First elements: a video image

I read on the site Adobe Québec 'image from the video' function does not exist in the latest version of elements of Prime Minister.

Ook de-t-there another medium to extract/create a still image from a video, because this function particularly interested?

For non-French, the same English readers:

I read on the website of Adobe, the latest version of the first elements does not include the fuction 'image of a video.

Could someone tell me if there is another method of extraction / creation of a still image from a video, as I am particularly interested in this feature?

Thanks for the reply.

Photoshop elements editor does not support video, except in one case.

There used to be an element in the editor of Photoshop elements 11 and earlier versions, video frame/Menu/import file.

where you could take a video in the feature and generating static images (one at a time).

I don't see this feature in Photoshop Elements after version Photoshop elements 11.

Hi, I have a few old images of an old mobile phone.  The resolution is bad so I intend to show the video within a framework with a background image, as it sometimes does with instant film.  I can't seem to find templates to use the video in this way, is there a way to do this?  Thank you

You can certainly create an image in the image like this in first items - place your frame or background on 1 video and your video (scaling to fit within the it) on Video 2, directly above the background.

But there is no template for this that I know.

You'll need to create the frame or find an existing chart to use for this.

  • Why is it not my Adobe first Elements 9 video full screen?

Okay, so I turned my video in full screen HD, and when I export, the quality is poor and he is half of the screen. I had no idea when I started of what settings choose, this is probably the problem. But now, deseperately I hope someone tells me there is something to do, because I have worked on this project for 3 years now and I can't start over again.

The project settings is DV NTSC.

The videos that I use are in. MTS and. MOV

I don't know what information you need, but do not hesitate to ask.

Officially you can not change the settings for this project when it was established. Of all that has been written, you seem to have the project settings for both 16:9 4:3 source files.

The hope would be to amend the preset to NTSC DV Standard NTSC DV widescreen or another preset 16:9 project.

But I wrote it on a way to make this change in some cases when editing the document in Notepad the saved closed Premiere Elements project file (.prel).

But this document in Notepad for editing can be difficult if you have not done before.

First Elements ATR troubleshooting: PE11: changing settings of project without starting a new project

Note: NTSC DV Standard and NTSC DV widescreen have the same image size 720 x 480. The difference is that the screen has a 16:9 flag that extends from 872 x 480 to display video after encoding. You can tell them apart in the properties - the standard has a pixel aspect ratio = 0.9091 and the big screen has a pixel aspect ratio = 1.2121.

As a desperate gesture, I wonder if we could take the export of 16:9 (which features with black borders) in a project of Premiere Elements for NTSC DV widescreen. Scale and the installation video then just to fill space in Edit mode monitor. Then export them with a choice of 16:9 export. This may seem a bit zoomed in, but it could be a way to save what you have.

Consider, let me know if you understand the comments. I'm going to re - write here where necessary.

  • First Elements 8 video seems wrong when editing

    HI -.

I'm brand new on first Elements 8 - in fact just installed on a laptop HP/Compaq 6530 b running Windows Vista (32 bit).  At first, I tried to edit a Flip video (MPEG4) and also a Flip video that I converted to AVI.  I also have a new Canon Vixia HF M31; regardless of what I use video, the video editing window is horrible.  There is a picture 'double' - one on top is green heavy and there is an another 'double image' video below that looks better, but is below the shaded green video (see inserted the image below).  I wonder if this is a problem with the laptop, especially since several video formats have the same problem.  Where should I start to solve this problem?

NOTE: I took this same video and it seems fine with Windows Movie Maker (at least the MPG4 - have not tried the Vixia. Video MTS but as I guess it won't work with Movie Maker).

    Thank you

Ah, the dreaded integrated Intel graphics chipset. I was about to ask if you had Intel. They make great chips, but their driver support is almost non-existent. Does your computer laptop mfgr. have a newer video driver?

When you have an Intel graphics chip on a desktop computer, I always recommend that they disable this built-in chip and add a nVidia or ATI card. Unfortunately, this is not possible with most laptops. We're stuck with the video chip, which is installed.

Now, going back several years, I got a Toshiba laptop, and he had an nVidia chip. That you like, right? Well, it was implemented to work ONLY with drivers nVidia Toshiba, and Toshiba has never issued any - checked the other day, although this machine has been removed for 4 years, and Toshiba has not released a new driver. One of the reasons that I would never buy a Toshiba (or many other laptops) once again - the proprietary drivers. I used this SITE to personalize the nVidia, to work with my Toshiba drivers. Everything worked well, and I could update my drivers Toshiba owners, just as they had issued a. I don't know if this site will however customize drivers for Intel. I have no experience doing it.

