  Photoshop CS5 to read files from Nikon D750 to atleast Camera Raw 8.7 or higher.

  However, I believe that you would not be able to update Camera Raw, so you can download and install the DNG Converter and convert the files to DNG.

  You need Camera Raw 8.7 or higher for the camera, so you have to CS6 or higher. You can use the free DNG Converter for CS5.

  In Photoshop, choose edit preferences and go to the section of Camera Raw. Remove the check from "Use graphics processor" and then see if you can change your raw files.

  Today, like right now. There is a 5.7, Lightroom now available for download and installation. It includes support for the camera. If you have not yet been notified, go to help-> updates. It should guide you through the update process.

  The camera Nikon D750 is supported with Camera Raw 8.7 and above.

  So, you need to update to Photoshop or you can download and install the DNG Converter.

  The D750 was initially supported by camera 8.7 crude which is compatible with 13 elements (or later versions).

  So, you will never be able to open the D750 in 12 elements Raw files.

  Options:

  1. Upgrade to 13 items (but be aware that the new 14 items is imminent, so it might pay to wait a few weeks)
  2. Download the free Adobe DNG converter, convert all D750 Raw files to DNG, and then change the DNG files in 12 items

  I move my camera since Nikon D3200 to Nikon D750. With the D3200 I used 11 items to edit JPEG and RAW files, but discovered today that 11 elements is not compatible with the D750 to read RAW files. I downloaded the trial version of 13 items - which is compatible with the Adobe help desk, but taken with the D750 RAW files aren't always be seen. However, I don't see the RAW files that I took with the D3200.

  Same card memory is used and I formatted the card when I changed from one camera to another.

  What I am doing wrong? I almost always shoot RAW, so I need to be able to the files.

  I wonder if the 13 elements is really compatible with the D750.

  I want to add that I use a Mac.

  Just use help > updates in the element editor 13 photoshop to get camera raw 8.7, so you don't have to use the DNG converter and then you will be able to open the nikon D750 directly in 13 EPS files.

  I'm not up on top of LR, but a colleague has problems with LR 4.4 Recognizing the RAW files from the Nikon D4. I looked on the map Camera Raw support, and it should only need LR 4.1, so I don't know why it doesn't work for LR 4.4.

  The D4s was first supported by Lightroom 5.4. Either it will have to use the DNG Converter to create DNG copies or upgrade his Lightroom. Nothing that can be done by upgrading Camera Raw because plugin is not used by the Lightroom program.

  1. download and use the latest DNG Converter (free from Adobe) to create copies of your raw files that can be opened with what you have DNG.

  2 subscribe to creative cloud photography ($ 9.99 / month) and always have the latest Photoshop, Camera Raw and Lightroom.

  3. buy Lightroom 6 (stand-alone version).

  4 use the ViewNX software provided with your camera to do your raw processing and save TIF files that can be opened with Photoshop.

  None of these solutions will give you access to your pictures raw image data.
