  When he mentions the use of Firefox can preload the video, this means the desktop version of Firefox. Due to restrictions of iOS, Firefox for iOS is always based on the rendering engine of Safari, where this feature may not be supported. BTW, add-ons are still not yet available for Firefox for iOS (at least for now).

  There is no way for Mozilla create Firefox for iOS. Apple restricted a lot what kind of applications can be created for iOS. The only thing that could serve as Mozilla is a Firefox Sync client, which then uses the iOS Safari browser.

  With some back and forth with Adobe support, they had me run all the updates on my mac and the update to the latest java (they sent me a link to java update with support from apple, that no longer works, or I would have placed it here) and that did the trick for me and my .ipa file falls down.

  Yesterday, I decided to check the 'Clear Cache leaving' parameter. This morning I couldn't start Firefox. It hangs and stays like that. I saw another post somewhere on this same issue. I created a new profile and it worked well. He's just stuck when I try to use my old profile. It doesn't work in either safe mode. Y at - it anyway to disable this option outside of Firefox.

  The shell Firefox for iOS devices requires at least iOS 8.2 minimum. For the feature you need iOS 9.0 of private and most recent navigation.

  Firefox for iOS is basically a shell browser and isn't like the Android Firefox or Firefox for Windows, Mac OSX and Linux Office. It does not yet use the Gecko engine used by Firefox Android and desktop.

  Unless Extensions are made to support both, extensions made for office that Firefox does not work on Android version of Firefox and even with other means.

  There are also restrictions imposed by Apple.

  Not sure if WebExtensions will be an option.

  Also of note, the vast majority of Extensions for Firefox Android hosted on addons.mozilla.org to office and is an author of third party or the company and not from Mozilla.
