• Sorting of images based on their position on the page

  How would I go about sorting the images based on their position on the page? I've read a few articles which mention the use of table method fate and checking their x and y values to sort the table. While that works on the page elements that are perfectly aligned with their x and is the axis, it fails on a layout like this. Does anyone have any ideas on how I could create an individual table for line1, line2, Row3 etc based on his position there and then sort them based on their position X and then create the master table combining them in order?

  I found an idea that seems promising to deal with the issues mentioned above. The main problem, as you have no doubt noticed, is that we cannot simply count about to coordinates (x, y) 'as they are', even after having rounded values, to extract implied rows and columns.

  When we look at the layout below:

  

  our eyes instantly detect what he expected to be 3 columns and 5 rows, but this underlying order is not immediately accessible from all sort all of the coordinates. We need to improve the algorithm.

  What I propose is to speculate about the gaps that occur on the ordered sequence of coordinates x and y, respectively. To reveal these gaps, we will first sort the data along the x-axis:

  

  The figure above shows that the width of the rectangles. Each arrow represents a rectangle, and I ordered the elements by increasing x-centers. We can estimate that the element identified #1 belongs to a new group of this simple fact: its left coordinate (red mark) is higher than the coordinated right (blue guide) of the #0element. This observation will give us a strategy to identify gaps in the column.

  Then, the same method is applied to detect the lines. (Sort by values y, identify gaps, based on the progress of the min - max).

  At the end of this process, each object has a (column, row) coordinate pair instead of fragmented values (x, y) . So, we can calculate the final order, i.e. the weight of the comparison function.

  Here is my implementation of this algorithm:

  What is the difference between the the star ratings and labels to images? I would rate 5 stars pictures that I want to use, and I see that I can also assign a label "approval". Is there an advantage to using labels instead of just stars?

  like most.

  The advantage of having two options, is that you can use them together to

  create a lot of different ways to sort and filter your files. For

  instance by using a star without a label and a star with one of the other

  five colours gives you six differently to sort and filter your files using

  single star

  I am building a demonstration Captivate containing a slide branching that allows the user to choose which way they want to view; Once they are done, they come back on this slide branching, and I want a check mark to display the button/path that they have already completed.

  I'm new to the use of variables and actionscript in Captivate, so I went the the documentation and the creation of variable is clear, as well as the use of conditional constructions, but I didn't know the instructions of scripts that look like they will allow me to display an image from the library when she is called in the conditional.

  Is this possible? If so, a pointer to an appropriate documentation or sample code would be greatly appreciated.

  Hello

  When you insert images of the box, you click the Options tab and give the image a name that you may recognize. Then clear the Visible check box. This allows to keep hidden until you want to show it.

  

  However, note that even if all the image names are listed in the dialog box advanced Actions as being available for show, you will only be able to show an image if you run the fast Action of the blade where the image exists. So you will likely build a means by which you are setting up a variable to indicate that a section has been visited. Then create an action that is performed on slide enter to show the images based on the values of the variables.

  If Role = 'Supervisor' I want to filter  dir_role1,dir_role_value1,super_role2,super_role2_value

  Hello

  You should probably create a condition for each column you are filtering on. Something like:

  dir_role1 = CASE WHEN: role IN ('supervisor', 'Director') THEN: dir_role ELSE dir_role1 END

  so that the column is filtered only when the role is supervisor or Director.

      Can see pants and pictures, but where the usual 1-5 *s are, it says "Rating".  I click on the "Men's Pleat Front Traditional Fit No Iron Dress Twill Trousers" (the first pants picture/option, Item # 426850-A61) and up pops all of the information EXCEPT the photo/s that should be on the left, and the "Views + Reviews" with all of the comments under that.

     ...however, the stars, ratings, and comments are not there.  The picture/s of the shirt are there, as well as the size, color, add to bag, etc.
      On Amazon, I can see the ratings and comments.  This tends to be a problem with clothes companies and their customer service has not been able to tell me why I can't see what should be there.  Internet Explorer Does show the missing info; I haven't tried Chrome.  I want to work with Firefox.  Any suggestions?

  If you are unable to view these images directly, sites can be blocked. Check out the first section of this article: the problems that cause to not show images.

  If you CAN not display these images directly, but not when they are incorporated on the main site of Lands End, you may be blocked "third party" images. You can check here:

  (1) in a new tab, type or paste Subject: config in the address bar and press ENTER. Click on the button promising to be careful.

  (2) in the filter box, type or paste perm and make a pause so that the list is filtered

  (3) if the value is not 1 (and the line is in bold), click permissions.default.image , then click Reset.

  If the above fails, it could be a problem to Add on. Could you try Mode without failure of Firefox? It is a standard diagnostic tool in order to avoid interference by extensions (and some custom settings). More info: questions to troubleshoot Firefox in Safe Mode.

• Music: Why the Star Ratings went?

  Apple, I was using iTunes since 1.0 and music from Apple since the first iPod players. The main way I sort my music is by assessing all my songs, so I can quickly make playlists based on songs of five stars (for example). I often listen to playlists of songs not classified, so I can rate properly.

  This feature is gone in iOS 10.

  I used to use the title of the song (in iOS 8 and earlier) or the album art (in iOS 9) to bring up the stars for a song. It was quick and easy and allowed me to evaluate my songs while I'm away from home. IOS 10, typing from the cover of the album does... nothing. The functionality of the Star has been removed completely.

  Can you tell me why this was done? You deleted a vital part of the music experience without valid reason. And it's not as if this operation has been replaced by what it is. He just disappeared.

  What makes me regret upgrading to iOS 10, and I'm looking forward to this release for months. It's take away something I used religiously since the very first iPod.

  Hi Ravi,

  If you are looking for a photo with celebrities you can use conditional formatting to replace your value by the number of stars (out of the box you have from 0 to 5 stars, but only "full" Star, if you want half of the stars you can provide your own photos).

  Because it is based on a measure, you use this measure as a condition to set the number of stars.

  And others have explained, Lightroom does not apply the changes to the file. All changes are stored in the catalog, and then applied to the image when it is displayed in Lightroom. If you want a copy of the image with any changes so that you can share with others or send it to a laboratory to print, then you must export a copy of this image by using the export dialog box in Lightroom.

  The search field at the bottom of the keyword Panel is to find keywords

  already created. If you use the quick search filed above right in Bridge

  window, it will work. (also Cmd + F the fact and section keyword in the)

  Filter panel will show the keywords assigned to the content of the folder

• In Firefox updated, my new bookmarks (Favorites) do not appear in Unsorted Bookmarks... or anywhere... and are not for editing when I double-click on the star.

  Used Firefox (and Xmarks) for many years without problem.
  Since the upgrade to the latest version of Firefox, I can't create new bookmarks. When I have a Web page 'star', it does not appear in the folder of Unsorted Bookmarks OR at the bottom of my list of unsorted bookmarks. I'm unable to 1) find my bookmark ANYWHERE and 2) double click on the star to change my bookmark.
  Why am I having this problem? I spent too much time quite several times now trying to figure out what was once a task fundamental, almost blind.
