Firefox page selection
Firefox 3. had a drop-down list box the "<-" go back a page / '-> 'go forward icons on a page that allowed to choose what page he wanted rather than go back or forward one page at a time. "" Firefox 4. does not have this feature. At least I didn't think about her.

You can always do it, but you must click and hold the mouse button for a second to the list of history to appear.

If I have a small Firefox page I can not open a NEW page. He let me just open a new tab on the reduced page. I used to be able to open a new page in browser icon on my desktop, but for these last days, it won't let me. It is a desktop computer, running Windows 7. Everything is up-to-date.
Hi Deb, it's hard for me to test it personally because I've pinned the shortcut of Firefox to the taskbar, which changes its behavior, and when I remove it, I don't fit my desktop icon. (?!)
Anyway, as a temporary workaround solution while we sort out this point, you can use the 'Skip' list: right click on the Firefox icon in the task bar and choose 'Open a new fenΩtre' that should certainly generate a separate window and not only a new tab in the existing window. Normally works?
Firefox has a hidden setting that you might try to change to see if it makes a difference. Normally, when you open a link in another program, it opens in a new tab in the last window of Firefox, that you used. Your what's doing? I propose changing the setting so that the link must open in a new window to see if it has an impact on this problem.
(1) in a new tab, type or paste Subject: config and press ENTER. Click on the button promising to be careful.
(2) in the filter box, type or paste link.o and make a pause so that the list is filtered.
(3) double-click the preference browser.link.open_newwindow.override.external and set its value to 2 and click OK.
The possible values for this preference are as follows:
-1 = follow your settings in the Options for new tabs vs new windows (default)
3 = open external links in a new tab in the last active window
2 = open external links in a new window
1 = open external links in the last active tab replaces the current pageThere are a few other similar named preferences, so be sure to change one that has 'external' in the name.
Any difference?

When you use help I find references to the address bar, toolbar, Bookmark Tags, etc and still do not exactly know what areas these terms make reference to the Firefox page. I tried to find a guide, nothing helps. It would be very useful if help section has been that, if it isn't already.
I found this page, but it is a bit outdated.

When I put the profile command in run it gives me a firefox page
When I put the command of the profile ("C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\firefox.exe" - p) in win + R (run), it gives me a firefox page
This will happen when Firefox is already running, either Firefox is open or the firefox.exe file is "hooked" in the Task Manager > processes tab.

I created a new computer yesterday that runs windows 8.
I downloaded Firefox, then added tree style tabs and colourful tabs after which I powered off for the night. Today on rebooting and opening up Firefox I find that I have a vertical grey bar between my tabs (and same width as them) and the Firefox page. There is no right click options within that large grey area - and of course it's pushing my pages off the right hand side of the screen. How do I get rid of this blasted thing?????? Pete
I had this problem, but it was because I had two tree Style tabs and Vertical both installed. Once I removed the vertical tabs, the gray bar went away.

During the upgrade of the FF 16 or 17, I can always drag the icon that is to the left of the url on the desktop (or even quick launch of XP, shortcuts to files, etc.) to create an internet shortcut to the current page. However, with 17 this method produces a shortcut that shows a generic Windows icon instead of a Firefox-page icon. Even if a generic Windows icon shows normally "no associated program," these always open with FF when double-clicked. But it does not look good. (BTW, all of the shortcuts created by this method in FF 16 or less preserved the FF-page 17 updated icon.)
No idea why this has changed and how to fix it so that it looks the same as before?
Pending the resolution of the present (and another question) I went back to 16 FF, and it works normally again. However, shortcuts that were created while I had 17 always display the generic Windows icon.
fixed in Firefox 21 - this old thread from blocking

Hi all
I posted this question there is little time, but got no response, so I'll try again with a very bare code piece.
The attached vi is a simple. Simply, it scrolls through the 2 pages with a control tab and reutrns to the cover page.
I use the "mouse down" event stream to do the above.
What I try to do (with no success) is run that a piece of code to each time 2 page is selected (for the moment I'm trying to light an LED).
Could someone give me please a clue as to how ro?
Warning... should keep the event "mouse down" page selection pane.
Thanks for any help
Concerning
Ray
Yes. And when this event fires, you'll check to see if you are now (new value) or not, page 2. If you're not, you don't do anything else. If you are, then you run your special code.

Until a few days ago I was able to print a PDF from Acrobat Reader ms in Windows 7. Now I get "the document could not be printed." The next panel says "there are no pages selected to print," even if all the pages have been selected. I've uninstalled Reader and reinstalled, but the problem remains. I also tried to repair the installation and that doesn't work anymore.
Thanks for the tip. It turned out that kind Reader has been commissioning in protected mode. I changed the setting and it prints now as before.
Thank you

Cannot print. Receive messages "The Document cannot be printed." "No pages selected. Cannot print image. I tried the suggested solution in wire 30/11/15, but that has not worked. Have current printer driver.
Hi cirjcus,
In this case, I will propose you to perform a new installation of drive.
Download Adobe Reader and Acrobat cleaning tool - Adobe Labs
Adobe - Adobe Acrobat Reader DC Distribution
Try again with DC first then with XI.
Thank you
