Problem of sudden fake ink.

Hello!

Ive moved my printer around the apartment because of a renovation of the room of my son. When I put it now on the site its going to be and set the power sur-soudain there is a message that one of the inkcartrige is false and that the guarantee goes 2 expires if I do not put another in his place. I've bougth all my inks in Mediamarkt and they R HP real all the brand of ink cartridges and I do not understand wy its an inkcartridge which is almost exhausted anyway to complain? And why he alone complains of them? They should all be fake, or none. Ive never used fake ink and hate being called a cheater by my only * beep * printer!

Mallory,

The most common problem after programming of weird - something of an operator error, to a certain extent, at least.

All's well that ends well.

Change the cartridge, a friend.  The smile.

Nevertheless, the point was well taken.  The wording of the message could have been presented differently - instead of 'false', the message might have something of the order of 'non-authentique Possible HP cartridge detected.  The message "non-genuine" is perhaps too easily misunderstood, given the circumstances, but perhaps less likely to insult the owner degree "Hey, Fake here cartridge!

I did state of the instance, and there was a spark of interest on the hearing thereon.  If the interest favours a change anytime soon is difficult to say - all change is a huge pile of money.

Thanks for your post!

I have the worst time to find this problem of mine. I use Lightroom 4 and CS3 to edit and print photos. All of a sudden all my color photos began to have these whitish bands light running each print. On color photos. Apparently, when I print a black and white photo quality is perfect. Naturally, I thought that the question was of the printer. So, I contacted Canon (I use a mg6320), and they sent me a new printhead - does not solve. New ink cartirdiges - does not solve it. And then finally a brand new printer - that still does not solve the problem!

When I use one program other than Adobe, printing is perfect. So WHY when I print by Lightroom 4 or 5 (I downloaed the test to see if it was just a question 4) or Photoshop cs3 I get these bands? It's driving me crazy. As I told all of a sudden started out of the blue...

I have attached a scanned copy so that you can see...printbands.jpeg

I tried so many different setting in LR all with the same results. There is a general faded to look at the pictures as well. On my screen this photo is much darker with less overexposed areas. ???

Any help will be greatly appreciated!

It seems to me that if you have your print quality setting in the driver of your printer the standard value or project rather than set for best picture. This setting should be changed in your printer driver which is accessible from the button in the lower left corner of the screen when you are in the print module.

  • Problem with printer or ink system failure

I have a HP Officejet 6600, and I get this message:

"There is a problem with the printer or ink system.  Turn the printer off, then on.  If the problem persists, contact HP. »

Well, I did it.  I have also run the hardware diagnostic tool, which had me unplug the printer and turn it back on, and I did it a couple of times.  I always get the error message.  I also took printhead of the printer and put back them in.  Does anyone have a solution that might be able to share with me for this problem?

    Thank you

My problem was solved by the link in the first reaction after my post. I tried power downs and plug the tire, but following this post EXACTLY... worked. The method of pulling on the power cord of the printer with it cleared the error message and everything has worked perfectly since

  • Problem with color HP ink cartridge

    Title edited for clarity>

I have a HP j4680 printer.  I get a massage saying: [Tri-Color] ink cartridge problem refer to device documentation to troubleshoot.    I don't know what that means.  If I take the color out, the message stop cartridge and I can print in black.  If I put it back in it does not print and gives me the same message.  I really struggle with computers so any help must be step by step.  Don't assume I know that even the simplest things.  I just found out that I don't even know which category to select below.   I've seen windows and internet explorer on my screen so I guess that windows.  My son set up and I click on firefox to start.

As error messages go, that one is pretty clear.  This means that there is a problem with the color cartridge.  For troubleshooting tips, see here--> http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/document?docname=c01818839&tmp_task=solveCategory&cc=us&dlc=en&lang=en&lc=en&product=3692888

Assuming that this is not a newly installed color ink cartridge, and even assuming that it's a real cartridge HP of the appropriate type for your printer, start by "step 3: clean the contacts ' to the page linked above.

I had done this several times as well as other things that HP troubleshooting suggested.

I see that you get an error on the printer or ink system and made the suggested troubleshooting already. I'd be happy to help and find a document for you to review to make sure that you have tried everything: HP OfficeJet Printers - resolve the error 'Problem with ink system'.

  • HP 901 ink cartridge: should I fake ink cartridges?

I recently bought a few ink cartridges which have been described as authentic, but on a thorough inspection could be false.

Basically, they were sent without the boxes which was OK, as they say it was to save on postage costs, but now I wonder if the real reason is because there is no real security seal on the box and maybe even an old expiry date. (Still sealed) aluminum foil packaging printing is blurry and bad quality compared to a known genuine replacement cartridges that I have which is perfectly clear.

The photo below is the two in comparison, the top is received, the bottom is known real.

Is there an HP expert who can confirm its status of this please? If it is false, there will be no problem to use it or should I try and return?  Thank you.

No, they don't cause any damage. But I'm glad to see you used the Forums to find answers.

Hi there JanePr, welcome to the Forums!

I understand that you see an error message on your Photosmart C310a on the ink cartridge is missing or damaged. The print head may have a problem that could trigger this error. I have a troubleshooting guide that I recommend that follow you, however, if you have already tried no steps, ignore them, as the replacement of the cartridge.

Have 'obsolete' HP PSC 1410 All in One

Always had HP Solution center which I did more.  IT seems that there was an update of software and no tab displays ink levels.  I printed sheet test that was worthless.

