lightroom changes the appearance of my images after importation

I do not understand this, or why it does. My preferences has everything unchecked.

    I import my images

I see the thumbnails that looks good but when I click on the image, it displays on my 2nd monitor and looks perfect. but here's the problem, a second later, he made an adjestment who ruin my image, it makes it too bright. its like its auto toning and yet I do not understand why he has to do.

My goal is to simply view my picture on the 2nd monitor w/o lightroom adjustment to it.

How can I avoid this or why it is happening?

can someone me please help... any help would be greatly appreciated.

  • I get this error when you export from Lightroom 5 but the export complete despite the error.

It is because the box "after export" in the section of post-processing at the bottom of the export dialog box is empty, which is not valid. Use the drop-down list and select one of the options (doing nothing is fine), and then try exporting again.

  • Why Lightroom does not change the creation date of the file? (Mac OS)

I find that Lightroom changes the creation of files present during the incorporation of metadata. I noticed that this behavior is different from the bridge, which reaches to write metadata changes to the file without affecting the creation date, affecting only the modification date.

I read in other threads that it doesn't matter when even because moving files between disks will write a new file and, therefore, a new date of creation, but if this can be true in some systems (I don't know) is certainly not the case with Mac OS. For example, I have files dating back at least 1998 which have been moved from disc to disc to disc but still retain their original creation date. Which is as it should be. For many of my older images, there seems to be no capture embedded recognizable don't date anyway, so the creation date of the file is the single timestamp.

It seems quite logical that the modified date of a file must be updated to take into account that the file has been modified (for example if adding metadata), but it seems to make sense that the date of creation of the file should be kept as the date, this file has been created. Changing them both on the same date seems to be a needless loss of information.

Some would say that the process of adding metadata to a file creates a new file, the creation date must be updated to reflect this. But I would say that the creation date should be which would include a normal user as the creation date. We do not expect the creation date to change everything simply because a file is rewritten to the disk (for example when the defragmentation), however technically accurate, it would be to say that it is a newly created file. And the difference in behavior between Bridge and Lightroom shows that there is some confusion on this subject.

Photo software ignores generally the operating system created by file-modification dates, and when he is not ignoring them, treated generally in a non-standard way that varies from one program to a program.  Rather than rely on the dates of the files of the operating system, the photo industry has defined fields of metadata with all sorts of specific photos dates: capture date/time (when the shutter button is depressed), date/time of scanning (when a movie or a print image was scanned digitally), date/time software photo altered image or metadata date/time of GPS location.   While some photo software will attempt to maintain the dates of file-created and - updated, many programs and services Web will not (including, but not limited to, LR).  In addition, many utilities files not always to preserve created and set dates to day that you move, copy it, backup and restore files.

Therefore, I highly recommend that if you care photo dates and times (as I do), so no matter which photo software you use, you store the dates of capture in pictures industry standard metadata by using the tools provided by LR and other photo software.   In this way, you migrate the program to the program over the years, are you more likely to preserve that important metadata.

Old photos and scans without that metadata, when you first import into LR, LR will assume that the capture time is the hour of the modified file.  LR to rewrite the date of capture of metadata in the file by selecting and making the metadata you can do > edit Capture time, clicking OK and then by metadata > save metadata to file. You can do it in batch - choose all your old photos and make metadata > edit Capture time, click OK, to metadata > save metadata to file.  LR will affect its time updated each file capture time.   If you want to set the time captured in the file create time, select this option in the window change the Capture time before clicking OK.  But beware that many Windows and Mac file utilities cannot preserve create time, even if they retain changed time, in order to create your files time can be wrong.   And of course, make sure that your backups are up to date and valid before making any new procedure file with which you aren't familiar.

But if you really want to use non-standard file dates to keep your metadata information, and you want Adobe to modify accordingly the LR, so please give your opinion and vote on it in the Adobe official feedback forum: Bug report: Lightroom modifies the image files creation date. This forum is a user forum in which is rarely involved Adobe, Adobe said they read every post in the forum comments (and sometimes they respond).

  • Changing the names of file in Lightroom

Due to a problem with the user I had implemented the incorrect year in Nikon D80.  When I import images in Lightroom the date becomes the first part of the file name

    for example 20090212_Mexico_HMP_0002.NEF

So I was wondering how to change the date (Date time Original, Date time digitized to Date fields hour ad) in the EXIF section for 426 photographs.  If I can change that, I can use the library > order Photo rename to change the name of the file

    Thank you

I think that if you select all from the display of the grid, then choose:

    Metadata > edit Capture time

then fix the first photo of a specific capture time, I think it will adjust all others based on the amount needed to adjust one based on the following comment in the help file:

"If more than one photo is selected in the grid, Lightroom changes the capture time for the active photo of the specified adjustment. (The active photo is presented as a preview in the Edit Capture time dialog box.) Other photos of the selection are adjusted by the same amount of time. If more than one photo is selected in the Filmstrip in Loupe mode, comparison, or investigation, the capture time is changed only on the active photo"

I suggest you try it first on a few images.  There are probably other ways as well.

If you look in the upper left corner shades or panels of color or the bottom of the Toolbox, you will see two superimposed squares that may or may not be in color. These are the proxies of stroke and fill color. Filling is the top left, strong box, stroke is the lower right with the hole in it. Click on one and it comes forward and is active, so any color change will affect what it represents.
