Firefox redirects to the Indonesian site trying to enter the site Global Aliexpress

I had a strange problem these days. When I go to www.aliexpress.com it redirects to id.aliexpress.com at a time and cannot be changed. The same problem also occurs in safe mode. I removed the whole having address aliexpress but no use. No virus or malware based. And Yes, other browsers, like Chrome, work fine without the redirects. Note: I have many addons and tweakied so much that I really want to restore Firefox!

I am trying to download an image (png), but it's just loading and loading, so I don't know if it goes thru.

  • Firefox redirects to the page after you clear the cache, reset, reinstall

Only in Firefox (checked in chrome and IE 10) and only on this computer, when I try to go to this page: caroliniancanada.ca/calendar, I get redirected to calendar.com.

    OS: windows 8

    I tried the following:
clear the cache, history, passwords etc. (I have deleted everything after support to the top of my favorites)
    start firefox in safe mode
start firefox in safe mode windows safe mode 8
    Reset firefox
reinstall firefox without any saved data or backup

    This problem persists.

I am running a Norton scan and will run malware bytes later. Nothing else that a few tracking cookies have been discovered so far.

    Thanks for the quick response!

    Before trying your solution:
    adding notes:
    - http://caroliniancanada.ca/calendar/ goes to the correct location (a php calendar application installed on the server)
    - www.caroliniancanada.ca/calendar seems to open the google search for the address
    - http://caroliniancanada.ca/calendar or http://www.caroliniancanada.ca/calendar open calendar.com

    After I tried your fix:
    - http://caroliniancanada.ca/calendar now redirects to the correct location
    - http://www.caroliniancanada.ca/calendar still heading calendar.com
-the Web server SHOULD be redirect all traffic on the www to non - www.

    Conclusions:
I think that it is indeed a mistake to redirect to the server. I tried it again in a new combination on Chrome, and it seems that if I type in www.caroliniancanada.ca/calendar or http://www.caroliniancanada.ca/calendar I get redirected to a "not found" page which suggests calendar.com . It seems as if Firefox is simply force a reload in calendar.com rather than providing an error.

I am now able to reproduce this on my other machine of firefox by going to http://www.caroliniancanada.ca/calendar , so I'll mark this resolved and try and understand what is happening with my redirects. Hair pulling yay! Need a haircut anyway...

Wow, what a frustrating way to discover a server error! Thanks again for your quick help!

  • Firefox redirects to the page wyciwyg

For the last two days, Firefox always redirects to a blank page when I try to visit any page on www.kongregate.com. When I use IE tab on the blank page, it comes up with the url "wyciwyg: / / #/www.kongregate.com" where # is a number that changes from time to time. "" I tried to delete my Firefox cache and uninstall/reinstall Firefox without success. Sudokuz.EU is the only site I know that to happen on and this is the first time I saw him do that before. It was fine two days ago and I have installed a new add-in on the month.

    URL of affected sites

    http://www.Kongregate.com

I restarted my computer, it turned off for awhile, deleted the cache manually in files and disabled several plugins, and yet, the question remains.

Any other ideas on how to solve this problem?

  • Field has been redirected correctly but only Firefox go to the old site

I built a new website for a client whose domain is registered with GoDaddy. The URL has been updated in GoDaddy and verified with one of their technicians. All other browsers I've tried going on the new site, but Firefox displays always the old site. The domain is http://www.auburnsummermusiccamp.com, the old site was hosted on Google and the new site is at http://www.karlinlouiseimrie.com/auburnmusic/. Firefox is my normal browser so I only tried other browsers when GoDaddy has confirmed that the redirect worked although I still got the old site. I tried to clear the cache and history.

The URL without www. prefix redirects and presents the new website in an iframe:

    <frameset rows="100%,*" border="0">
      <frame src="http://www.karlinlouiseimrie.com/auburnmusic/index.php" frameborder="0" />
      <frame frameborder="0" noresize />
    </frameset>

With the www. the prefix I get the old domain, then maybe you should ask to redirect this area as well.

  • How can I change the fact that whenever I open firefox, I redirected to a Web site promising a free ibook?

Ok. So, in October, I made the mistake of opening a Web site offering a free iBook (I'm really not gullible; I thought I could understand who he was referring too me). Since then I can not open a new session of Firefox without being redirected to the site (if I open more than one Web page and save them before closing I don't get redirected to the site of ibook).

I did keep my software for browsing the web on USB keys, and I tried two different USB key is not serious. I bought and ran an anti-virus program. No dice. Can you help me?

    Hi revbennyd,

So, it looks like that your home page has been hacked? You should take a look at the Knowledge Base How to set the home pagearticle.

