• Computer for Premier Pro high-end gaming: how much is too much?

  Up to what level the first Pro can take advantage of the features of a high-end gaming computer? I like create, render and burn Blu Ray shows large and considering the purchase of a new computer game with 32 GB of RAM, an NVIDIA GTX TITAN X 12 GB video card and Intel Core i7 5930 K 3.7 GHz processor. However, I won't buy more power that the Premier Pro can put to work to help me create more quickly and return shows. If you want to go with the i7-5960 X, first can use all 8 cores. first is not able to go above 32 hearts (64 with hyper-threading), because of his programming software limits. 32 GB of memory should be plenty. If you are planning several other memory intensive programs open at the same time, you can go with 64 GB. the gtx x titan probably will not help that much, unless you do a lot of effects gpu & plugins and/or 4 k projects the ti-980 gtx is about 10-15% slower but much cheaper. the 970 gtx is a lot cheaper and would be fine with 1080 p projects and lite 4 k.

  Since I bought Windows 8 Pro for my Gaming Office all I have is having problems with the game, like Midtown Madness 2 allows to get as stable 60 fps but now on windows 8, I'll have 3 to 10 fps and GTA IV gets like 8-24 FPS on this graphics card high end and why Windows 8 Pro becomes extremely low FPS on my games compared to Windows 7 which had no problem who worked as its supposed to work. and it is a High Spec computer to run all games maxed out with all the problems of lag, but for some reason, there are problems of lag. I had uninstalled the graphics drivers in the control panel and start in SafeMode with Fusion driver to remove the remaining data from pilot and I reinstalled the last chart and without success, I always get problems.

  my processor is an AMD Phenom II X 6 1100t, graphics card: Sapphire AMD Radeon HD 7970, 16 GB DDR3 1333 Mhz Ram my computer cannot be low power!

  Actually my problem is solved now. what I did to disable Hyper-V in windows features. Windows 8 is now faster than windows 7 in games or even better.

  You can try Dan-Isaac SD2HD workflow. I tried with some 480 x 720 SD footage and enhanced it to HD 1440 x 1080. I was really impressed; He remained remarkably crisp and clear. It certainly blows nothing first or After Effects can get out of the water (although the scale has been much improved in CS5).

  This workflow uses also completely free, open-source tools. But, it takes some time to get used to.

  1. download and install VirtualDub

  2 download and install Avisynth

  3 download SD2HD

  In the hd2sd_sd2hd.zip folder, there will be a file .txt with installation instructions. After everything is installed, create a new text document. Type sd2hd("SD_Master.avi") with SD_Master being the name of your file. It will be top of the range your video to 720i by default; to change the various parameters of this start, you can use in SD2HD.txt in the hd2sd_sd2hd.zip folder. Then save the file in the same folder as your video with .avsextension. Then, open this file in VirtualDub.   I have an old Z400 (Gen 1 with 6 DIMM) and I was wondering what improvements I could do up the system at its highest?

  In other words, I guess CPU is going to either the Xeon w3690 or x 5690 would be the CPU I could buy for the high-end system.

  But what about RAM, I can assume that 48 concerts is the largest capacity (6 x 8 GB of DDR3 @ 1333)?

  Also, it would be possible to start on a m2 as the Samsung 950 (using a PCIe adapter)?

  The extent of the SSD go, would need to buy another adapter PCIe to SATA III @ Gbps (if I bought something like a Samsung 850 Pro)?

  Also further than go spare parts, a DH-15 Noctua coolers would fit in the frame (I guess I must remove the envelope plastic on the RAM slots)?

  Finally, someone has already tried something like a x 5690 overclocking? If so how high were you able to push (while remaining stable 24 x 7).

  You will find lots of info here, and the best way to start is to use the search box at the top left on this page, because it targets this forum only.  For example, use it to find assignments like THIS.

  You will find also information about the two major versions of the Z400 and you probably not a motherboard of generation 1 (I call it Version 1, and there are 2 Version If you have the second major version of the Z400).  The latter is what you have, if you really 6 instead of 4 media memory.  View on the first tab in the BIOS boot block date is another great way to say... it is 10/11/09 if you have Version 2 and 30/01/09 if you have Version 1.

  AVID has a PDF on the Version 1 or Version 2 here.

  You must read on Mainstream versus Performance heatsink thermal / fan for the Z400... that's all.  Most Z400s came with Performance that can handle hot 130W x 5690 max TDP processors.  That's what I'm running in our Version 2 Z400s here.

  Update to the latest version of the BIOS in a first time.

  Memory... this German company talks about Version 2 of 6 locations such as being able to run 6 x 8 GB for 48 total sticks, and they sell them too...  HERE. I have not tried and probably we certain that 8 GB sticks that work best for this.  Search this forum and let us know with a post to follow up if you do this.

  Google "Z400 spare parts" for the list of what HP they are available and some part numbers.  For the X 5690 used on eBay search this place for its code unique sSpec SLBVX.  It works very well.

  I guess it depends on what you want to do.

  If your PC does not have an HDMI video port, you can add a video card with HMMI.

  If you want more than that, so I guess you want to install another audio card.

  I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but there is really no way to do what you want to do.

  Here's why.

  You currently have 320 pixels and you want to show the 1920 pixels. This means that the software must do six pixels of a pixel that you provide. He basically has to duplicate them. He can do a little better with a mix, possibly using the current engine CC in Photoshop to do the job instead of Premiere Pro.

  Then, he must take 240 in 1080 and it's 4.5 pixels for everyone that provide you.

• High-end non apple headphones does not properly with iPhone7

  I just bought the new iPhone 7 and discovered that my ear Bowers & Wilkins do not seem to be compatible with my new phone.  The sound works fine but the microphone and stop working after a pause control more then a few minutes.  I thought it was a question of headphones, so I have replaced, but still the same issue.  So for example I connect my headset into the adapter (supplied by apple), launch my music application, press play on the phone and the sounds of beautiful high definition comes out.  I can then press pause on the microphone control, press a second time to play and it works fine as do volume adjusters.  However, if I press pause and wait a few minutes, the remote control on the speaker cable does nothing.  The sound still works if I hit 'play' and 'pause' on the screen.  As soon as I unplug the headphone jack and plug back in, the remote works again, until I pause for a longer period.  It seems to stop responding when asleep screen and pause mode.  I disabled the screen lock to see what is happening.  Now pause mode for more than five minutes, the remote works but the screen stays on!  If at this stage, I turned off the screen (paused).  Two minutes later, distance mic and controls do not work.  So certainly associated with iPhone screen go to sleep.  Does anyone else have this problem or the solution.  This problem will not occur on the iPhone from my friend 6.

  Just to let you know that my Macbook Pro has a minimal dust inside the unibody shell.

  Most dust internal preventing the proper heat dissipation accumulate in the fins near MBP fan extraction or amateurs (model 13 "has only one). Exhaust fans speed will increase as necessary to achieve their reduced capacity to dissipate heat. If that does not work, the next thing that happens is that your Mac will automatically reduce its processor demand so that it produces less heat which must be dissipated. If this still fails to keep temperatures limits, the Mac will just stopped on its own. Excessive dust should be removed, but it is better to have Apple or a FSAA do, due to the high probability of damage should you decide to do this yourself.

  Please be advised that fan of higher speeds tend to exacerbate the dust because moving to a greater volume of air per unit of time only tends to draw in additional dust. It's one of the reasons for the third system hacks that bypass the cooling system of the Mac should never be used.
