Export to HTML format with text "preformatted"?

I have a column varchar2 with contains carriage returns.  I want to run my query in SQL Developer and 'export' the results in HTML format.  But when I do, the data in the column lost things like several spaces and returns the cart.  That's why I want to mainly export the column with the < PRE >... < / PRE > html tags.  Any way to do this from SQL Developer?

Example of table in sqlplus:

SQL> create table my_demo (MY_TEXT varchar2(255));

Table created.

SQL> insert into my_demo values ('Hello'||CHR(10)||'   World');

1 row created.

SQL> select * from my_demo;

MY_TEXT
-----------------------------------------------------------------
Hello
   World

So what I want is the MY_TEXT column in the HTML export file to show the world "Hello" above indented it word 'World', just like we see in SQLPlus (my actual query is obviously much more complex).  If I try to select the column with string literals '< PRE >' and ' < / PRE > ' around the column MY_TEXT it does not work and indicates those string and not as HTML tags.

In SQL, we can use "COLUMN".... ENTMAP OFF"- but who does not work in SQL Developer.  Similarly, I don't see how the / * fixed * / index of the SQL Developer will help me.

Suggestions?  An option may be missing me?

I suppose the best solution that I could do was modify the query for:

Select '

'||my_text||'
"from my_demo;

Then export it to HTML format.  Then open it with my favorite text editor and make the following replacements:

< PRE >--->



</PRE>    --->   

Save my raw HTML code after manually making the substitution with the text editor and now I have the registered page displays properly as I want it.

While work work - around, I was just hoping that there was a better solution that does not need me manually change the HTML in a text editor.

    Tell them that not to open the file in Illustrator - this isn't a PDF Editor.

    Request that all changes made through you.

    Or find another supplier in China... There must be more than one.

    Anyway - there is no real way to reduce the size of the file after you have created the contours - as it is fundamentally changing the vector shapes of all glyphs.

    I checked the page code for the page that does not work. It seems that you have inserted your CSS custom page, screen shot - http://prntscr.com/45vndu, which is in conflict with the Muse generated CSS. Delete this and let me know how it goes.

  • How to create forms in pdf format with text for example which can be rewritten

    I'm using a mac (version 10.10.2), using acrobat pro. Originally created the document in InDesign, then create form fields in acrobat pro.

    Sorry for the somewhat confusing title. Basically I have a pdf I want to be able to change.

    I've set up the PDF with form fields that works perfectly - however, I would like to have a sample text in the areas that can be "crushed" by a new text.

    Example of

    If the field were asked for the date, it would be in gray italics an example of date, (ie. 01.01.2016)

    Then when you clicked on the ground this example text would disappear and then when you typed in the new data, it would appear in normal black text.

    I can't understand how to do this on a form which is not online, as this form will be sent from one person to another and not hosted on a site.

    Help would be apprectated!

    Yes, the default value is under Options.

  • When you export to HTML format, the tablet version is published in the office and the version of the tablet.

    I have desktop, Tablet and built phone but when I publish to HTML index and index of Tablet pages are as well the tablet to the export version. When I saw in the Muse, the office is clearly the desktop version and the tablet is the version of the tablet. But when I export the tablet replaces the desktop version, in both places. I tried the publication to Business Catalyst and it the Tablet displays by default, but the index redirects to the Tablet, and /desktop/index.html throws a 404 error.

    Don't seem to be able to get one desktop version, other than when previewing in Muse itself.

    Scaling of native doc can lead you into unexpected force.

    If your goal is to have only bigger than INDD PDF and if we are talking about 7% ratio - I suggest to export INDD in PDF format, as it is and resize PDF files to the next step. It could be done by script.

    This allows to completely and totally hide all windows. Be kind to your users (and yourself!) and turn off just before a command that can be displayed and unwanted dialog boxes; then, just after this command, allowing them once again! Otherwise, you will never see a Javascript error pop up, or, for that matter, any other dialogue ID. It does what it says on the label!

    Is it possible to add the name of the article to the corresponding div when exporting to html format?

    Here are few context:

    -J' have a document indesing containing several items that I would like to export to HTML.

    -Each article contains 1 or more images with the caption, title, and a block of text.

    -Each image and the caption is in a group and are contained in an Article.

    When you export I get this structure:

    Article names are not mapped to div class names in InDesign. The object styles are mapped to names of classes in InDesign CC.

    That's how a class name can be specified in the dialog box style options:

    No, it isn't, but you can run into issues to keep the site updated with new widgets coming out all the time to Muse.

    So it's a bit of a strange.

    in the past, I used muse on windows to design and update my site. that worked perfectly after design I export to HTML format and then transfer it to my FTP server and by far, I will!

    My problem: -.

    then I decided to buy a macbook pro running EL CAPITAN and use that as my workstation for all my design must, Muse included. so, I used the muse, designed my site can export to HTML and upload to my FTP site. the site show up but not my images. I did everything from fixing to make sure it was downloading to the right folder... with no luck, the permissions to the ftp server.

    I then decided to put all my photos file design work... ect on a usb key then put it on my windows pc. Open in muse exported as html uploaded to FTP the she worked

    is their any reason why it does not export correctly when I use my mac from my pc...

When I had some problems with missing assets, I exported as HTML and fixed it, but it didn't update on the layout of the phone or completely on the desk until I published on ftp.     Site as HTML export will export just your Muse site on your desktop without making any changes to your site online, but when you select Publish to FTP, it publishes the changes you did for your website online.

    Export to HTML format is mainly used when you want to use any external client to load your site on the server.

    I'm here today to see if there is a way to only export a site of muse in html with built-in css in like dreamweaver does. Therer is probably no way to do this. However, I do not want the external .css files and I want them all in the html file, files .js is there a way to do it.     Hi Rose,

    When Muse export to HTML format, it exports all separately as HTML files. CSS files in a different folder and files .js in a different folder. There is no way in Muse you can export in any other way.

    This is because a lot of the Css properties are used throughout the site and not only on a particular page, and if these properties are shared.

    In addition, it is a much more efficient way to design a website rather than keeping everything in a single file.

    I'm having a problem with the onboard video, I put in my site.  It appears so fine and everything works in preview, but after export to html format to download the embedded video is no longer there.  I don't have this problem with earlier versions of muse and I think it's a bug. Does anyone else have this problem? Can it be fixed?