There are the steps in this article to reset your preferences on the default home page. I would try everything first to clear all strangeness. If it works, you can try to set your homepage again to your personal preferences.

If this does not work, you should look the article How to fix preferences that will not save.

Finally, your problem may be because you have been hit by some malware.

    Hope this helps!

  • My tabs are not open automatically whenever I open firefox on my macbook pro. Tried all troubleshooting suggestions on the Firefox help site, but nothing is. Help.

I've been pinning sites Web App Tabs on my mac pro book. However, every time I leave firefox and reopen the next time, my tabs will be gone (although I had him pinned and it has not closed). I tried all the suggestions on the setting preferences but nothing helps troubleshooting. Any suggestions on what is my problem?

    Hi ling757,

Have you checked if the preference to restore the last session is always defined when you open Firefox? You can read the article How to fix preferences that will not save. It may be that Firefox can't save this preference.

    Hope this helps!

  • I type a web address correctly. Firefox then changes the address to another site.

After you type and enter the correct address of a secure government site that I visit frequently, Firefox started today to add in additional address ".csda." and tries to access the new site data.
The new site does not load, and Firefox returns the error message "cannot find server". So far, the problem only occurs with a site.
This behavior does not occur when I use the Microsoft Internet Explorer browser.
    Can anyone help please.

If you want to dig into it further, you can open the web console under the page (press Ctrl + Shift + k) and retry the URL to this tab lines will collect in the console. If you scroll to the top and click on the first URL, you can check the response to see if it is redirect. The response headers, you would see one that indicates the location and lists the new URL.

Note that sometimes a redirect which seems to behave randomly shows a hacked site. This would be more likely if you navigate to the site of a search results page because hackers often steal their redirects under the radar by attacking only the visitors by using search engines (under the radar because that the webmaster has never access their own site in this way).

  • Why firefox redirects my homepage site to wrong address

Hi, I have firefox redirect this http://cureyourimmunesystemnow.com/ to the following address: http://cureyourimmunsystemnow.com/wp

I thought that he was a cpanel or problem of WP and have spent ages trying to solve. Finally, I wiped all my work (all) own and started all over again - twice! But he continues still to be.
I accidentally discovered barely well - it works on all other browsers - except firefox. Not only that - he did the same for other users of firefox. What is going on? I got months trying to get my site online and now I find Firefox is the culprit. What is the reason?

Thanks cor - el, who has worked - but I wish that I knew about it before losing months of hard work, reinstalling over and over again, my Wordpress site blame and features cpanel... Why the hell is THIS feature here? Without doubt, I should be able to go where I want that to happen? Not impressed with Firefox-especially when anyone else in the world I sought the help of complained did the same thing - and could not tell me why.

In any case - thanks a lot for your help cor - el.

  • Whenever I type a search term in the navigation bar, firefox redirects me to a page of Web iis 7 blue screen

I tried resetting and reinstalling firefox. I also deleted my history of research completely. I also installed malware bytes to scan and remove potential malware. I currently have norton 360 and it found nothing. The search bar in the top right works fine. It is only when I try to enter a search term in the navigation bar it redirects me. Thanks in advance for your help.

Looks like you have a third-party program that has been on your search engine, home page, or the value default new tab page. Fortunately, this can be solved easily:

    1. At the top of the Firefox window, click the Firefox (Tools menu in Windows XP), and then click Add-ons. Open the tab of the Add-ons Manager.
    2. In the tab of the Add-ons Manager, select the Extensions Panel.
    3. Select the toolbar you want to delete.
    4. Click on the button Delete.
    5. Click "Restart now" if it appears. Your tabs will be saved and restored after the restart.

After restarting Firefox, install the Reset search tool. This will remove the rest of the traces of this program to your Firefox.

For more information, please read delete a toolbar that has supported your Firefox or the home page search.

  • I keep redirected to the American version of a site rather than the site of origin.

Recently I hooked to reading the articles of a UK site, but recently, when I click on the links in the article I'm automatically redirected to the American site and its contents to the place! I live in the United States but hate the American site articles and many prefer the British. Initially, my only solution was to stop the article during the loading in order to stay on the link of the desired article, but also the end that fails and I'm automatically redirected to the American pages instead (ugh...).

I am currently using 25.0 Firefox on Windows 7 Home Premium and checked the box 'Warn me when websites try to redirect or reload the page' under Tools > Options > advanced > General > section accessibility but was always redirected. I also installed the add-on Refresh Blocker v0.8 but was always redirected. The site is http://www.denofgeek.com but when I select an article on their homepage or the categories I get redirected to the "equivalent" http://www.denofgeek.us As a precaution, I have performed an analysis of malware but come clean and have deleted all cookies and temporary internet files, but once again it was in vain.

