• How set the anchor point of the composition (no layer)

  Hi people,

  I have a composition very long and skinny.  In a far corner of the comp, I'm turning a layer on the x axis, but I want to turn backward in relationship to itself, and NOT with regard to the focus of the long and lean model.  I changed the anchor point of the layer itself to be the center of the layer, but it always tilted toward the center of the model:

  

  How can I change the anchor point of the comp itself?  I tried to change the position of 'anchor' in the grid 3 x 3 in the composition settings panel, but that seemed to have no effect.  Thank you!

  No.... Just like in real life, point of view is controlled by the position of the camera, the angle of view is controlled by the focal length, and the center of the view is always on an infinite perpendicular line between the center of the plan of the film (point of interest). The human eye is not tilt shift, like the cameras was discovered and no not the camera AE (or no matter what camera I've ever seen in a 3D application, so you can not control the perspective by winning the film plane or by moving the center of the lens as you can do with a camera or a tilt shift lens.

  The vanishing point is where the parallel lines converge and depends on the angle of parallel lines to the camera.

  Here's the thing about nesting more small compositions in a larger. If you put 3D layers in your nested compositions and condense the transformations, then the camera in the main computer will interact with the 3D layers in nested compositions. If you do not condense the transformations there will be no change in perspective as the camera moves into the main computer. If you do not condense the transformations and you make the 3D before comps will organize just flat cards in the main 3D model space.

  One last thing. Only the Active camera view has perspective. All custom views are orthogonal - no perspective. This

• How to choose a short section of a video clip?

  I need to select a short (3-5 seconds) section of a clip video long (20 minutes).  What is the most effective way to do it?

  So far, the only method that I can find is to place the entire clip in the composition, then split to the point that I want to change.  This seems extremely heavy and awkward, so I guess that there is a better way.

  Using After Effects | Working with elements of film

  You can use the Set of species , Out records , Ripple insert edit and Overlay Edit controls in the footage Panel to cut a film point and insert it into a composition. Cropping in the footage Panel can be more convenient that the addition of the element of film to a composition and then trimming its layer in the timeline panel.

  I looked, but I have not seen this reported problem. I have three movies that point to another. If the last slide in the first film points the next film. It works when I run it in preview, but after I publish on my site I get her "cannot find page" when the second movie should appear. If I create a link for each film they will play separately.

  Larry, I've been "in and out" catching up on useless things like cut grass so my little dog are not lost. ;) Not only that, but these little speedy blue Dungeon jets flown and are totally distracting! (The Blue Angels are present in KC this weekend and are of course practitioners. Flight path is sometimes almost directly above my house. (Fun!)

  There is another possibility that I can think of in addition to the excellent advice of Larry. Let's say that you named your film «MovieA» In this case, you would see the MovieA.swf and MovieA.htm (assuming you left the default one and let the Captivate to publish an HTML file for you too).

  You quote questions linking after pushing things on the server. One thing that is possible (depending on the server) is that the actual name is off. If your film on the server is moviea.swf and moviea.htm and the link specifies MovieA, it could be a problem. This usually only happens with the UNIX servers. They are extra forgive so much extra picky with things. On a UNIX server (which are many web servers) the following file names represent the three completely different files.

  * MovieA.htm
  * movieA.htm
  * MOVIEA. HTM

  For Windows servers, it won't matter. But if it's UNIX, it does. Just check to be sure and cover your bases, you can double the things. Advice from Larry combined use with mine. It's usually a simple thing to make references all lower case. Make this time before you link so as to ensure that it's all lowercase, once it is on the server.

  Your entire development is off? You may be able to disconnect and reconnect. You can check this thread for more suggestions:

  Lightroom 5.5 'develop module is disabled. Please renew your membership to reactivate the develop module.

  I was expecting an error message indicating that the development module is disabled, however. If this isn't what you're talking about, please show us a screenshot of the 'dark' buttons

  Hi ive made a mouse pointer to flash movie. When I rollover the butones I have on my film works.

  When I go into the film, it starts to drag, and it works perfectly.

  The only problems I have is that when people they come out the mouse out of my scene in the movie, I want that

  the mouse pointer to do not stay on the border at the bottom right and still left.

