Fake or genuine?

I bought the battery at the top of the image on eBay, sold as 'True origin Dell battery'. Of course, it won't power my laptop XPS 14Z.

The bottom battery was original equipment in my laptop. Is the upper battery true or false?

They both seem to be of genuine Dell batteries.

If a new is not (but one) power system, return it for Exchange as being faulty.

If no battery powers the system, look at another cause fully - probably a bad mother.

    Hello lindaHale,

If you're talking about http://www1.uniblue.com/pc/ub/google/uniblue-offers/ so it's a real company. I have used their products and, I must say, I have not had problems with them.

Registry cleaners can be a sensitive issue. Some people advocate them and other don't. I much prefer to edit my registry manually if the need arise, but in order to do that you should know what you're doing. Registry cleaner Uniblue gives you a list of items, that he intends to remove it, so it's really a case to verify that the software is remove rather than 'hope' the software deletes the correct registry entries. This, of course, does not only apply to the Uniblue. Each market unique registry cleaner should have its files to delete 'before' giving it the go checked before making changes to the registry.

While I've heard of people having problems with the PC won't start not having used a registry cleaner (these are a registry cleaner, not just a specific), it is unlikely that a registry cleaner will damage your drive hard highlighy. As you have had the product for 2 years, I doubt that a court would support a refund. As most of the software I think 90 days are all too long that the warranty extends.

In what concerns the staff of Microsoft (and I'm not a Microsoft employee) causing "damage to innocent users and distress for fun", it's their job to help the user to not hinder their. If you have a complaint against a specific member of the Microsoft team can I suggestions you contact Microsoft customer in your country and bring the complaint to their attention.

  • Fake message Windows 7 not genuine microsoft essential security

    Hello

I got a fake message from my windows copy is not genuine microsoft essential security.

I used this original copy for more than a year.

    NEWS OF THE BONE;

    Windows 7 starter 32-bit

    Help, please.

    Khairi

The message from the microsoft security essentials program.

I re - activate my windows and successfully passed.

  • Non-genuine message of fake software

I upgraded from office of my wife from a normal HARD drive to an SSD drive cloning. The original software was an OEM installed Vista I had upgraded to Windows 7 Home Premium with service pack 1 and had run quite happily without any problems (it was a pack of three machine upgrade that always works well on the other two machines perfctly.).  Since that time immediately after startup, a message is flashed by informing that software is not genuine. I entered the product key, but that has not solved the problem.

I really don't want to have to re - install windows from scratch, because it means re - install all the programs as well. What can I do?

    Steve,

No answer to my question on the installation disc that you used, I can't offer any reasonable interpretation of the facts.  It was a Dell reinstall drive or was it an installation disc of [unbranded] generic?

I know that you are in New Zealand.  If I assume that you posted results MGA here as soon as you ran the utility MGA, your system clock is fast half-day.  If there is any difference between the MGA running and then display the results the system clock is even faster.  No calculations of jet lag can explain how the utility MGA reported Trusted time at 08:47:29 10/02/2016 because even now it is, in my view, 09/02/2016 19:24 for you.

    'only' means only.

Dell started putting CoA labels in the compartment to batteries from their notebooks several years ago.  The only labels that they leave on the bottom are black sheet [model number, voltage, the markings of conformity] and their own white label showing the serial number.  I'm surprised that they do not for your.  Just on the off-chance that this part of the thread was a misunderstanding, it's what looks like a typical Dell CoA label [yours should say Pro instead of Home prem]

If your unreadable label does not resemble, look in the battery compartment.

  • Message "Non-genuine Windows" & Windows Update does not work after replacing the RAM.

    Hello

I have a PC desktop HPE-170 a current running Windows 7 Home Premium SP1, which has been installed on the machine by the store where I bought it. It has been properly activated and has worked very well for 18 months or more.

The other day it decided to not start and a computer savvy friend corrected the problem by removing the RAM memory cards, clean the gold plated connectors and re - insert the. This fixes the problem and it started again.

Today I received a message on the computer of Microsoft saying "your copy of Windows is not genuine" and he invited me to "solve online. Well, click on the 'My Computer' icon showed me that windows was still active.

