  I have a site that I have developed with dreamweaver and I recently tried to add ice to allow my users more easily updated (before that they use wordpress pages limited)

  When I try to register the site with my ftp information I get the following error message when I try to record... before this i have tested the site connection (using the 'test' button) and it works OK

  The message I get is something like

  "an ftp error occurred. a test file could not be copied into the directory of the specified host.

  your ftp user cannot... "

  I checked the root directory, and that's right. the user name and password I provided for ftp is exactly htat I use for access to the dreamweaver site

  This is a bug of InContext Editing that has been resolved internally and it will be available in the next version of service.

  The bug appears when the ftp user has access to the default ftp directory and the directory root (/)

  Until the fix is available, you can add the full path of the directory of the host. There is a workaround solution that will allow you to use the service.

  OK, I got some kind of virus this kind of thing where it was like a fake antivirus, fortunately I knew and got rid of him and everything seems to work fine except that whenever I try to watch something on netflix, I get this error. He said essentially that inprivate browsing is turned on and that it cannot play the video. Then I tried to disable Inprivate more through the registry. However it still gives me the error.

  After that, I found something that said it could be silver light. Now I uninstalled light silver and restarted, but it won't let me reinstall it.   So now I'm still pretty much where I started. IM thinking responsible Foing to BestBuy and geeksquad tell later if I can't get this figured out. Thanks in advance.

  Edit: I forgot to say that I tried to uninstall IE9, but it tells me there is an error uninstalling, so I downloaded firefox and it shows me the same error of netflix.

  Treat it as a corrupted user file.  To fix this usehttp://windows.microsoft.com/en-AU/windows-vista/Fix-a-corrupted-user-profile.  Use the new administrator account to do this.  Follow the directions given and everything will be fine and your new admin account should work normally.  Once you have ccnfired you can access, to all your acccess all of your programs and files, you can delete the old user obsolete and corrupt.

  That's all there is to it.  Now that we know, this is the profile and not the system, the solution has been set for us.

  I had the same problem.  I got it back up to my HP printer driver installations.  I found this solution 2, step 1 of this HP link worked for me.  http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bizsupport/TechSupport/Document.jsp?objectID=c00273968 .   Try to replace window Image Acquisition service automatic to manual.  See the link for instructions.

  Hello. I have two PCs running ask for 3d stuff. A machine is an i7, an AMD. We have a N-vidia a ATI graphics card. We have 16G RAM, the other 8.
  We run to W7 pro the other W7 Home premium. What they have in common, is that they have both run Posers Firefly, FFR renderer on the network. Either you let ask rendered your image or you ask the other machine to do. Anyway. I got this program for a while that an everything worked smoothly until a Saturday two weeks ago. Just after the last batch of updates. The two machine comes with an application when rendering error. "The memory could not be written.
  Changes in system only facts during this period was the updates so I am convinced that something touched something and so on.
  It is said expressly: "FFRender64.exe - Application error the instruction at 0x402a9546 referenced memory at 0x000001a0. the memory could not be written. Click OK to terminate the program"
  Could someone please find something? and don't forget TWO machines, brands of TWO GPU CPU TWO brands, TWO brands of MB and still the same problem!

  The 0x084e0fd8 error code is a memory location that the computer would have attempted to access when you received this error. This can occur because of a corrupted file or a bad sector.

  I suggest that you can run a disk check and see if we can find no fault with your hard drive. Please see the article below to run the chkdsk command.
