find the search string

Hi all

CREATE TABLE TEST

(

NAME VARCHAR2 (100 CHAR)

)

Insert into TEST (NAME) Values ('1,2,3');

Insert into TEST (NAME) Values ('2,3,4');

COMMIT;

I want to search the string like

Select * from test where (name like ('%' |)) NVL (lower(:t), '%'). ("%') or name is null)

above sql will ask the value, if we enter '1,2,3' I get the result...

If I pass "3,2,1" do not get the result...

I need to verify the existence of any value... .query should return the result.

If I pass "3,2,1" - the query should return the result.

If I pass '2.1' - query should return the result.

If I pass "3.1 -" query should return the result.

Thank you

Thank you

Murali

    I have Adobe Reader XI with the package that allows me to send a PDF file and convert PDF files to Word. When I open a pdf file and you try to find the search shows no match, even if the word I'm looking for is in the document. Suggestions how to search?

    A scanned document is an image; You can't find a picture.

    If the image contains text, recognition of characters (OCR) will convert the 'text' in the image in real text (searchable, editable).

    OCR can be performed automatically when converting a PDF to Word, using the ExportPDF service.

    To run OCR inline in a PDF document, you will need Acrobat.

  • setUpComplexFindReplace() can't find the regex strings

    I wrote an extension to run multiple find and replace by calling setUpComplexFindReplace() and replaceAll() and so far everything works fine, as long as I'm not looking to match a RegEx string.

    Let's say I'm trying to find the ampersand symbol and convert it to a HTML character entity. If I open the dialog box search / replace DW records the following code and save the query. This query in the dialog works search / replace fines and any independent (with a space before and after) & s loading are.

    <? XML version = "1.0"? >
    < dwquery >
    < queryparams matchcase = 'false' ignorewhitespace = 'false' useregexp = "true" wholeword = "false" / >
    < find >
    "< qtext = qname ' \s & amp; \s" qraw = "true" > < / qtext > "
    < / find >
    "" < replace action = 'replaceText' param1 = ' & amp; nbsp; & amp; amp; & amp; nbsp;" param2 = "" / >
    < / dwquery >

    However, passing the foregoing as a parameter to setUpComplexFindReplace() will not find anything:

    dreamweaver.setUpComplexFindReplace ("< dwquery > < queryparams matchcase ="false"ignorewhitespace =" false" useregexp ="true" wholeword ="false"/ > < find > < qtext = qname" \s & amp; \s"qraw ="true"> < / qtext > < / find > < replace action ="replaceText"param1 =" & amp; nbsp; & amp; amp; & amp; nbsp;") param2 = "" / > < / dwquery > ');
    dw.replaceAll ();

    Is this is a bug in the API and is there any workaround?

    Make sure that escape you all characters of backslash: qname = "\s and \s" inescapable qname = '\\s & \\s '.

  • Can not find the search engine on the iPad with iOS 9.2.1 3

    I upgraded my iPad more aged 3 to iOS 9.2.1 when I got my iPhone 6. Everything seems to work, except works more slowly and 'suspended' during the loading of applications. But I see now, there is no search icon as the first screen before the point of home at the bottom of the display screen. When I try to move from the middle of the screen, nothing happens, other than the bounce of the screen. I checked the manual to see if I was missing something: it says to do what I do. Advice?

    This form is not available for older models of iPad.

    Here are some suggested steps that I use to improve the performance of the older models of iPad iOS 9 ongoing.

    A disclaimer clause.

    I make no warranty, express or implied, that my own procedures return EACH older iPad to a usable state, running.

    Try all of the following conditions:

    Try to reset all the settings in the settings under general app and in the right column under restore.

    Try stories reset and delete/reset the caches in all web browsers you use.

    If you use Safari, these features may be in the application settings under Safari.

    Other browsers have their settings inside the running application itself.

    If your iPad has been activated for iCloud, in the application settings under iCloud, to the right, under iCloud Drive, type in iCloud drive and make sure that Safari is off to save data from Safari to iCloud by car.

    Also, under iCloud in the application settings, in iCloud Drive, turn the feature off saving for all other desired apps DO NOT the data automatically on iCloud drive.

    If you are using Safari is always causing issues.

    Try changing / using web browser third another, different.

    I do not use iOS Safari too much more because I found it cause me headaches on some Web sites, regularly, to visit.

    I commonly use another third party browser, perfect browser (there are others that can suit your style better web browsing, so look all first to see what third-party browser may work better for you) and I have never experience many questions that Safari was originally.

    In the settings app, under the Safari settings panel, tap the Panel, in the right window, turn off / disable Safari Suggestions.

    In the application settings tab general, right under the spotlight sesrch, try disable the search under the applications who really don't need a research, as some games, remote controls, apps that are really useless to be searched, etc., in order to reduce the list to Spotlight search.

    Try to turn the reduced movement.

    This is found in the application of settings in the general tab, in the left panel.

    In the right panel, look under accessibility, look to reduce the Motion and turn this feature "On".

    You should see a significant performance increase on all models of iPad 2, 3 and 4.

