  I have a user (say User1) who granted select access to motherlode via a role table

  User1 has a bunch of useful views created I want User2 to have access to the. User2 should have access only to these points of view, not to the underlying table.

  User1 can grant access to his point of view because it has no direct access granted to motherlode tables.

  I managed, based on a technique that I have for the most part, but do not entirely understand, give User2 access to data through a function. The solution is below.

  Don't bother with the pipeline and PL/SQL functions.  Everything will be easier, more effective and more reliable if you use only views.

  Privileges through roles do not create a view on a table in another schema.

  If user1 can create a view on motherlode.table_x, then user1 should have direct privileges already (or user1 must have a privilege of system as SELECT ANY TABLE).

  User1 needs the same privileges WITH GRANT OPTION in order to grant privileges on his point of view to User2.  To do this, have motherlode grant privileges to user1, like this:

  GRANT SELECT ON table_x to User1 WITH GRANT OPTION;

  GRANT SELECT ON table_y to User1 WITH GRANT OPTION;

  Repeat for each table that user1 uses in the views.

  Then user1 will be able to grant privileges on views to User2 like this:

  GRANT SELECT ON my_view_01 TO user2.

  This will NOT allow user2 directly see the motherlode.table_x.  User1 will have the power to give privileges to User2, but simply grant privileges on the view does not give User2 these privileges.

  If you don't want User1 to have this power, then create the views in the motherlode scheme, or create a new schema only for the putpose to own these views.

  Recently, I replaced a bad hard drive on my laptop. I need now step by step procedure to extract usable data from the wrong drive using 22 pins adapter usb to SATA on the new HD.

  NOTE: I can't not all data that especially if some of the software downloaded on the replaced disk can be altered. Should I first download Internet Antivirus to protect my new hard drive? I'm not an expert, or even close to this when you work on the back of the laptop, so I'll have to step by step how to download and to partition the data recoverable and software, etc..

  It is not complex. Attach the drive to the adapter and connect it to any other computer with good antivirus and antispyware installed. I use Malwarebytes and Avast. When you connect the adapter with the drive connected to the usb port, the drive will appear and it will be assigned a letter maybe E:\ or F:\ or something else. Immediately, he analyzes with the antivirus and anti-spyware. Quarantine or delete any virus or malware it finds. Then, it's just a matter of navigate the disk and copy and paste the contents of the host computer in a directory for this purpose. Obviously, you can copy from documents word, photos, music files, but you cannot copy the applications like Microsoft Word, iTunes.   We want to extract the data via "HsGetValue" for in < currency Parent > Child1, so need to entity to return node information: "Parent1.Child1." Works very well.

  Strangely enough, that's good, that the Parent2.Child1 data retrieves, although node do not exist!

  If you try it with ad hoc, an error message appears saying "Member does not exist", which is correct.

  Can someone check the BUG? If so, I'll open a SR.

  The function "Merge data in spreadsheet files" of Acrobat Pro is great, but there is a huge problem, I want to ask questions.   To learn how to add data to a spreadsheet, you need to look at the interface of Excel VBA.

  What you need to do is create a VBA Excel program, and then open the PDF file you want to process (or use the open PDF file). Then, extract the data from the form fields you are interested in and either create a new worksheet, if none are open, or add the data to the open worksheet. When adding, make sure that you know for sure that the format is correct (to keep adding data to a document that has nothing to do with your PDF form).

  How long it will take to create such a program depends on the experience of the implementation of the application. For a basic application, someone with experience can probably write something that works in a few hours, for someone to debut, it will of course much longer. Of course you can ask more questions here (in fact, in the forum of the Acrobat SDK kit) when you are stuck.

  My applications is form of oracle database level enterprise application and developing now the new module of ADF 11 g but there is restriction that all insert, update, and delete data will be through procedures oracle pl/sql. Now my question is that adf pages should be linked with ViewObjects based on the entity object or Viewobjects not based on entity / sql query. Currently, I have pages with programmatic ViewObjects that don't rely on entity objects, or on the sql query. In these display objects, I create transient attributes and then used to create pages in the adf. Click Save, I extracted the data of the current line of ViewObject and pass it to the procedure. It's works well but I was wondering if this approach is ok or it is better for it. Ideally, I would like to create from EntityObject ViewObjects but don't have not find a way to sync entityObjects with the data inserted through procedures.

  Hello, since I've updated for Firefox 27.0.1 on Windows 7, I have a problem with Reporting Services on a Sharepoint site. It is a site of Sharepoint 2010 with SQL Server Reporting Services 2012 Sharepoint integrated mode. I was already on Firefox version 26 and didn't meet with this problem.

  When a report is opened and you use the Actions link on the Reporting Services toolbar, I get the following error messages.

  An error has occurred with the extraction of data. Please, refresh the page and try again.

  I tried updating to the beta version of Firefox 28 but the same error occurs. I see that someone else is having the same problem here. http://SharePoint-community.NET/forum/topics/reporting-service-and-Firefox-27

  I'm the life-long tension using DAQmx scene, and I am puzzled as to how I can add new samples in an existing array of waveform.  Whenever I run my program, I receive only 1000 samples of data in the AnalogWaveformarray.  Because I need to do some calculations after each asynchronous reading, I wish I had the waveform table 'accumulate' data until the acquisition stops.  Then, I can trace the entire waveform.  Is this even possible, or do I just store the data in a WaveformPlot?  Any suggestion would be appreciated.  Thank you!!   Unfortunately, it seems that the AnalogWaveform data type has no the possibility of adding a waveform, mainly due to the uncertainty as how to manage with different timing waveforms.  In your case, since it is still the timetable, we should be able to piece together a solution.

  First of all, note that AnalogWaveform[] is an array of the data types AnalogWaveform returned by the function of data acquisition.  The table represents the number of channels that is to measure your task of acquisition.  This example I can give you is for a track, but you should be able to extrapolate in several channels.

  We must create a global variable of AnalogWaveform that will maintain the variable information.  Then, whenever your function will run, you must add the information of waveform at the end of the global variable.  Due to some restrictions in the type of data, we must do a few things to work around this problem, but hopefully the example code below is clear.  If it isn't, please answer any questions you may have.

  The data has been saved with a sampling rate of 1 Hz. After processing the data, they should look like this:

  Insertion of the NoValues in the data channel works very well with 'DataBlInsertVal '. But I'm having a hard time to achieve the same in the timechannel. Especially with a dependency on the sampling rate.
  Someone has tried to do the same thing or has some tips how to do this? The main objective is to avoid reporting to connect the data points on this chronological gap.

  I am able to extract specific data and establish a curve for the different Freqs (see "extract file_for email.VI pivot table).  I would like to help in order now to a parcel with a fixed frequency but different time (therefore field will be 3 Graphics: 25-30, + 70 for the same word of freq 136).

  This code gross works for any number of temperatures and allow for different sizes of each table (say that you measured 3 points to 1, temp and 6 points to another).  I strongly doubt this operation is necessary, but this is how the code works.

  Just drop the and connect the tables correctly loaded from your text file to place the controls in table I used.  (or you can wire up and use it as a subvi).

  Dennis has already said: for a direct PC - PC connection, you need a cross over cable. If you connect through a router or a switch, you use a standard cable.