By clicking on the "solve Online" link took me to a validation page, where after she tried to validation, it says "The Validation failed" and advised me to buy another copy of Windows 7 HP for AUD $149. Gee, thanks, but no thanks Microsoft. I clicked on cancel and the non-genuine message has not yet reappeared.

I also found now that Windows Update doesn't work that way.

I rang MS that says that I need the Windows 7 Setup disk. When I said that I don't have one, they advised me to ring HP. I didn't have time to complete the phone call from HP, but I believe that HP wants me to reset the system to factory with them State guide me by phone.

I have a genuine copy of Windows, a product key, and it shows as activated.  From what I understand the system think that I tried to put my copy of Windows 7 on a new computer or similar? I'm not sure.

Is it really difficult to get the system works just like before?

    Thanks for the reply.

I'm afraid I don't understand your instructions. I think that you are a fair way waiting for me in the issues of tech savvy.

I think I have stumbled upon something here; http://support.HP.com/us-en/document/c02219204

Download and update this driver seemed to do Windows Update includes itself.

I can now go here; realwww.microsoft.com/ /validate/ and he says: "Welcome to Windows".

I hope I now get no more fake messages on my OS Windows is non-genuine.

    I'll see what happens tomorrow.

    Hello!

Ive moved my printer around the apartment because of a renovation of the room of my son. When I put it now on the site its going to be and set the power sur-soudain there is a message that one of the inkcartrige is false and that the guarantee goes 2 expires if I do not put another in his place. I've bougth all my inks in Mediamarkt and they R HP real all the brand of ink cartridges and I do not understand wy its an inkcartridge which is almost exhausted anyway to complain? And why he alone complains of them? They should all be fake, or none. Ive never used fake ink and hate being called a cheater by my only * beep * printer!

    Mallory,

The most common problem after programming of weird - something of an operator error, to a certain extent, at least.

    All's well that ends well.

Change the cartridge, a friend.  The smile.

Nevertheless, the point was well taken.  The wording of the message could have been presented differently - instead of 'false', the message might have something of the order of 'non-authentique Possible HP cartridge detected.  The message "non-genuine" is perhaps too easily misunderstood, given the circumstances, but perhaps less likely to insult the owner degree "Hey, Fake here cartridge!

I did state of the instance, and there was a spark of interest on the hearing thereon.  If the interest favours a change anytime soon is difficult to say - all change is a huge pile of money.

I bought a copy of Microsoft Windows XP Professional on Ebay where it is said that this drive has never been used.  The drive was a full version, not an upgrade.  I installed the drive and received a message that my drive was not a genuine copy of Microsoft Windows XP Professional.  If I have the disc and the product key, how can I do to get my computer to recognize the genuine software?

I want to download Genuine windows XP to reinstall windows, where can I download it from? Need help. TQ.

    Hello

Please note that the Windows XP operating system is not downloadable anywhere, if this is the case, it is more likely a fake software. In addition, please note that Microsoft no longer sell and distribute Windows XP. In this case, you can check local retail stores if they still hold a copy.

  • Check if windows 7 is genuine or not.

HI, I'm trying my best check if my windows 7 is genuine or not. I have download microsoft software to verify the validity, but it gives an error. Kindly tell me that now, how can I check this?

I don't think there is a problem with RemoveWAT, George - is only one of 3 normal errors seen in such cases.

I am wary of the SLIC table, however - it does not seem to match the rest of the BIOS, and from what I see the 7515CTO bundled with Vista.

I find unbelievable that anyone would voluntarily pay for 4 individual licenses for Office applications, rather than buying a copy of Microsoft Office, which would provide all there (and more) for a lot less money - and they all seem to be Volume licenses.

Overall, I suspect that this machine is installed fakes from the bottom to the top - the COA sticker would certainly be able to call me a liar :)

You can visit CDW.com, Tiger Direct and new eggs.

You should give up on the retail packaging, because they will carry a premium.

    OEM packages are recommended.

Because Windows 7 is in limited stock because Microsoft ended sales in October 2013, this created demand due to its rarity. This means the retail boxed copies request a bonus, while the OEM System Builder copies remain affordable.

-OEM Licenses are tied to the computer first you install and activate it on

-OEM versions allow all hardware upgrades except for an upgrade to a different model motherboard

  • My copy is not genuine, or is it a virus?