Is there anything else I can do to avoid the redirect? Or if this site has officially lost a player? Any help is appreciated.

I don't know why you will be redirected, but here are a few thoughts:

    (1) in case your preference for .us is stored in a cookie - rather than an account setting - try to clear the cookies for the site (this will probably end your session, so save all pending work first). While displaying a page on the site, try either:

    • Click on the globe or the padlock in the address bar > more information > Security > "View Cookies".
    • Right click on the page > View Page Info > Security > "View Cookies".
    • Menu Tools > Page Info > Security > "View Cookies".

In the dialog box that opens, you can delete cookies from the site individually.

Any changes in the navigation of the homepage?

    (2) if give you permission to site to access your location, that turns off. You can access specific permissions to the site while displaying a page on the site using the Page Info dialog box. Either:

    • Click on the globe or the padlock in the address bar > more information > permissions
    • Right click on the page > View Page Info > permissions
    • Menu Tools > Page Info > permissions

(See screen shot on location approval)

    (3) if the site uses your preferred language to redirect, you can add en-GB and reorganize your languages. However, this could lead to strange results on other sites. If you want to try it, go to the languages of content here options dialog box:

the button Firefox orange (or the Tools menu) > Options > content > select button

  • What should I do if Firefox crashes a few seconds after trying to load any material animation, be it ads on the side of Cheezburger websites, videos from YouTube or Hulu?

I just bought a new HP Pavilion 23 inch all-in-one desktop, one without a modem on the side because everything is held upward. I'm usually on the technical plan and can understand things more easily. This, however, ahurir me because I think and know exactly how something to do, and I can't get a response at all. In any case I downloaded Flash once or twice more to try to solve this problem, but it has not disappeared. What it does is, each time I have want to watch [or don't want to look, in some side-of-site-video-ads] tab Firefox with the animation will be very sensitive, and any click on any Web site, such as the page next to the Cheezburger Web site or just the fact that load a video on YouTube or Hulu will cause Adobe Flash Player to plant within a few milliseconds. It lets you hear the first 5 seconds or so of the video before it stops [seconds after no response from Adobe, I might add] because Adobe does not and then crashing. In most cases where the video makes it crash, most of the time that the video image does not load before it crashes, or, even if an image is trying to load, it's just a green color dark forest instead of the image of the video on YouTube. If I'm looking for the non animated images and small GIFs, such as the humor Cheezburger websites or funnies to Touteleurope.fr, it does not crash on me. The majority of the videos I have watching is Anime related. I don't want to use Google Chrome, because I trust Firefox to catch other ads of arise, which is nice, but I might have to if it is not resolved.

Try disabling graphics hardware acceleration. As this feature has been added to Firefox, it has gradually improved, but there are still some problems.

You will have to perhaps restart Firefox for it to take effect, so save any work first (e.g. you compose mail, documents online that you are editing, etc.).

    Then perform the following steps:

    • Click on the orange top left Firefox button, then select the 'Options' button, or, if there is no Firefox button at the top, go to tools > Options.
    • In the Firefox options window, click the Advanced tab, and then select 'General '.
    • You will find in the list of parameters, the checkbox use hardware acceleration when available . Clear this check box.
    • Now restart Firefox and see if the problems persist.

In addition, please check the updates for your graphics driver by following the steps in the following knowledge base articles:

  • How do I allow all redirects in the world in 49 of Firefox?

The answers to this question were posted in 2014 and do not apply to Firefox 49. I am a smart internet user and know where I'm going. Firefox blocks all the redirections and asks me if I want to enable it. Of course I do, since I deal with most of the sites, and it was me who asked to go to another site. If someone, PUHLEASE, tell me how do I allow all redirects without being invited?

Redirect Firefox Add-on poisons you just with the creation of rule on any that I give a shit.

  • Management Center of subscriptions (preferably) coding of the button "Accept" to redirect to the main site

I work with my subscription management center and entered the option 'Edit & Preview '.

What I'm trying to do, is to have the "Accept > >" button on the bottom run a javascript script that redirects to our main site. This would be instead of having just a message at the top says "your subscription status has changed."

Does anyone know how to enter a script so that when a contact click the "Accept" button in the center of management of subscriptions, it will redirect you to the main site after you say it took your changes into account?

I found this, which can help in our quest for this response, however, I don't know where to end the back of the ' Accept > "button code is. In addition, there is a and php possible solution, but I'm not familiar with those as well.