Problems with drivers video (and audio) and an editing software, is that the program interfaces and use the driver, more than almost any other program. Things as simple OS updates and patches, can make an out-of-date driver immediately, so he should be able to update their drivers, constantly.

Good luck and wish that I had an instant solution for you.

On what computer operating system is your first items 11 running?

There's only burn to: ISO Image (25 GB) and the ISO Image (50 GB) only in the first 13 items version.

In first items 11 and 12 Windows, you will need to just burn: Blu - Ray (not burn on file or other) disc.

It is possible to obtain an ISO Image first elements 11 in conjunction with the phantom burner, and I wrote about it.

  • First elements 10 video playback is very bad and rough

When I look at my Prime Minister mts files to 10 items, the video is really bad. But when I watch the same videos with windows media player, that they look very well. Any idea on how I can get my videos to look good in first elements? I have a new high-end computer.

You must use Premiere Elements to get the support of your camcorder to your computer, Don - not the software that came with your camera and certainly not Windows MovieMaker. You want to keep the video in its "native" format, and Premiere Elements will do.

Just follow my instructions above and you'll be fine.

Regarding the video, you have already captured as WMVs, it is possible, you can still use them in Premiere Elements - but you are going to have performance issues you encounter. Then you can actually be wise to carry out this project in Windows MovieMaker, the only product that is perfect for use WMVs as your edition files.

  • First Elements-hour video recording

Imported only VHS movies in first Elements 8 one hour video. I would just point out specific, such segments that minutes 4-8 and export to a new avi file. After that, I might want to export minutes 12-20, etc.

So far I got a cut and delete everything except what I save, save this file, and then import the original file again in the first and cut and remove everything except what I want on the next file.

Looks that way back when, I was able to save the different segments of a file open, but not sure.

Any help would be appreciated. Tried to ask adobe when searching for answers on the first 8 crashing so, no problems with 7, but they refered me to Adobe.TV, where I found no answers. Maybe in the tutorial, but not able to find it.

Thanks in advance for any help

Here's a look at the WAB (work area bar), and how it is defined. Note: This is the pre 4, but should be the same in all versions.

  • AVCHD with first Elements 8 video file will not advance or reward

I just finished an AVCHD video project in first 8 and I can't fast forward or rewind the file on my computer with Windows Media Player or Windows Media Center. The file plays great but it's annoying to watch it from beginning to end for 45 minutes.

I have a Vixia HF S20 - the video format of the originals was ACHD. After completing the draft edition, I chose to save it to my PC (a Dell Inspiron 8100 with I5 - so much power awailable) as an MPEG file. I noticed that this format was the one who gave me the possibility to record video in H.264 1920x1080i 30 preset.

The rendering of the video took about 3 hours. He recorded the video in the AVCHD format and playback on my computer screen, it just seems like it should - quality HD - but the lack of controls, it's really, really stupid!

In any case, I need help to understand what is happening here. I did something wrong? Are there other record settings/presets to choose who keep HD quality, I'm not aware of?  Thanks in advance to 1 million!

Well, if you're against WMP, it might be that pre could have done something differently.

Now, I'm not a fan of WMP and not a fan REALLY of RealMedia Player. I compare this one to a Trojan horse, that had to happen. Finally, I had a version about 12 years ago and would never let another close copy one of my computers.

In addition to the two that I mentioned, GOM Player gets high marks, as well.

    Good luck

  • First Elements 9:. File AVI - no sound

I use first Elements 9 video files imported using the import feature in the Adobe Organizer from a digital Insignia NS-DV1080P camcorder.  File format is. AVI.

The videos play fine from the organizer and other video players, but when I edit the files with first Elements 9 audio is practically lost.  There is an audio track in the first but the sound is so quiet that they are pretty much gone.  Increasing the audio using the volume controls makes no difference.  The video is also very nervous.

I used different presets, but found no difference between the various parameters.

    System information:

    Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit

    AMD 2.60 Ghz processor

    6 GB OF RAM

Someone has encountered this problem, or you have an idea how to solve this problem?

  • Video image of first elements in JPEG high resolution?

    Hello

Anyone know if the Premiere Elements can be used (and let me know how) to capture and imported video or frame DVD, and

then convert the image to JPEG high resolution that can be used to print as a photo 8 x 10?

    Thank you

    Greg

Standard video resolution is roughly the equivalent of an image of 640 x 480 pixels. At 200 dpi - the minimum resolution to produce a good, clear photo - that would produce a photo maybe 3 1/2 "x 2 3/4".

    Hi-def video is 1920 x 1080. You could get a 9 1/2 "" x 5 1/2 "photo."

You can't really add pixels of an image, if you can he cheat a bit in a program like Photoshop Elements. If you push, you can enlarge a video caught about 10%, before she starts the fuzzy search and pixelated.

