extract audio from mp4 files

Hello

Is it possible to split the audio to a mp4 file in Labview? We have used the QT X active component to work with the video images but sees no way to work with the audio portion. We are looking to find the timestamp of a specific image in a mp4 file who is savvy to the audio segment of the mp4 file. Any suggestion would be appreciated. Thank you

Hey blewis333,

I don't think that there is an easy way to do it.  My best recommendation would be to find another piece of software that you can call via ActiveX.  I think that VideoCapX (http://www.fathsoft.com/videocapx.html) would be a good thing to look at.  If you can call this program through ActiveX, extract the audio in MP3 format, and then convert it to one. WAV file, I think you might be able to do what you're trying.

Other than that, I think that your best option is to ask if anyone else has been able to do and if they can share their solution.

Good luck with your application!

Best,

  • How can I extract audio from a movie stored on the Photos?

I have a new 6 iPhone more. Great phone and it records very well.

On my Mac, OS X 10.11.1 El Capitan

I used the phone and recently recorded a concert. I had a guy time to get the movies my phone is off. Is there a way to view the files from my phone directory?

I finally got the film in Photos. Now, I can't do anything with them. I want to extract audio from movies and a CD of the concert.

I found some third-party software, , but they cannot see the pictures.

Also, the movies seem to have maxed out my iCloud storage. Another problem, but related. What is the best way to store/backup these images on my computer so that they are accessible from the finder, and will not be removed by synchronization?

It is a bit nuts, IMO. Should be much more consistent and intuitive.

    Thanks for your help.

Export the photo sequence: file-> Export, export unmodified: Original

    It's all about Photos.

Further, use the Image Capture (in the Applications folder) for material like this.

As for extract the soundtrack. Open the movie in QT player and then export it in Audio-only mode

Export only the audio using QuickTime Player 10

QuickTime Player gives you the option to export and share only the audio portion of your video. To export only the audio portion of your video, you can open your video in QuickTime Player. Choose export from the file menu. Type a name in the field "export as. Then on the Format menu, choose 'Audio Only' and click on export

  • No sound/audio in MP4 files

Hi hoping someone here can help out - I use El Capitan 10.11.6 and the audio is missing some MP4 files that I downloaded from a GoPro camera. My sound is fine otherwise, output noise is fine, alert sounds are fine. MOV files off other cameras play well with audio easily here, but I don't hear anything in the files MP4 Quicktime, VLC, Final Cut Pro X, even if in Final Cut Pro X there is an audio waveform on each clip and they were converted to Quicktime using the MPEG stream clip (there no audible sound in the program either). I tried the same files on colleagues Mac running Mavericks and the sound is fine out there so here something to replace or reinstall?

You run the same exact file on El Capitan and the Mavericks?  Shouldn't be any change unless MPEGstreamclip has been defined to use some esoteric audio codec in the file.  First of all, there is no reason to convert the files off your GoPro.  FCPX will work with native files very well.

And, if you never convert, use the GoPro Studio app for this.  Nothing I do will have problems with the standard files.

We use GoPros all the time and didn't have any problems.  What are the settings on the GoPro cameras?

  • First (2015.3) any audio of mp4 files.

    G' day companions,.

I'm in a pickle, after the upgrade, first is more import my mp4 files audio... It's a little annoying to extract audio on another software that importers (audio only) in first. Anyone know what is happening?

    I thank or many.

    Hello

NO AUDIO IN TIMELINE AFTER UPDATE TO 2015.3. First Pro CC 2015.3 - YouTube

    Vinay

  • After the update, first any audio of MP4 files that I exported one day there first. Help, please!

I capture video games using Youtube channel for a game, been working on it for 9 months now. Today, I've updated my Adobe Premiere, I use capture software AND the K-Lite Codec pack. I shouldn't have updated three of them all at once. Argh! Now, first will not import the old footage I captured with D3Dgear. The videos were AVI1 files with Fast V2 of MPEG - 4 codec. I can deal with that.

This first is worse, and my biggest problem is, matter of mp4 files with audio files that I exported from first since last year. I use the "H.264 - HD Youtube720p" preset when exporting, as well as the audio is AAC Codec, 48 kHz, stereo. Why this can happen? How can I check / fix this?

    Any help will be appreciated.

    cansungur wrote:

Not a good idea. Should not be installed in the first place. Codec Pack are known to spoil the codec on your computer.

Folder rename images and try again.

  • Can I extract audio from video?

I want to extract the audio from a video, but I don't want to import the video to audition only. Can I do this?