Customer support says that they have no support or the pilot of this old machine.  I have my original disks, but my computer will not allow him to run because he has XP

Please let me know if there is a way that I can see my ink levels or to get around this problem

    Thank you!!!

If you have not already installed for this printer, and then try to download and install the latest drivers for the PSC 1410 all-in-one on the HP site.

These can be found here. There is also a document located here, with information on how to check this model of printer ink levels.

If you have already had a previous driver for this printer is installed, you will need to uninstall the old software and install the latest version.

Let me know if you are able to view ink levels with software installed from this package.

Another possibility is that the cables are loose. Remove ALL power, then make sure that the cables in both
ends. Remove and replace, do not just tight. For laptops, you can often clean power and
contacts data with a pencil eraser.

Some DVD players do not use the Windows default drivers so check with the manufacturer of system and
manufacturer of device to see if there is a firmware or drivers for your drive if necessary.

    ===============================

Step 2: You have disc problems as the CD/DVD is actually 4 discs in 1 case (CD & DVD

    do it right.

Did you follow the Troubleshooting Guide for the reader who still does not work? There are
the entries in registry that the troubleshooter does not solve and those who "might" be the cause.

Check with your Maker system and a device for the two possible firmware updates and the
correct registry entries for your car.

Here are the keys that I of course are those in question - for the subkeys of the CD/DVD drive

  • Problem cartridge Photosmart C6380 ink cartridge appears to be missing or damaged

When I installed a new cartridge black HP, after the existing black cartridge HP showed no black ink on paper, the message on the screen says "Ink cartridge problem - the following ink cartridges appear to be missing or corrupt" and indicated that the black cartridge was at fault.  I tried an another new cartridge HP black and had the same result.

I can't use the print head clean installation/tool while the message remains.

I have reset the printer (several times) by unplugging the power cord from the printer, while the power was on, wait at least 30 seconds and then reconnect the power cord to the printer.  All to nothing does not.

Any help you can give me would be much appreciated.

    Thank you.

After having tried many suggestions from the Forum, including cleaning the printhead twice, I abandoned all hope and withdrawn for all connections of my Photosmart C6380 and instead, began to investigate other (not HP) printers.  A few days later (I'm slow nine material selection!), I thought I would connect my printer to my computer for one last try.

    AMAZING RESULT!

The printer has recognized all the cartridges HP 5 as he had already said that the (new) black cartridge is missing or empty.  It then proceeds automatically to clean and align the cartridges, taking more than 10 minutes in the process, and finally it print a sheet showing that the printer was working again.  I had to restart the computer before I could print normal leaves.

It seemed to me that the printer for a long period of isolation meant the printer lost recorded "information" and so had to start again.

  • C410a printer and all of a sudden black ink stopped printing?

I never received a warning indicating that the black ink cartridge ran low. all of a sudden I tried to print and nothing came out on paper. not even a shade of ink. So I replaced the black cartridge and it STILL will not print. I've tried everything. cleaning and everything. What is wrong with him? GGRRR

Never mind. I finally got it to work. I continued to do a cleanup on it... again and again and again... and printing a test page. Finally, it started printing. I think it was clogged somewhere.

  • : Wacom Photoshop CC various problems with Windows of ink is enabled.

First, plug: 2015 CC Photoshop Windows 10, Wacom Cintiq 24HD; all the drivers/software up to date.

After a month + no problem, working regularly, after upgrade Windows 10, my dies of Cintiq pressure sensitivity. When I go in the Photoshop Brush Panel and try to use control: pen pressure, there is a little /!------ next to the option. So I determine that Photoshop does not see the pen like a pen at all. I do some fault-finding and find the recommended response is: activate "Windows ink" in the tab "Calibrate" Wacom tablet properties.

It works! I'll come back to Photoshop and start to draw, and that's all working well. Up to what I'm trying with the right button (mapped to my pen back button). He regular-clicks and now I cannot use the context menus at all. I go back to the Tablet Wacom properties and try to change the function of the button. everything else seems to work very well. So the button itself is not broken, nor its functionality of mapping in general. only the right click. I do some fault-finding and find this solution: disable "Windows ink" in the tab "Calibrate" Wacom tablet properties.

So now it seems that I can choose if I want the sensitivity to pressure, or right-click capabilities. Any ideas to fix as well?

Thanks in advance for any help!

Annoying to follow up my own message so quickly, but I did some research autour and seem to have found the solution. I hope my experience can help anyone else having this problem.

Go to Control Panel, display the Tablet PC settings.

This is probably not necessary, but I include it in any case, just in case: Click on the "Setup...". button in "configure." Make Cintiq tablet screen.

Click on for the 'other' tab 'Go to Pen and Touch' link. This will open a separate panel 'Pen and Touch'.

Checkbox next to: "use the stylus as the equivalent of the right click."

    Click apply.

  • Problem with the black ink. Copy in black, but will not print in black.

I have a Officejet 6500 wireless. It is about 1 1/2 years.  In recent months, is no longer prints black BUT will be exemplary in black.  When I print a test page for the printer from the computer options, it is a greenish color.  If I print a page of test from the HP site... it prints black.  I read a yest blog that allowed me to determine that it was a problem with the driver, not the ink cart.  I have installed and reinstalled the software, but that did not fix the problem.  Any suggestions?

If you are certain that you have the correct number of series, there are really not much that we can help you here. You can try to download and install the latest version of Lightroom 2. This will be the trial version, but when the trial screen there is an option to indicate that you have a serial number. Either way, Lightroom serial numbers start with the four first digits being 1160.
