  I want to thank PhoneNumbersVO VO on the employee self-service > my personal information page

  Here's what I've done so now

  1. copy everything under JAVA_TOP > oracle/apps/by/self-service/personal information / * on my desktop under files Myclasses and MyProject.

  2. scope of the VO and added my new columns to the query. This view is not attached to any EO.

  3. copy the class under myclasses to JAVA_TOP files > xx > folder/apps/by/self-service/personal information/server oracle

  4 imported .jpx file using jpximport

  5 .bounced apache

  6. in the Applications, customized phone to add 2 columns newly created in the custom t section.

  View instance serves as my extended VO

  7. now, when I go back to the page I get error

  Not found message. Application: DNF, Message name: FND_VIEWOBJECT_NOT_FOUND.

  Chips: VONAME is XXPhoneNumbersVOEx;. APPLICATION_MODULE = oracle.apps.per.selfservice.personalinformation.server.OverviewAM;

  To me, it seems that I need to join extended VO to seeded AM (OverviewAM)

  The question is when I seeded DoubleClick on this AM I get error

  What could be wrong here?

  If I give the name of view seeded in 6 above, I get no error, but it does not display the values for newly added coulmns.

  Did you create the substitution on jDeveloper? Otherwise, the jpx download the news saying Oracle to use the VO scope:

  3.5 project components/properties/Business Substitutions. Select a seeded on left, extended one to the right and click Add, it should appear on the substitutions.

  Now, you can import the jpx.

  To confirm, verify the jpx, it should have a section of substitutes at the end:

• Update of personal information through employee self-service

  I hope you guys can help me with this problem that that a user is confronted.
  
  The user has updated their privacy - they entered an entry into force with regard to while the changes would be effective.
  
  The user has spotted while they misspelled his last name and you want to update their name again. However, when they're going to update their personal information, there is no option which is given to the user to allow them to make changes to the entry into force they have registered. Instead, the system gives them the ability to view the changes to come.
  I understand that the user cannot use the "correct personal info" option because it won't that make change their current information.
  
  Is it possible, that the user can update their personal information through employee self-service? Or did once they have updated their information they must wait for this entry into force, until they can make other changes?
  
  I hope that all makes sense.

  I guess that's a standard feature of oracle self-service.
  Future changes should be removed first, and that cannot be done through employee self service, or through Manager self-service.

  However customization can be made to the page such as adding a new button that will take care of your condition.

  You got. If you have installation DoR and professional human resources may record and see DoR for dependants. Now, you want employees to manage DoR for their dependants by ESS, rather than get the HR professional to do, right?

  Two reflections on the realization of this:

  1) give the employee the same DoR function used in the menu HR professional so that in theory, they can seek and find someone Dor. Then, make sure that their security profile limits access to only themselves and their dependants as well as in practice, they find only themselves and their dependents.

  Here's the jsp/html right? Oracle Forms functions are supported on a P_QUERY_ONLY parameter which can be set to Y then you can only view the data. Maybe something like that it also exists for the basic functions of jsp?

  Has anyone ever head to integrate a WebCenter content with self-service? For example, coating a person personal documents folder (or simply a list of these documents) on the landing page of self-service.

  Yes, MY COE can be integrated with the self-service of EBS module.

  Self-service in peoplesoft basically modules you access to information whenever necessary.

  Employee self-service modules are for workers... to view their information. It reduces the administrative procedures for access to information. Broadly, it also reduces the cost of paperwork. It helps employees to view information related to benefits, compare the benefits, details of compensation, the personal data, request for leave, etc..

  Self sevice Manager modules however help to maintain a watch on their historical and current information realted team to leave, compensation, State of the event to work even terminate or remove any employee.

  Hi, please help me with this. When an employee enlisted in benefits through Self Service during the open registration period, is the registration method always registered as 'E' for explicit as opposed to a ' for the default value in the table BEN_PRTT_ENRT_RSLT_F in the ENRT_MTHD_CD column?   Yes, registration method is described as "E" every time unless registration is automatic for which he will be 'A' or default for which it will be done "."

  Note that D does not mean that the choice was a default choice (which also means) but that registration was created by the default registration process.

  I have a requirement. After the presentation of a SSHRC request approver must update some fields before approving the application.

  For example.  If the request has the loan amount, Date of the loan, loan reason and comments.  All fields will be completed by the employee and submitted for approval.

  The nursery or the approver is supposed to update the amount of the loan.

  This is a Self Service custom through the SIT.

  We have a scenario as follows:

  We use standard Oracle API to download time of presence of machinery data. An employee is missing its Scan-In in the morning. It opens its user in Oracle and spends his time in Self Service time. At this point in time, it can enter only at the moment that the time will be recorded at the end of the day. He enters the start time, but is unable to submit it for approval that this requires an In and Out.

  Thus, his time entry is not immediately approved. We demanded that these manual entries immediately submitted for approval. Y at - it all the features to respond to that?

  The user can back up the folder and when the EXIT time is also captured the map can then be submitted for approval.

  I have create a self-service loan based on the SIT, everything works fine. but I need to check if the current employee of a loan already, I know that this must be done by a select statement. I tried user hock API, unfortunately it works only finally approved.

  How can I check that without use of OA Framework or java.

  We was having the same requirements too, after trying so many times with the hook SIT and user works only the final approver.

  We have done the same, but instead of SITTING down, you should use EIT, create the same what you did but use EIT on the SIT, it will work automatically submit button and before approvers

  I have a problem in the management of absences Manager Self Service.
  
  Here are the requirements:
  
  I define a rule of SOUL for HR_LOA_JSP_PRC for the employee: HR_POSITION_LEVEL: require approval up to the first position

  Absence of delete in SSHR LOA page has unfortunately no workflow whether, which means that if your employee cancels an absence that the Manager does not know. Here are the ways the most around this:

  (1) build a user API hook that sends a workflow notification to the employee/Manager when the absence is cancelled. I say the notification to the employee/Manager because I suppose the absence could be canceled by the employee, the Manager, or by a professional through PUI in HR.
  (2) customize the button Delete in ESS and only allow managers to remove the absence - in this way you can be sure at least that the manager knows the employee cancellations.

  If you use an accrual basis Plans there is another thing to consider: If you allow employees to cancel leave in leave in previous years that what to do for their Report? Often customers have additional logic here prevent this scenario or to automatically adjust the report (the same applies here to update of absences and the absences created in retrospect).

  You can do this by using personlization. On Table level button Submit would be. You can set rendering-> property button set to false.