    I'm working on Audition CS5.5

    Thank you!

    Hey guys,.

Maybe I'm misunderstanding here, but simply to open a video resource will give you this behavior. When a video resource opens in Audition CS5.5, we split the stream in the video and audio part automatically.

Yes, this means you have the video stream in your Panel files as well, but you can simply close or ignore it if you won't need it.

Audio can be edited and saved as a single audio resource just as he might the Audition 3 and earlier versions.

Please let me know if I misunderstood the goal here.

    Thank you

  • With the help of iTunes. How do I do the MP3 from mp4 files - using cds?

I had a cd I had ripped off music too - initially in iTunes mp4 files.

I put this cd in my computer and iTunes asked to import the files in.   He said that she already had these files, and I would like to replace them...   I said yes.

I was hoping that the origianl mp4 files would be replaced by MP3s from my cd - but it wasn't the case.   When I looked in my iTunes folder, to copy them to my sansa, replacement/new files were still all mp4s.

Currently, in iTunes, if I'm going in Edition > Preferences > import music... the frame is AAC Encoder.   If I change it to MP3 encoder, will be future air imported as MP3 files?  Or should I do something else?

    Advice would be much appreciated...

  • Extract Audio from video error

    Hello

Recently, I reformatted my computer.  Before I reformatted, I could extract the audio of a video without problem.  However, I now get this error message:

The selected file is not a supported video file format, or the video codec that is required to open this file was not found.

The message to any video format, I've tried, including .avi and .mpg,

I have the codecs for these formats installed.  Am I missing something else that is required for the hearing, to extract audio?

    Thank you.

There is actually someone who does this kind of thing to advise you - and this isn't me, I'm afraid. In many ways, you'd be better to ask the question on AudioMasters, because there is some video users.

Adobe have made it extremely difficult to use their forums now, and people are leaving in mass - as most advocates long-term hearing. To be honest, I have only to answer questions here because I'm a little sorry for the innocent people who post on this forum thinking they can get support - if it wasn't for a very small handful of us, there would be nothing at all. AudioMasters is an altogether better bet - more than anything, we have a little more together full hearing FAQ here that you will find nowhere else at all and we are approved by Adobe.

  • Help! I need to extract audio from a video to an audio file in my HARD drive

    Hello

I have a project that needs to me mastered (the audio part at least), and I need to extract the audio parts of my sequence in 'physical' files on my HARD drive, so I can load my project (with these separate audio files) on another computer where the control will be done... but I can't do it! .. is there anyway I can do this?

    Help, please!

    Thanks in advance...

    Al

You can select an avi clip and right click, then choose Edit in Soundbooth. This creates a wav audio file in the clip, with the same name as the video clip with "extract" added automatically.

Also, it replaces the audio in the sequence with the extracted file, but does not change the original item.

  • Unspecified error audio burning MP4 file on a CD - R

I used the iPhone app (iOS 8) voice to record memo ~ 45 minutes of audio and it synced to my Windows 7 PC. The size of the file is 19.1 MB. Windows Media Player 12 plays the file without problem. When I try to burn the audio on a CD - R, burning does not immediately work, and the error details dialog box says: "Windows Media Player has encountered a problem when burning the file to disk." I tried two different CD - r blank and get the same error twice. He has problems trying to burn the MP4 audio files using WMP 12?

    Thank you!

There are manu online for MP4--> MP3 conversion tools + you can use iTunes.

The new element in the root is 'InvoiceTransmission', so replace 'Lines' with it.

  • How to extract audio from video

    Hello

I want to extract the audio content in a video. So I open it and I try to export to aiff. Unfortunely QuickTime falls into a trap and I have to use 'The Force to quit'.

    Thank you for your help...

Sorry! I managed to do the same thing with quicktime player!

So far, my $ 35 invested for any purpose :-(

  • To extract data from a file previously misspelled

    I am trying to extract two tables of a previously written file, which contains two tables, separated by a tank/t. Files are saved in this format;

    Wavelength (nm)ower (W):

    * lambda1 * power1 *.

    * lambda2 * power2 *.

    ...

' lambda # "and" power # ' are the two numbers actually, but I wanted to illustrate that they are correlated.

In addition, with the retrieved data, I want to write a new file, which uses the information (in another port scan) to calculate a third value (called the EQA), which depends on the power and the current at a given wavelength. While the VI is the current reading by lambda, it should also be able to find what the lambda value to such power has been and calculate the EQE.

I have so far on the screws are attached. The third part of 'problem.vi' is locked in a while loop, while she repeats many times.

    Thank you very much