    Hey everybody!

I paid what I still believe to be a professional to install Windows 7 on my system, and it has worked great for over a month now. However, this morning a small balloon pops up saying "Windows is not genuine. Click this message to find out how to get a real '. And my desktop image transformed into a simple black with the words "this copy of windows is not genuine" stamped on the bottom right. The terrible grammar in the bubble makes me think it's a virus and not that I have been scammed by my computer guy. I'm terrified to click on the message. I do run all my virus scanners (etc.) and to come clean and am support upward once again just to be sure.

    So, what do you think?

My computer is infected or just not authentic?

It may be a virus. Try to download Malwarebytes (http://www.malwarebytes.org). It catches most of the fake antivirus and fake security alerts. If this does not work, you could have gotten a non-legit version. But, if the grammar is bad, it may very well be a virus. • Fake copy of Windows 7 (Home Premium)

    Good afternoon

It's time for me to reach out to the Microsoft community, about 2 weeks ago, that my copy of Win 7 Home Premium has failed. My copy of Windows 7 Edition Family Premium is a legitimate copy and all the programs that I've always bought a copy is legitimate if it Microsoft Office, XP, 7 or even 8, to avoid any problems. Now, my version of Windows 7 Home Premium is the same on my laptop and my desktop, using the same product key, my laptop now errors saying that I have a counterfeit copy of Windows 7 and is not a copy authentic, even try to reinstall from the same primary drive will not accept the product key. It is simply outrageous that we are making an investment in our computers and in this case, and we cannot even go back to Microsoft. I am so frustrated that it happened and have run out of ideas on what to do and I can't afford to buy a new copy of Windows 7 and DO NOT in Windows 8. Can I do to have my laptop about how it wasn't pop ups saying that my copy of Windows is not genuine and it's fake? Any help would be greatly appreciated
    Thank you!!

However, the requirements for the media upgrade is that you have an operating system already eligible such as Windows XP or Vista installed to use it. Since the Windows 7 end user license agreement.

15 UPDATES. To use upgrade software, you must first be licensed for the software that is eligible for the upgrade. After the upgrade, this agreement takes the place of the agreement for the software that you upgraded. After upgrade, you can no longer use the software that you upgraded.

So, if you are always denied, you will just have to reinstall Windows XP or Vista and let it do the verification of eligibility.

Please run the Microsoft Genuine Diagnostics Tool then copy and paste the results into an answer here for further analysis:

  • My 3 windows machines all have product installed from their own records, HOW fake ID?

