• Update of personal information through employee self-service

  Hi all
  
  I hope you guys can help me with this problem that that a user is confronted.
  
  The user has updated their privacy - they entered an entry into force with regard to while the changes would be effective.
  
  The user has spotted while they misspelled his last name and you want to update their name again. However, when they're going to update their personal information, there is no option which is given to the user to allow them to make changes to the entry into force they have registered. Instead, the system gives them the ability to view the changes to come.
  I understand that the user cannot use the "correct personal info" option because it won't that make change their current information.
  
  Is it possible, that the user can update their personal information through employee self-service? Or did once they have updated their information they must wait for this entry into force, until they can make other changes?
  
  I hope that all makes sense.
  
  Any help would be appreciated.

  I guess that's a standard feature of oracle self-service.
  Future changes should be removed first, and that cannot be done through employee self service, or through Manager self-service.

  However customization can be made to the page such as adding a new button that will take care of your condition.

  There is a quick and easy way to do it. Not sure how you feel well. You can change the vo xml file and edit the sql code. This of course not patch resistant. The alternative is a substitution of the VO.  A quick dirty way is to get a copy of $JAVA_TOP/oracle/apps/per/selfservice/personalinformation/server/BasicDetailsCurrentVO.xml and modify the sql statement:

  Change in per.national_identifier

  TO

  "XXX - XXX - |  SUBSTR(per.national_identifier,8,4) national_identifier

  This apparent changes the view object. Of course the right way is seen object substitution.

  Usually users use just the Forms interface.

  However, there is no reason why you can not put the SMS EIT feature on the menu of your HR professional instead. If you do this, the HR professional users would use the 'Search' box at the top of the page to find people in their security profile (rather than see a graphical hierarchy) - they can then them transact exactly the same way as would a Manager.

  Hi all
  
  I'm new to OAF, so please, be gentle. :-)
  
  I need to update the page from the Self Service used in R12 (12.0.4). I downloaded and implemented JDev and made some of the tutorials in Toolbox.
  
  How can first question - I get the files on the server of R12 to update?
  
  Second question - all I want to do is information return assignment after a specific date (hard-coded). Am I right in thinking I just need to update the original Version?

  You must identify the VO, need to be changed, this page link will provide u all the information, you can find the original Version attached against the u of a field for which you want to make changes, also you will find the hyperlink on the name of VO, when you click on that will give u full of VO details and patch of VO where he resides (these files are always put in higher public) , "Java System Properties" link will give u the details of common_top.

  1.), you must create a workspace and a project
  (2.) in the project, you must create the same package where the VO is bieng put on the server
  3.) transfer the original Version required the help of Toad or any FTP utility on the package u created previously

  You got. If you have installation DoR and professional human resources may record and see DoR for dependants. Now, you want employees to manage DoR for their dependants by ESS, rather than get the HR professional to do, right?

  Two reflections on the realization of this:

  1) give the employee the same DoR function used in the menu HR professional so that in theory, they can seek and find someone Dor. Then, make sure that their security profile limits access to only themselves and their dependants as well as in practice, they find only themselves and their dependents.

  (2) keep SOR dependents against the person of the employee, but rather use FDF to identify attributes that support the DoR belongs, IE, have a required attribute in FACT with an LOV from the contacts of the person connected.

  We use standard Oracle API to download time of presence of machinery data. An employee is missing its Scan-In in the morning. It opens its user in Oracle and spends his time in Self Service time. At this point in time, it can enter only at the moment that the time will be recorded at the end of the day. He enters the start time, but is unable to submit it for approval that this requires an In and Out.

  Self-service will be just re - direct to a url of discoverer of apps_secure. This url must have the parameter workbook = WBK_IDENTIFIER where WBK_IDENTIFIER is the DOC_DEVELOPER_KEY in the properties of the workbook.

  You should be able to update the function of the form that you use to include workbook = WBK_IDENTIFIER in the parameters field. See 278095.1 and 471303.1 metalink notes.

  Here's the jsp/html right? Oracle Forms functions are supported on a P_QUERY_ONLY parameter which can be set to Y then you can only view the data. Maybe something like that it also exists for the basic functions of jsp?

  What more you can check go to this page, then business façade.

  Check all the available objects of VO that attribut2 is available or not.

  If attribut2 is available, you can add using personlization.

  If this is not available you must extend View object referenced. It takes knowledge of the framework of OSTEOARTHRITIS.