  When is out with the real pointer to full desseaper, because is in dosent look very nice stay there almost to the confines of my flash animation.

  Mine works in the same way, but as exampole link you to seems to use location detection to start a tween that is being gradually disappear.  I say this because the distance from the edge where it stops and fades is different every time.  There very likely occur at a distance less than the actual width and height of the stage since it does not occur at the limit, always somewhere in front of him.

  Just drag the right or left side of the region be expanded to include most of the voice.

  While cycling (replace) each record cycle is in fact only the region of an audio file that contains all the audio recording of the entire global cycle.    Then you cycle 2-3 bar record and do you 5 times counting from 1 to 20 in the microphone... Each region will be only 1 respective bar where the recording of the cycle started while you were, however each region refers to an audio file that contains all the numbers from 1 to 20.

  Then expanding to the right or left side of the region - will provide you with the early start or finish late audio.

  Same thing for taking records, except that you must be in edit mode to manipulate it start/end region.

• selectingitems and trackpad pointer moves its own

  I was watching a video of Amazon and may have struck a couple of keys, or my hand slipped in the keys - I don't know, but pointer froze on the follow-up to the film bar at the bottom of the screen (not sure if this is relevant, or what is called in fact this bar) in all cases, the pointer froze and then began to move erratically in bursts on the screen , selection of apps, ibooks, photos, etc. and then OPEN them as if I had clicked. Literally goes haywire as if it had a life of its own. I have NEVER experienced this during the 11 years that I've had the Mac laptop. I don't know if trackpads wear out (my current MacBook Pro is a vintage 2012 and I debated update, but it was working very well.) I wonder how to clean the dust/debris under keys because I know it can be done and I was wondering if something got under the trackpad (seems pulled by the hair) but it's really another question for me to continue. Any help on trackpad possessed pointer would be appreciated. I don't see that this issue anywhere else... - Pam

  Remove the bottom plate and inspect the inside.  Pay attention to the battery to see if there are signs of expansion.  If so, take it out and have a new installed.  An extended battery can affect the trackpad.

  If no success, make an appointment at an Apple store genius bar for a FREE evaluation.

• Should I have an untouched copy, without danger of my film even if the project is missing source files

  Recently noticed on my page of film projects, some movies have great points of mark.  After you click on one of them and hovering above the timeline, it displays a message that says "source missing files, try to re-import originals.  Fortunately, I discovered that I still had the original files on the computer.  I re-imported them.  They came alongside the corrupt, but this has not been resolved in the timeline, which means hovering on the edited clips shown always the same message.  A little frustrating because I have no way of knowing what parts of the source clips I chose to put in the timeline panel.  However, before I continue, I decided to check the Theater tab.  There, I found ALL the movies with question marks in the intact project tab and played back perfectly.  Then, I downloaded these movies to iCloud.  So my question: even if for some reason my project of versions have been corrupted, I have all the movies intact in the theater with a back on iCloud.  Is it enough and if I can delete projects?  Part of my confusion is to determine what is related either worried I might remove something that is necessary for playback.

  Theatre contains only shared movies.  These are stand-alone files film and does not at all depend on projects and events of the iMovie library.  So you can delete the iMovie library projects (of in iMovie) you want to modify the other.  You could also remove all events that do not contain clips that you can use in the current or future projects, but it is best to keep a backup of your original media.

  Same thing happened to me. I tried to replace iTunesLibrary.itl with an older copy, but that has not worked. Then I tried to return a version by resetting the Time Machine's iTunes app, but it would allow me to edit or delete iTunes because it is part of Mac OS X.

  So, I can not sync my iPad or iPhone, update all apps or find my music, that is, the course of the odf, still on my hard drive. ITunes just can't see the library.

• iTunes store pointer problems

  I use iTunes on a PC x 64 Win10. The iTunes Store is normal except for the movies section. The mouse pointer is not aligned with his actions.   Make sure all Windows fonts scaling of the display option are set to 100%.

  In iTunes in Edition > Preferences > advanced press reset the Cache.

  Have you also tried different players? For example, the VLC Player?
  Is a free tool and it supports and plays most of the files.
