Export of iMovie 10.1 (OS 10.10.5) problem mp4

I export my videos (iMovie 10.1, OS 10.10.5) to mp4 files and my Samsung TV showed them without problems. There are fine without change in the surprises of the TV versions saying that 59 frequency is not supported. The TV shows earlier mp4 files exported from iMovie. Recently, the TV refuses to show you ask, exported mp4 files this 59 frequency is not reported. In the meantime, no change of versions, there not in my Mac and not the TV. Can anyone help?

Looks like you now export movies at 60 fps (frames per second) that does not support your TV, while previous projects may have been at 30 frames per second.  To check this open the movie on our computer with Quicktime Player and under the window, select menu ' show movie Inspector.  This will show the frame rate of film against "FPS".

The pace of the film projects is determined by the first clip that is placed in the timeline.  See: http://help.apple.com/imovie/mac/10.1/#/move6ccb3330

To generate an SPF 30 film create a new project and put any 30 fps clip in the timeline.   Then, open the project 60 fps and all select, copy.  Open the new project and paste it in the timeline.  The clip of 30 images/s can now be deleted.  Share and you should get a 30 fps movie.

How long does take to export an iMovie for 50 minutes on the desktop project? I have chosen the quality and size is 10 GB.  Currently, the status reads at 25 hours.  2 hours ago, he read 22 hours.

The film is composed of video clips, text and 2 songs.

    My specs are:

    MacBook Pro (13-inch, mid-2012)

OS X Version of Yosemite 10.10.5

    Processor: 2.5 GHz 1600 MHz DDR 3

Storage: 105,78 free GB of 498,88 GB

    Boot disk: Macintosh HD

Graphics card: Intel HD Graphics 4000 1024 MB

25 hours seems a little slow, but you have a rather slow mac with Intel graphics card and that you have chosen high quality.  The time required is only a very rough estimate and may change upwards or downwards as and export.  You've probably seen the post from SuperMario1985 that uses Mac much faster, especially in the graphics Department, which is important for rendering.  It is sometimes better to export it faster at least a quality first to verify that makes it all OK and to see if something needs correcting.  When you're happy with it and then go to high quality when you can leave it running and don't need the computer for other work to much CPU.

  • How can I change the sequence exported to iMovie?

When I finished making the video and it has exported, some errors found only. How can I change the sequence exported in the application iMovie editing new, mainly texts?

Just open the project that you exported from iMovie, make the changes necessary, then export again.  (Sod / Murphy's law always ensures that errors found only after export)

  • No sound when the exporting from iMovie ' 09

When you export a movie to the desktop without the audio is in the film. I have attached a background music so don't know if this is the problem? I tried several different routes, but none seems to have worked.

Would really appreciate it if someone has the answer.

I have not heard of his particular problem before, but be aware that iMovie 8 and 9 does not play well with El Capitan. Only later, 10.1.2 iMovie is 100% compatible.

  • Incapable of / the share of exports of iMovie

    Hello

I can't try to share/export iMovie (10.1.1) to a file. The process hangs at a random time or throws an error 10008.

It does not matter what video I try to export, for 2-3 months I always get the same result. As you can imagine, it's very frustrating.

  • Can not export from iMovie 10.1 running El Capitan

Did anyone else having the problem following, having improved, iMovie 10.1 and OSX El Capitan?

I was initially able to use iMovie very well, as before, but now it will not be exported to the file. I managed to reset it and export to file by clearing my browser data, but it worked only once.

I also had problems with being able to open the app store, but that is solved by performing a boot in safe mode.

I tried some of the suggestions on here, so the safari erase and export the videos again QuickTime before creating a new file. That worked once, but I have a second video to do, and at the present time, he is trapped in the place in draft form.

That I have to get these two burned to DVD sooner rather than later, to avoid the missed a deadline for GCSE exams, I was a little panicked! Is there something I can do? Or is there a free/good alternative market, that I could use instead?

    Thank you.

It looks like you can run out of disk space.  How much space to show Finder you have on your hard drive?

  • Lo-res images appear in the exported PDF from Indesign files - anyone else having this problem?

I used Indesign for years without this problem...

But I noticed recently that many of these images (PSD, TIFF, or JPEG) that I placed in Indesign files are exported as pixelated, versions low resolution when I export for printing (PDF/X-1).

I tried different settings, but in each case, the image (which appears thin and sharp as seen in Indesign) came out like a pixelated mess blurred.

This seems to have started happening in the past months.

    Vector graphics are fine.

    Anyone else having this problem?

Or someone at - it a solution?

Also use some PDF parameters where resolution is not sous-echantillonnees at all.

    Turn off downsampling.

And I would like to test, when you export to PDF/X-4 would make to the resolution of the images.

Just to know, if something is fundamentally wrong with your PDF export feature perhaps.

  • Export mp4 in iMovie

OK, I feel like I'm taking crazy pills here.  Each thread that I read in these countries and other forums to export from iMovie .mp4 format is said to use the option "export to QuickTime.  Problem is that I don't see this option in iMovie 10.1.1.  The only apparently logical option is to use sharing-> file, but when I walk through the steps he always saves the file under .mov.  How to export as .mp4?