Also note that video pixels are generally consist of non square while the photos are made up of square pixels. The video images are often intertwined and must be désentrelacée to look good from the photos. It is therefore not an easy transition from one to the other.

  • First elements 13 Transitions video Windows only necessary Clarification

In the space of work Expert first Elements, 11, 12 and 13 on Windows 7, 8 or 8.1 64-bit, there is a category of video transitions appointed special effects.

Each of these versions has the same 3 entries in the category of special effects. They only mask Image, this Three- d.

I don't work with first Elements Mac at all. But I know that there are video transitions missing first Elements Mac located in first

Windows elements. In recent online articles by the same author, the list of "missing" video transitions for items 11, 12 and 13 Mac first (therefore assumed Windows only) included

    SPECIAL EFFECTS

    Direct

    Move

    Mask of the image

    Take

    Texturize

    Three-d

I do not find video transitions named Direct, dispersion, or take in the first items 11, 12 and 13 Windows. Someone else?

For first items 4, 7, 8.0/8.0.1, 9.0/9.0.1 and 10 windows, video transitions under special effects include Direct, dispersion,.

Mask of the image, take, Texturize and projected. After 10 windows, mask of the Image, this Three-d are the only transitions video special effects.

At this point, I believe that the above information for first items 11, 12 and 13 Mac lack of transitions (so supposed to be Windows only) is wrong. But I wanted to just make sure.

Thank you for your ideas for this items Windows user.

Hello ATR.  On my Mac first elements 11 mode Expert, Transitions gives me a menu drop-down with these twelve categories, each with a choice that it contains: 3D Motion, dissolve, Iris, NewBlue 3D Explosions elements, NewBlue Transformations items, items of mixtures of NewBlue, NewBlue Motion blends elements, Page Peel, photo wipes, Slide, wipe and Audio Transitions.

The menu header instructs users to drag & drop one of these transitions between clips.  When you drag one of these managed transitions, a small dialog box will appear asking you if the transition must be applied at the end of the previous element between the clips, or at the beginning of the item from.  Also, I tried by dragging one of the transitions directly on a clip and it appears a small arrow in the header of the item in the timeline showing the existence of a transition.  One can also drag its own BMP file from a Finder window directly in the Timeline itself and the file is immediately formed.

But I'm still learning how to integrate my own mask.

    Thank you.

Unless you have the information in front of you, please download and install the video properties MediaInfo reading program to determine the frequency of images or your video frame rates. Cell phone video is often characterized in variable rate which can (not always) create problems to get imported, video audio out of sync...

MediaInfo - download reviews and free software - CNET Download.com

Be on guard for any unwanted alongs carry with the MediaInfo. Excellent program, but those carry alongs can be a major nuisance. The reading of this program will tell constant compared to variable rate.

Also check the display to confirm that you are working with progressive video and not interlaced.

If variable rate, the next step would be to take video in brake hand and export it as H.264.mp4 with a rate constant, not variable. Use the median between the min and max.

We will follow to your results.

  • First moments of video rendered as just a black screen - first Elements 9

    Hello

I am putting together a short demo clip, 8 seconds of a particular moment of my project on first Elements 9. The section has two clips that have been taken separately, but are cut in half with the function of the harvest, so that they both play on the screen at once. There is also a position and brightness of one of the clips settings to ensure they match.

However, I started seeing strange behavior when I try to make the clip and as so far I have not been able to get a usable copy. When rendered as a .wmv, one of the two clips is inexplicably cropped down to about a quarter of the height of the stage, despite being not not in the editor. In addition, when rendered in the form of an MPEG format I would prefer the file in, even if I don't get the first problem I have a question where executives from 20 to 23 first video won't play in an external video player. I also tried good windows media player and VLC. Instead, the section of the video appears as either a black screen, a black screen with a white line on it, or, if the video timeline scroll at the beginning, the last displayed image. The clip of the music that accompanies the video however still plays during this section, and the error is not seen at all in the editor. Oddly enough, if one of the files of rendering is re-imported in first Elements 9 and played in error, 20-or-so executives will play indeed. It seems that the editor of Premiere Elements that can play these frameworks.

I am quite at a loss here. I doesn't bother me too much not to be able to export as .wmv, as it is not my first choice, but if someone could help me with the rendering of MPEG, I would be very grateful.

The source files are AVCHD (.mts) files at a resolution of 1440 x 1080. There is only a 'change of clip"to the point where the video become visible again, but that's just where I divided the same clip to make a change of brightness, as I have several times in the video also.

    Thanks for any help,

    Black.

I found a solution in entering all the clips in the project and dragging about 3 seconds in the timeline, leaving a few seconds of black space that I can cut easily.
