I see that the application that created the PDF file is FormsCentral, if the document has probably been activated drive. You can select: file > save a copy

Open the new file to change things and then reactivate the file: file > save as other > Reader Extended PDF > activate tools more

Each place card has a field for 'user name' and ' number of table: my question is...» Is it possible to 'select all fields' in Adobe Reader? If I go to Edition > select all, the program selects all graphics and none of the text fields. Not exactly what I'm missing here and I can not find my answer online. In this case, you can only change the properties of the text selected within a field. Acrobat Reader cannot change the properties of the text field.

  • Default properties for the text field of the PDF forms

    How can I set the default properties for the text field?  The creator of forms set of font sizes that are too large.

    Right-click on the field > use current properties as new default.

    It will keep the new settings until the next time that you do this. It is not specific to the document. Do it separately for each field type (text, button, etc.)

    On an existing form, you can select multiple fields. A pro tip, is that you don't have to close the properties to move from the field to the field to the field. Dungeon opens and work faster.

    A table has a class name of the subform, but will have a property of page layout with the value of "table."  If you find one of these, then you sweep that subform.

    But you code seems to have commented, that didn't work for you?

    Is there a way to 'batch' record as very? We have a customer who regularly sends files without all the embedded fonts. "Save as Postscript is the longest part of the process, then I would be able to automate it.  Any ideas?

    This is the worst absolute way to embed fonts for PostScript through deletes dynamic transparency, color management, bookmarks, hyperlinks, etc. Yucck!  You are in many ways to ruin the files, do not clean them.

    Acrobat Preflight has a correction for embedding fonts. Takes only a few seconds per file PDF. And if you have a bunch of these files, you can create an action to do this.

  • All the form fields do not paste from one file to another

    I use Adobe Acrobat DC on OS 10.10.3.

    I have a .pdf file containing form fields set up on what I want to use it as a 'model '.

    One machine I can copy the form fields and put in a new .pdf file and it works fine, but on any other machine, I tried it on it is not. On the other machines when I copy the fields of the form about 75 percent of stick them in the new .pdf.

    Is there a setting/preference on what I should check or would be - something else causing this problem?

    Thank you very much for the help.

    Replacing the old pages with the new in Acrobat is the standard way to do what you want. The fields of forms, links, code, bookmarks, comments, page/document, metadata, etc. are preserved.

  • For a given file, how to add and change file properties on the Details tab, for properties that are not in the properties list?

    Now, I am aware of the modification of the properties of the file is simple in Windows 7 Explorer. Select a file, 'Properties', then tab "Details".  Some are not editable, and that's understandable.  Click on next to any area classified as year, Genre, Publisher, etc. and the apply.  No problems so far.

    Then of course in Explorer, when you right click on a column header, you get several choices of column beyond the usual that is displayed by default; Date, the Type, size, etc.  But, there is an option "More...", which has up to now, MUCH more useful properties to choose from, such as the model project, Department, job statusand so on.

    It's fantastic!

    But when you look into the details of any given file, none of these additional properties even are listed to be edited.  Why offer to view these details, if you don't change them, or add them to different files?  I must be missing something.  I do not need to add my own custom details, this additional list has a choice, that I need; If only I could edit the files to get this info.

    How to add and change these properties to files?  Word, Excel, MP4, AVI, JPG; I would add these properties, so I can set directly in the Solution Explorer, as you would by name or Type.

    Any help would be greatly appreciated!

    My experience is that most of these 'extra fields' no existence not as fields in the directory (folder) itself.  On the contrary, these fields exist in the target file itself. Each file type has its own format and established file except for the types of files that belong to Microsoft, Microsoft cannot control or arbitrarily change the format of a particular file type.

    For example, a ".jpg" file  The format of this file type allows a large number of areas such as comments, Tags, date taken, opening, device manufacturer and so on.  If you go into the properties on a .jpg file, you will see a lot of them and will be able to change.  After changing any of these fields, you will find that the file itself has been changed to contain this information (as can be verified by the parity of the file and to come check upward with a different checksum).  If you display one of these fields in Explorer and 10000 ".jpg" files in this folder, then Explorer must open each of these 10000 files to extract the data in the corresponding fields, you have chosen to display.  May take some time.

    Compare that to the same picture saved to a file ".bmp".  The ".bmp" format has no provisions for any of these fields, so you will not be able to view, save, edit, or sort by them.  If the editable fields are directly related to the type of file that is displayed.

    Microsoft has apparently interviewed a lot of file types and made a compilation of the editable fields in each type of file and the Union of the selected fields in which can be displayed and modified.   That's apparently what you see in the option «More...» ».   So, in summary, the file type determines which fields are available for editing and posting.