    In the application settings under the general tab, in the right column, search background App update and enable this setting to "off".

    If you are willing to do (I, personally, would not recommend this), some users have reported that turn off find my phone/iPad, in the settings app in iCloud, has improved the performance of iOS, although I have no how this feature could be the cause of such a slowdown in execution, unless it's a bug in the iOS which only affects some iPad users.

    Try an another hard reset of your iPad by simultaneously pressing buttons Home and sleep/wake button until your iPad goes to the dark and restarts with the Apple logo, then release the buttons.

    Good luck!

  • Searches return only results that have a space before the search string

    [[For example, if I just enter the letter 'h' when you search a folder each of which contains an 'h', I retrieve only those in which the 'h' is preceded by a space, for example I get -A1:29 last part,] high-school, but not -A2:153b.2 three other boys,] don't forget.

    And no, I do not inadvertently enter a space before the "h".

    Ah, I see, it's because the default mode which is performing research is found only at the start of strings, rather than including matches at the breast.  You can use the symbols of a special syntax.  Come in:

    ~ = h

    [Update: apparently special search symbols such as ~ = do not work when no property specific such as the name isn't registered when looking to indexed locations, but do work during the search in unindexed locations.]  [Then, enter the name: ~ = h and not only ~ = h.]

  • Return only the hits that corresponds to 3 or more keywords in the search string

    I created a Multi context column index that works as expected.

    In my application, I would like to be able to search using the following (or similar) string:

    "man dog cat tree fetch stick."

    And I would like to return only results that contain 3 or more words. That is to say, any result which contained 'man' and 'dog' and 'stick' would be a match, but the results which contained only "fetch" and "dog" wouldn't.

    Can anyone think of a way to create such a feature?

    Thank you very much in advance for your suggestions.

    Andy

    The "accum" operator (shortened - ",") could help here. Accum is set such that several results are guaranteed to produce a higher score than the terms less. He did this in 'zoning' results - if you do a search of accum for two words, then suddenly will always score in the range 1-50, and and two hits will always be in the range of 51 to 100.

    You can so work with your terms of six search, the result will be something like:
    1 Word hit 1-16
    2 words hit 17-33
    3 words reached 33-50
    4 words hit 51-83
    5 words hit 84-100

    So the search for at least three words is: CONTAINS (col, ' man, dog, cat, stick, tree, look for ") 32 >

    See the complete example below:

    SQL> drop table foo;
    Table dropped.

    SQL>
    SQL> create table foo(bar varchar2(60));
    Table created.

    SQL> insert into foo values ('man dog');
    1 row created.

    SQL> insert into foo values ('man dog cat');
    1 row created.

    SQL> insert into foo values ('man dog cat stick');
    1 row created.

    SQL> insert into foo values ('man dog cat stick tree');
    1 row created.

    SQL> insert into foo values ('man dog cat stick tree fetch');
    1 row created.

    SQL> create index foobar on foo(bar) indextype is ctxsys.context;
    Index created.

    SQL> select score(0), bar from foo where contains (bar, 'man , dog , cat , stick , tree , fetch', 0) > 0;

      SCORE(0)    BAR
    ----------    ------------------------------------------------------------
         17    man dog
         34    man dog cat
         51    man dog cat stick
         67 man dog cat stick tree
         84 man dog cat stick tree fetch

    SQL> select score(0), bar from foo where contains (bar, 'man , dog , cat , stick , tree , fetch', 0) > 32;

      SCORE(0)    BAR
    ----------    ------------------------------------------------------------
         34    man dog cat
         51    man dog cat stick
         67 man dog cat stick tree
         84 man dog cat stick tree fetch

    Of course you don't know the terms of research beforehand how many there are, in this case, you'll need to do the calculation, or use a lookup table to understand what are the limits of the partition.

  • Too many files are returned by the search

    I have thousands of files I need to travel from time to time for specific identification numbers.  The numbers are in the format "00-00-00 '.  When I do a search for content of file using Windows Explorer, I continue to receive files with even part of the search string.  I went into the folder options and not them 'find partial matches' and ' language search natural use "options, but I always get a hundred of files returned, do the wasted effort.  I tried to enter the string search with and without quotes, but it seems to make no difference.  My question is 1) is there something special I have to do because the research focuses on numbers and 2) so I have a result of unacceptable research, so I have to delete the Index or something to not keep the same result?

    Try this special syntax:

    content: ~ = "00-00-00 '.

    Use the name: ~ = "00-00-00' if it's parts of file names that you are looking.

    The symbol of the hyphen, as symbols of most special is not available without the use of syntax as ~ =, which means "corresponds to anywhere."

    [Update: apparently special search symbols such as ~ = do not work with the content when property indexed research places, but work during the search in unindexed locations.]

    Hello

    If you run a search in Windows 7 from the Start Menu search box, the search string is not saved in the search box. This is normal.

    However, if you are looking for using the search box on the upper right corner of the Windows Explorer window, the search string is saved in the search box and stays there until you delete it or close the Windows Explorer window.
