EXTJS - SELECT LIST to SUBMIT FUNCTIONALIT CEASES to OPERATE on APEX 3.2

I joined with a 3.2 Apex EXTJS. Since then, all the 'submit the feature' is incorrect. I have a simple list (several of them) based on dynamic sql. When a value is selected, the page is submitted - but when the page is re-made the 1st is always displayed (any value is selected the 1st vlue to this list is always displayed). If I change this to just a list of selection, then the correct value is displayed - but as soon as the page is sent (with a submit button) and then 1st on the list is displayed. If I change the page template as a default template and not the extjs template, then fine.

Thank you
Hervé.

Thanks to Tobias (for his help) and Mark.

If you convert html select lists of post deletions Ext combo boxes the dom selection list, including the onchange attribute object.

You will need to write code to handle this.
Either convert only select list without onchange attributes or write code to detect the attribute and add event handlers to the drop-down list item.

No - I did not write a solution for this.

The second question you have raised with the selection list does not remember the State can result from Ext mobile form elements outside the shape.
I talked in my blog, as well as a solution.

  • Two Select lists with Submit single page branching to different page each?

    Hi all

I have a page (No. 1) with two 'select list with Submit"(A and B). This page contains also two branches defined. I want to realize that the first list selection with present (A) would always use the first branching (at page n ° 2) and the select list a second with the submit (B) would use the second fork (at page no. 3).

How can I achieve this? Y at - it a tutorial describing lists of selection and the ramifications?

    Thank you for your time.

When the selection list submits the page, the value of "motion" is the name of the selection list item. So all you need to do is add a condition to each Directorate-General: Request = Expression 1 and enter the name of the element (top) in the field of 1 the condition Expression.

  • Call the process via the selection list to submit page?

    Hello guys!

I have a quick question that I couldn't find any info on. Is it possible to appeal a process page using a pick with mailing list.
Instead of redirecting to another page on submit, I want to call a process that inserts data into a table.
    Any info is appreciated!

    Hello

Create process page after submit that do your things.

Create then creates a branch to the same page that is conditional to your selection list request.
Make sure that the sequence is before the other branch.

If necessary change page other processes and conditional validation to those who are not executed when select list send your page

  • display a loading icon on the selection list changes (submit page)

Hi there - we have a list with a bunch of values. On change, it is set to "Submit of Page" and there also some pl/sql running processes when the value of the list is changed. However, these processes take a long time to run. Wondering if there is a way to show a loading icon, it is executing. I know that this can be done by the intermediary of da I was wondering if there is a way to do this when we send defined page.

    Thank you!

This is another option, but you can think of this as the same Park ball like the use of a dynamic action

  • get the value of a selection list

I made a request and on a page, I have a selection list filled from a list of values (made with a sql statement select).
on the same page, I have a report made after a select statement.

How can I did... when I select an item in the selection list in the report show me the item that is selected in the select list

    example:
Select list: select name of EMP

    List of reports:
    Select * from emp;

When I click on the selection list and chose a name of the employee in the report show me the first name, middle name, address and everything in emp.

I tried to use emp.name = 'selectlist.value' and it gives me the invalid number.
tried with the selection list with submit but still without work.

can someone give me an ideea? How the current value of the selection list can be put in select condition of a statement or something to do all this?

  • Cascading - HELP selection lists

I still missed something in the samples I've seen on the internet at cascading selection lists
I just need a selection list to determine the choice of another selection list, use simple terms.
Thanks for your help. Please need as soon as possible.

    Hello

OK - first of all you must have an item hidden on page 2 that will receive the country code (I'll stick with my example, if that's ok)-say P2_COUNTRY_CODE.

Now create two selection lists - say P2_STATE_CODE and P2_CITY_CODE.