  • Can load us a file that contains the joint field delimiter

    Hi guru,.

    Can load us a file that mixed the field delimiter

    EX: -.

    My first 10 lines have as field separator «,»

    from 11 to 20 lines have as field separator «;»

    from 21 to 30 lines have field as separator ' | '.

    123456789
    ABC, def, xyz
    a1d2 | b1cw | xedr23

    Hello

    If you have a special field that allows to identify the differences between these lines, you can use it to create 3 ODI data warehouses.
    Each data store refers to the SAME resource (ie: same file), but you use the option called "REGISTRATION CODE" to differentiate.

    ex: I will add a field 4th on your land, which I will call "block".

    123456789; Block1
    ABC, def, xyz; bloc2
    a1d2 | b1cw | xedr23; bloc3

    I create 3 warehouses of data based on this file.

    First data store: I define ',' as the delimiter
    Second data store: I define ';' as delimiter
    Third-party data store: I define ' | ' as delimiter

    In the properties of the column of the first store of data block, I put 'Block1' value in the 'registration code '.
    In the properties of the column for the second data store block, I put the "bloc2" value in the "registration code".
    In the properties of the column of the third-party data store block, I put the "bloc3" value in the "registration code".

    I think it should work.

  • PE4 file export giving the wrong field order

    In PE4, when I run the file - export with the following parameters:

    General/File Type: Microsoft DV AVI

    Video/compressor: DV PAL

    Key and record/field image: first high-field

    It creates AVI OK, but GSPOT watch the AVI is lower field first, not upper-field first as specified in the settings.

    Why?  Is this a bug or selecting DV force LFF (If Yes, then why isn't the UFF option grayed out in the settings?).

    What I'm trying to do is to create some small side projects as AVI, which will be finally import into a comprehensive final project.  The source files for the subprojects are mpgs from a HD camcorder, to make them high-field first (UFF), and so I use the PAL Harddisk predefined project which is expected to be the source files UFF.

    Since my final project will include UFF mpgs and these subprojects AVI, I ask to be UFF also, so that I don't have to reverse selectively field orders etc.

    Is this wrong?

    Thank you

    Dave

    Yes, Premiere Elements will take care of the order of the fields when exporting to DV - AVI format, if you use a video of the UFF in the preconfiguration of the UFF «Hard disk, Flash memory camcorder» project

    Original title: file security accounts

    I noticed that when we look at some file properties, the Security tab shows an account listed as "account unknown (with the following information of number/letter).  What is this and can it be deleted?  It grows on files a little, but no more.

    The SID that you see refers to an account that you deleted at some point in the past. Nothing to worry about.

  • Reading file properties in the labour code

    Hello

    I would like to open and read a file of properties in the code of my custom work. I've created a property file and packed with my binary class in the jar file. But whenever I am reading the contents of this file, I get an exception. Do you have a will forge how to properly read a file of properties from the labour code?

    Here's the code I'm using (but this isn't work - tried times commented and uncommented versions):

    final String STR_PROPERTY_FILE_NAME = "/ package/name/MyClassName.properties";

    final String STR_PROPERTY_FILE_NAME = "MyClassName.properties";

    Properties prop = new Properties ();

    InputStream in = MyClassName.class.getResourceAsStream (STR_PROPERTY_FILE_NAME);

    InputStream in = getClass () .getResourceAsStream (STR_PROPERTY_FILE_NAME);

    Prop. Load (in);

    in. Close();

    InputStream in = MyClassName.class.getResourceAsStream (STR_PROPERTY_FILE_NAME);

    change that to

    InputStream in = MyClassName.class. getClassLoader().getResourceAsStream (STR_PROPERTY_FILE_NAME);

  • Properties of the gray disk - impossible to edit

    Hi guys,.

    Scenario:

    Virtual machine with 2 discs. We are not able to change the setting of additional space for these discs.

    NO snapshots are active.

    The only thing, it's a few days before, the mv has been cloned.

    Now we need to provide the space and the framework both of these drives are grayed.

    I think that these issues are related to clone and snapshots but currently it works, no snapshot, at least to see us.

    Any idea?

    According to the largest snapshot (~ 50 GB), it seems that this snapshot was created a long time ago. If no snapshot is displayed in the Snapshot Manager, create a new snapshot and then click on 'Delete All', which will merge all data from all the snapshots in the basic disk. Due to the size of the snapshot, it may take a long time (hours) and affect performance. So I recommend you do this after hours.

    CAUTION: Make sure that - in case you run an image backup-you disable the backup to make sure that no other snapshot is created while the deletion process is running!

    Just in case you have posted in the wrong forum and you run ESXi 4.0 Update1 or older, you must temporarily ~ 50GB of additional disk space on the data store.