You are right.  There is no "Export to Quicktime" option in iMovie 10.1.1.  (Either way, an update was released today, 10.1.2. No significant change in the extent of the

as I see it. Have not worked with it much yet.)

When you share a film as low, medium or high quality he will share an MP4. If you share it in better quality (res pro), it will be able to share as a .mov.   The res pro file size will be much larger, but the quality is much better, and you will have your movie in a format that is better for editing, if you need to do outside the original project itself.

  • How to export video from Photos in iMovie?

    Hello

    I have Photos 1.5 and iMovie 10.1.1

How to make video from Photos in iMovie so I can include them in the films of projects/home theater?

The menu shows library of pictures but none iMovie content, even if pictures has the video and still images,

I see no photos to export to iMovie either.

The only idea I can think of is to drag images of Photos on the desktop and then import it into iMovie.

Surely, there must be a better way?

You can simply cut the video and press the sign at the bottom right there will be the drop on the line or you can drag and drop where you want to on the timeline... hope this helps.

  • Problem with IMovie and Quick time

    Hey everybody,

I am faced with an unexpected problem with Quicktime and I Movie, and I was wondering if someone had already known that:

I want to create a film based on shots from my personal camera. I started to work with IMovie to create a sequence of opening and added his musical band. I exported the scenes in Quick Time format without any problem. However, when I merge the exported sequence of I film with shots of my video camera, the soundtrack is completely eliminated.

I checked on the Internet and saw that there might be a problem of "Codecs". To avoid this, I exported the sequence IMovie with Codecs of same as one of my video camera files.

Now, if I compare the files exported from I Movie and those of my video camera, they have identical characteristics. However, the soundtrack will always disappear when I merge them.

Could someone please help me solve this problem?

Thank you very much in advance.

    Concerning

Could someone please help me solve this problem?

Not only based on what you already said.

I want to create a film based on shots from my personal camera. I started to work with IMovie to create a sequence of opening and added his musical band. I exported the scenes in Quick Time format without any problem. However, when I merge the exported sequence of I film with shots of my video camera, the soundtrack is completely eliminated.

How would you"merge" files? (I.e. a "QuickTime" format is any form of data compatible with the platform of supply and the specific structure of QT incorporated into real employment that is stored in a container of MOV file on any of up to 99 tracks possible). Also, what app do you use for reading the file 'merged '? (For example, some media players ignore secondary audio tracks as a result of some methods of 'fusion' of files so it is important to know how the files are "merged," whether or not the audio data are "scattered" several tracks, and/or if the Media Player supports playback of multiple, sequential audio popular.)

I checked on the Internet and saw that there might be a problem of "Codecs". To avoid this, I exported the sequence IMovie with Codecs of same as one of my video camera files.

The specific codecs and settings using the specific version of iMovie? (The current Mac OS X operating systems have two X QT and 'classic' Qt integrated structure so it is important to know what structure is used here and how).

Now, if I compare the files exported from I Movie and those of my video camera, they have identical characteristics. However, the soundtrack will always disappear when I merge them.

As a general rule, you should review the file "merged" to determine why it does not play back correctly rather than comparing the characteristics of the source being merged files. The main problem here seems to be in your project workflow. That is, you seem to be when you perform an operation in two steps rather than edit several iMove multimedia files and then export the combined results in a video the video and audio tracks have been flattened and exported in standard compression formats with unified settings, features and the.

  • Drop music disappeared in iMovie

I use iMovie 8.0.6 and OSX 10.10.5. I just "upgraded" to iTunes 12.4 and now I am unable to choose the music from the iTunes library with my video. It allows the use of files in a folder of iLife .caf, that I didn't know existed. No menu drop-down. I leave, restarted, reloaded, opened iTunes prior to iMovie - nothing works. I used this same process hundreds of times with the previous version of iTunes without any problems. I am very frustrated.

I saw another post with this problem in iMovie 9 and I have the same problem with iTunes 12 and iMovie 9.0.9. Everything in iMovie 10.1.2 works fine, so I think that iTunes 12 is not compatible with versions of iMovie earlier than 10.1.x. One solution might be to export the music you want on the desktop and drag in iMovie.

  • Can I export to 30 frames per second instead of 60 frames per second?

    Hello

Is there a way to export an iMovie at 30 frames per second instead of 60 frames per second? All my clips were imported at 60 fps (how they were shot), but I have a problem with playback on devices and systems, so I want to get to 30 frames per second. I can't seem to find a way to settle this, as 1080 p/60, 720 p/60, 540 p/60 are my only options when I try and share/export to a file.

    Help!

    Chris

iMovie will define the project frame rate based on the first clip you add to the timeline. Add a 30 fps clip known as the first clip in the timeline panel, and then add your clips to 60 frames per second. The rate for the project should be 30 frames per second. Then go back to the first clip and read a part of it. You can then delete this clip and the pace is expected to stay at 30 fps. You can share at 30 fps.