It helps if you check that the P2_STATE_CODE list is defined with a default value to ensure that the list can be filtered properly. Create a calculation, to run in the point of process "Before Header" and the conditional on P2_STATE_CODE is null (Type of Condition: the point in 1 Expression is NULL;) Expression 1: P2_STATE_CODE). The value of a "static allocation" of something that will not appear in the list (for example, ZZ for strings) or - 1 for numerical values. You can do this on the list of cities as well if you wish. The two lists must be defined to display null values and have something like - Select - like display null text.

Your list of States should be created as a Select list with Submit with a list of values based on a SQL statement:

    SELECT STATE_NAME d, STATE_CODE r FROM STATES WHERE COUNTRY_CODE = :P2_COUNTRY_CODE

Your list of cities is a list of select normal with a list of values based on a SQL statement:

    SELECT CITY_NAME d, CITY_CODE r FROM CITIES
    WHERE COUNTRY_CODE = :P2_COUNTRY_CODE
    AND (:P2_STATE_CODE = 'ZZ' OR STATE_CODE = :P2_STATE_CODE)

Now, when the user selects a country from page 1, the country code is spent in P2_COUNTRY_CODE before the loading of page 2. The default values for P2_STATE_CODE and P2_CITY_CODE are defined and the lists are generated - cities list will display all cities for the country selected as the list of States shows only the default value of ZZ and cela "corresponds to" all cities of the country. Then, when the user selects an item in the list of the States, the page is sent and the value of P2_STATE_CODE is updated in the session. As the list of cities is based on this value, when the page is reloaded, it will be updated to filter based on the P2_COUNTRY_CODE and P2_STATE_CODE values.

The only thing you need to ensure is that P2_STATE_CODE and P2_CITY_CODE are deleted from the cache when you have more page - you can do in the branch back to page 1.

  • APPLICATION of selection list

I developed a tabular form, based on a collection.
By selecting a value from a list of values by pressing a button, the collection is created and displayed.
Can be modified in the form and a "SUBMIT" button updates the collection and publishes the changes.

However, if the user changes the value in the select list and hit submit changes are applied against the wrong data set.

So, I want to be able to do is question one ASKS when the list is modified, which removes the underlying collection by using the existing, defined process.

Did someone came up with a way to show the REQUEST to start a process list select or any other method for triggering a process existing?

    Thank you

    Jon

    Jon,

Have you tried the item type, 'Select List with Submit'? This creates a list with the following attribute:

    onchange="doSubmit('P1_X');"

Where P1_X is the name of the selection list created. Therefore, when the user changes the selection list, the page will be presented with a REQUEST for the name of the element value, for example "P1_X".

You can then perform the processing of the page based on the value of the request.

    It will be useful,
    Anthony.

  • Select lists - remember values after submit not working not not in IE7

I have two lists of dynamic selection that are filled using .csv files.

To submit, a result set is returned from two options that have been chosen.

In IE7 when results are returned lists of selection by default back to the last option in the select list. I want to what ever option was chosen just as default value.

I use the code below and it works as I want only it in Firefox and Safari, but just default to the last option in the list for IE7.

The variable "actualLitType" is taken from the URL and should be part of the id of the selected option.

Any ideas why it does not work as I would like that it in IE7?

    Thanks in advance,

  • Select the list to submit to the needs of the situation call the function

I am very new to the Apex. I have an application that currently support only one place. I have a new page marked LOCATION point. I have all the locations defined in an Oracle table. The location element is defined as a selection with mailing list. I want to make is that if the place has chosen, I want the page to be submitted and filled with A location data. If I can pull down selection list and choose location B, then the page gets submitted and displays information on the location of B. I don't know how to do it.

    Thank you
    Patti

A selection with submit list is almost identical to a "submit" button. The only difference is that you can add a button to a page process, which will then do something (fill items on your page depending on the value selected in the selection list). You cannot add a select list of a process. What you can do is not to make a process according to a button but use a conditional processing / terms and use PL/SQL Expression like this:

    : ASK ('P1_SELECT_LIST', 'SAVE', 'CREATE')

  • How do the value in a selection list to a text field without submit?

