  You can open projects from versions with Premiere Pro, Yes. But I agree with Bob - make a copy of the project and open the copy. You won't be "up the Creek" if something goes wrong.

  Did you notice a huge difference when you use the first of the video memory amount of cards? Or is it just a marginal difference?

  It depends on what images and fx you use, as to how much the video card will be used. for HD / 2 k 2 GB is recommended, UHD / 4 k is 4 GB. the 960 gtx is always a fast card and for the HD it is usually more than enough. There are many systems use slower than the HD edition gtx 960 cards very well. You also want to match the video card for the cpu, if you create a system less $1 k then the gtx 960 makes more sense. a system similar to $1. 5 k or more then one gtx 970.

  It would be preferable that you contact customer service to see how you can transfer membership or get a refund adjusted for months unused so that you can cancel and start a new membership. I had to do something similar and this is what worked for me.

  Flash (SWF and FLV) support are no longer supported in current versions of Premiere Pro. You could try covering files SWF in another format than first support or modify your SWF files in the older version of first.

  Exactly the error message as follows:

  There was a problem installing first Pro 2014...   Failed installation.   Setup has encountered an error.  Restart the system and try again (15) 15 0 1 fatal error exit code.  Error: media DB: 12

  I solved this by doing the following:

  > Install Adobe Creative Cloud

  > Delete the directory C:\Program Files (x 86) of \Common Files\Adobe\caps

  > Delete the directory C:\Program Files (x 86) of \Common Files\Adobe\OOBE

  >R einstalling Adobe Application Manager.

  According to the newspapers, I had problems with the media_db.db file that is located in the directory of caps.  Removal that does not solve it however, so I tried to reinstall the AAM.  Who had problems replacing the OOBE directory, so I deleted that too.  Then the things installed smoothly.  None of this worked until I also have installed however CCA.

  I hope I saved someone a few hours!