I had huge problems the ast two years with system hostage. Nobody believed me if Microsoft has identified a problem, well, left me stuck! I hae a seven 32-bit bought vista Toshiba laptop 07, desktop Dell purchased Aug/sept 09 and a seven of Home premium purchased Acer Windows 7 64-bit 10. I keep get unidentified network. losing connectivity and last stop on the my network card Dell had an extra tab with among others a dialogue box that says allow non authenticated networks, if I have not activated this box I lose network connectivity. There is a lot more history on this but as it's a forum 7. I will deal with the ACER that has home premium 7 64-bit. My Acer has been the same losing regularly access and features, then 8 weeks ago it lost its image and was referred to Acer warranty. They returned with a new hard drive. I just had to finish setting up installation it is reactivated. Then windows update does not work, I asked Microsoft to their application process for assistance. I got an e-mail from a technician of Microsoft in the United States, after several attempts to correct without success, she asked me to run a SFC scan and him send the CBS. I duly did and she answered saying contact support for windows 7 from microsoft in the United Kingdom. I did later, after going round in circles whenever I got at the reception, that they wanted to put me through to security to check the virus, I kept telling them that I do not have a virus. My machines are diverted using legitimate microsoft tools, I case can't know how but I know they are. Anyway, eventually I talked to an 'expert' 7, he looked at the newspaper cbs and who told me that I was not running genuine windows software, HOW THE * if the it came from the factory with a new hard drive. The SFC scan will only complete 99%. He told me to use my disks supplied with the machine and reinstall. I had not all disks (Acer provide as a matter of course). So I duly sent to the disk and he told me that if I wanted that it would contribute to format my machine and install correctly. On the property page for my computer, I couldn't see the product ID, which showed was the OEM product ID and ease of sytem info did not, however I have AVG tune up on my machine and it has a similar feature and he was able to show me not only OEM but as well the windows product ID. The product ID was not on my machine, I hought Hall * lujah to the last number. I went on my dell don't have reinstall a suit of the disc and checked the ID of the product (using AVG tune up) and it wa wrong too! I did the same with my Toshiba exactly the same thing. HOW CAN I DO a REINSTALL FULL ON different mac, hines and they reinstall a fake Windows ID and I used records of origin provided by the manufacturers themselves. In any case to the ACER a few weeks back I got ACER discs I paid £51 for and did a fresh install, why I did it's simple, I contacted Saurabh on 7 press repeatedly telling him I had the drive, but he ignored me. When I did the new OEM installation was the 'bad' OEM again, and he does not feel again. A few days later, I ran SFC again and he found files corrupted, but said it had repaired them. I have e mailes Slim with my cbs log and emphasizing the wrong OEM and yold he me my system was running fine! ?? I have sent e several times since. Now that he told me was put microsoft esentials on my machine it is the best well produced I am sorry to say that it has failed and WF kept getting amended to allow remote-access areas and various programs through the firewall, I did it! I'm on my second reinstall Acer and I put AVG back tune and guess what I've got illegal product ID I ran SFC and he returned with corruption cases and others that he couldn't fix it. I have e mailes Saurabh last night, but no answer yet! I have no 2005 c ++ installed even if it was and if I remember what AVG told me that my computer is at risk without it (I have 2008 c ++ installed). If you allow me, I know it's vista but I would like to come back to the Dell because I came across something interesting last night. When I bought the dell I had taken his retirement through ill health and he is / was a great machine costs about £1, 2 k, but missed me 1 day, I had dell come and install it and there was a lack of driver form the diskette, the technician that installed in my house was able to download , within two weeks, I had him bak, because I knew that something was wrong, I thought that even in this case, my system has been hijacked, two weeks later I had him back and had the card because I had seen a lot of activity during the night system event where my machine was not on wireless. I had numerous phone calls with the Dell support staff, they even managed to erase the image on the Dell! I'm sure that on the notes for my account, I have a black spot. Anyway yesterday I started another reinstall progrem first of the drive on the Dell, and the DELL that contains drivers and resources Dell Software Center. Before going any further, I have instructed Security Task Manager, and he scored the Dell "failed" CD and a high risk rating. When I watched the news of rating provides this security task manager it said that wa the bad drive for my system disk is how I read it in any case. I say two years my machines were diverted by the network and I share all my machines they re all together to the public profile or the boot. I am more convinced that never boots on my macine are corrupt, otherwise how can I load o/s that are correct from disks/factory settings? Provided by Acer Windows 7 discs direct home I paid just for them, unyet when I do a full erase of the data and reinstall I'm reinstallinga corrupted windows product ID HOW? I know what is happening, it helps a person remotley to access my machines, then they install legitimate windows of tools to support. After all if the used softwatre is a legitimate windows software, windows is not going to pick this up, is it? I need help please, the technician windows 7 gave me. Reference Dell thinks I'm nuts, BT my ISP think I am wrong because I keep saying my netwrok is hijacked. I now eveidence, I thought would solve my problem. I thought that Microsoft would want to fnd a solution to a (?) method may be very unusual to hack, new but they do not want to know. And could I close by saying how worried I'm over here, who has hijacked my system did not do anything of my Bank, there has been no identity fraud so it makes no sense? Unless of course, it's csomething like a fraud or pedophile ring using my machines to process jobs anonymously. I thought to go to the Police, but that I do that I tell my machines are diverted, but none of the providers think so? My first proper job in 1974 was like acomputer operator on a mainframe gianICL, I got a PC since 1981 when I had an amstrad 500, I project managed workflow DIP in the middle of the 1990s and on the internet at home for 97 but I'm not a geek, but I know I'm right, but for the moment all the manufacturers including Microsoft and want to know. I can't take any of my machines all have Group Policy Client running on them. Someone help please I need someone who can reinstall help me stop the remote access and in the case of ACER how to change the activation key, there is no installation on the property page, but it is on the Toshiba and Dell apologies for typos it took awhile to type and try to make it readable thanks Alan