    Hi all

I have a Select list that looks like:
    Select short_name | ' - ' || country d
    SHORT_NAME r
    of mo.eu_country
    order by 1

Then I have a text field (persons with reduced mobility, saved state).

What I want to do: when a country is selected in the list-> set the value of text field with the short name of the country from the selection list (short_name r).

Anyone know how I can get this done? (should I use AJAX?)

  • How to run to another page in a select list

    Hello

I am newbie to APEX. Our version of the APEX is 5.0.2. Currently, I have a 7 page, which displays a selection list, of which user selects an element of value and then supposed to be directed to another page 8.  But nothing happens once I've selected only one item, say, he's not going anywhere.  Please let me know how I can fix the problem.  Thank you very much!

Page 7, I turned "Go To Page 8" as:

    page7.PNG

And then to page 8, I have:

    page8.PNG

    Best regards

    Hello

Since you've already done this job, you probably realized that you need to add p7_study_name to Page elements field to submit and create a dynamic action related to this item (change), which updates the State of the list of sites.

If you want to go to another page, when you select the item in the list, follow these steps:

    (1) create a dynamic action on p7_study_name, the Change event.

    (2) create a real action, Action: submit the page, button of request/name MY_REQUEST (or whatever you want).

    3) go to the processing Section and create logic to your page target Condition: Type Request = value, value MY_REQUEST

    Hope that helps.

  • change the field type selection list of text based on the data in the other domain.

    Hello

We have a requirement where we are looking to display the page as element select list or a free text field based on the value of the item to another page.

    Say, we have two fields

    Day:

    Products:

If day = 'Monday' produced a drop in low field of another product would be a free text field.   Is this possible in APEX?

This is the configuration I did.

I used the field produced twice (as a text and list field select) as an element of a page., dependent on the value of the day I used the dynamic properties of actions to show/hide these fields.

However, when I click on submit, it throws an error:

    ORA-06550: line 1, column 108: PL/SQL: ORA-00957: name of column in double ORA-06550: line 1, column 13: PL/SQL: statement ignored

    Kind regards

    Satya

You can have both share the same database column, the process of the APEX DML does not know how to consolidate.

You will need to add a calculation and determine the real value based on two fields, up to an only one mapped to db.

  • Passing the value of the SQL query select list

    Hello

In my application users have in their homepage to a region which has two simple things, a part of LIST SLECT lov function and a BUTTON

There is also another page which has a normal life to report which shows the employees.

Homepage the user can select certain number of Department in its 'SLECT-LIST' and click 'open '.

For example: If the user has selected a DEP_NUM_5 and click on the BUTTON it will be redirected to the page of a report and gets only showed the employees belonging to the Department 5.

The report page contains a simple SQL query, and I understand that somehow I must pass the value in the SELECT LIST, where I now have the '?

How can I do this, where should I start?

Of course I would really appreciate an example of code, if anyone has time to do a.

    select "EMP_ID",
    "EMP_FORNAME",
    "EMP_SURNAME",
    "DEP_NUMBER"
    from EMP E
    where E.DEP_NUMBER = ????????

    Hi Sozua,

    1. create an item hidden on the page where you have the report.

    I say P2_DEPT_NO

2 assign to that in your sql query

    select "EMP_ID",
        "EMP_FORNAME",
        "EMP_SURNAME",
        "DEP_NUMBER"
        from EMP E
        where E.DEP_NUMBER = :P2_DEPT_NO

below the area source ther is also an option

Elements of page to submit-> put this element in this.

    for example;

    Page to submit items: P2_DEPT_NO

    3. change your button

Action: Redirecting to page of this application

Page: 2 / / assuming that page 2 is the report page

    Place these items: P2_DEPT_NO

with these values: & P1_SELECT_LIST.  assuming that selection list is on page 1

    Hope this helps you,

    Kind regards

    Jitendra
