fix the msconfig Startup tab
I have several items in the Msconfig Startup tab, but these requests have been removed and when I check the registry at the location indicated in msconfig there is no registration. I even search the entire registry and the application is not there.
So, how can I fix msconfig.
I am very uncomfortable change registry etc.
Thanks for the reply but the elements that are in the startup in msconfig, that are not verified (while they are turned off are not in the location you have suggested and are not located where msconfig says they should be.)
When they are disabled, they are transferred out of the location indicated by msconfig and stored in the Tools\MSConfig of HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE key so that they are later recalled and restored to their original start location.
More specifically, they can be kept in one of the following subkeys:
Services of HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE Tools\MSConfig\startupfolder
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE startupreg

Hi friends,
I want a script that can fix the position of tab for start all the first paragraph 3 tabs only. Otherwise, don't change your other potions of tabs.
(This feature works in single line).
I try some code but not working out and automatically changed tab position. Please see my code below:
Example:
First tab position - 10 points:
Second tab position - 30 points:
Three tab position - 50 points:
var myDoc = app.activeDocument; app.findGrepPreferences = app.changeGrepPreferences = null; app.findGrepPreferences.findWhat = "(\\t\\t\\t)"; var myFnd = myDoc.findGrep(); var a = 0; for(var i=0;i<myFnd.length;i++) { var tabstops = myFnd[i].tabStops; for(var j =0;j<tabstops.length;j++) { tabstops[j].position = a+=20; } }
Please see my screenshot as below:
Please suggest friends,
Thanks in advance.
Grep search for ^ \\t\\t\\t
In your script, you change all the tab stops in a paragraph, not just those of your choice. On the contrary, do something like this:
var tabStops = myFnd[i].tabStops; tabStops[0].position = 10; tabStops[1].position = 30; tabStops[2].position = 50;

Is there a way to make the first Firefox tab a tab permanent, white fixed?
I would prefer, as the title suggests, to have my first Firefox tab to be a fixed permanent blank tab. In other words, he would never take the address of the first site I type or click on in the field address, but would act as tab "an anchor."
Is this possible? You can set the pref browser.tabs.closeWindowWithLastTab false on the topic: config page to prevent the closure of the last tab to close this window and display a close button if only one tab is open.
You can open the topic: config page via the address bar.
You can accept the warning and click on "I'll be careful" to continue. -

I can't remove the menu startup programs in msconfig?
I'm trying to get my computer to start faster by disabling my start up programs by going to start - run - msconfig - startup and uncheck all programs, I don't use, BUT... in the same list in "msconfig" from start, I see programs I deleted by going to start - Control Panel - Add/Remove programs. I don't know why these DELETED programs are still listed in my departure upward when I go into MSCONFIG?
Hello J.Carlson
If you want to remove inactive entries in msconfig, you must modify the registry.
Be very careful if you decide to do.
Back up the registry before making any changes.
Start/run and type
Regedit
Ok
When Open regedit
File/export.
Give it a name will recognize you again and save it on the hard drive
Then navigate to the
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE Tools\MSConfig\startupfolder.
You'll find a subkey for each disabled item.
Delete only entries for the mobility programmes
And also
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run.
In the right pane, delete the value of MSConfig.

This message is displayed on the screen after Office has fully loaded.
Now the question is... How can I identify "which' product needs to be reinstalled, and second, where do I find the" Doc # 5305?Just reply to * address email is removed from the privacy... * I'm completely lost on how to fix this...If it's really all the information that is available, you will have to resort to trial and error.
Use Integrated System Configuration utility (start > run > msconfig > OK) or (better) Autoruns.
In msconfig, click on the "Startup" tab In Autoruns, click the 'connection '.
In both cases, clear half of the entries and restart. If the error does not appear, the program of the problem is in the half you disabled (by UNchecking). Conversely, if the error appears, then the problem is in the half that you have not disabled.
Keep narrowing things down halfway until you find the culprit. Then uninstall it (and reinstall, if you still need it).
Note that one or more programs in the startup list will be linked to your antivirus. Either disconnect your computer from the Internet while you perform this troubleshooting or leave a / v program activated until you find the culprit (or conclude that it is one / v program itself that is causing the error).
P.S.: A quick Google search for error code 1 /-3/10900 suggests that the problem may be related to Nero 7, so if you have that and it is configured to start when Windows starts, I disable that and see if the problem goes away. To uninstall Nero, see http://www.nero.com/enu/tools-utilities.html

How to fix the 2343 error in Vista
When I try to install programs on it I get the message no install Error 2343 contributions. How can I fix this error in Vista Ultimate 64-bit
Hi graycat2,
1. What is the full error message that you receive?
2. did you of recent changes on the computer?
3. you receive the error message when you install programs on the computer?
4. do you have security software installed on the computer?
Method 1
Check and make sure that the Windows service install is running on the computer.
(a) click on start tocollapse that includes this image, type services.msc in the Search box and click on OK
(b) right click on the Windows Installer service and then click Properties.
(c) if the box Startup type is set to Disabled, change it to Manual.
(d) click on OK to close the Properties window.
(e) right click on the Windows Installer service and then click Start. The service should start without errors.
(f) click on the file menu, and then click exit.
Method 2
It is possible that some third-party programs installed on the computer is causing the problem.
I suggest that you place the computer in a clean boot state, and you try to install the program.
To help resolve the error and other messages, you can start Windows Vista or Windows 7 by using a minimal set of drivers and startup programs. This type of boot is known as a "clean boot". A clean boot helps eliminate software conflicts.
See the link below to learn more about how to clean boot.
How to troubleshoot a problem by performing a clean boot in Windows Vista or in Windows 7

Reset the computer to start as usual
When you are finished troubleshooting, follow these steps to reset the computer to start as usual:
(a) click Start, type msconfig in the search box and press ENTER.
(b) If you are prompted for an administrator password or for confirmation, type your password or click on continue.
(c) under the general tab, click the Normal startup option, and then click OK.
(d) when you are prompted to restart the computer, click on restart.
I hope this helps!

Computer: HP Pavilion G/1070 us laptop. Original OS W7 64 Home Premium SP1
15 Aug-2914, I had some freezes and problems of instability and learned on the web that a upgrade type installation could clean debris from its difficult use of several years. I went on the website anytime upgrade Microsoft and bought an Anytime Upgrade for W7 64 SP1 PROFESSIONAL and installed from the Internet Anytime site. The key to the new system has been inserted automatically and a copy sent to me by email with the reception that I printed.
The process went well and in the end my initial home screen was displayed. I checked email and tried a few other tasks, and everything seemed fine... I clicked stop, and (as I remember) a stream of file system names began to scroll to the bottom of the screen indicating that they were part of the upgrade process. I turned off the computer.
This morning, I restarted Windows and experienced some of the friezes original and instability... I reasoned that if I restarted the install of Win 7 Premium and careful I might be able to check updates and fix the problem. This was not possible. The Windows Anytime Upgrade site rejected the upgrade key that I was copying the receipt of Email for my purchase (I tried at least 10 times). I could not find any contact information on the site and I noticed that my received email was sent from an unmonitored address.
