• Flash Player Bug in ActionScript-VM 9.0R16

  the ActionScript VM seems to have a bug causing the host Application complete with a general protection fault. To test this, you can go to http://www.seafight.com/, the connection with test123 debug1 and password of the user and click on "la carte marine." This bug happens only occasionally, according to the computer (performance? other installed applications? memory?) it takes between 1 minute and 30 minutes until the player crashes. The only special things that made Flash uses XMLSocket and Sound.play.

  At the last order esi sometimes has a value of 0x80, having access to the 0xD4 address, which of course is invalid result.
  
  I can see/guess, the commands are part of the actionscript bytecode interpreter, at least that part is running several hundred times per second, which makes the breakpoint conditional unusable :(

  I have the following problem: when I try to change the settings in the flash player plugin, it seems to freeze, or at least it won't let me click options. I use the latest version and I have this problem in firefox and IE, who are also on the latest version.

• New Flash Player bug

  There is a big problem when loading data from Web services (.asmx? wsdl) Flash. New Flash player blocks the application in the middle of loading loading data from Web services. I used the WebServiceConnector class to load the data.

• ACC + number of Flash Player 11.2

  Hi all

  Anyone else had problems with reading after installing Flash Player 11.2?  I have a bunch of data I can post, but I think it's my code (not sure why 10.3, 11.1 work very well but 11.2 wouldn't specifically a view mxml...), so I was wondering if anyone else see issues.

  If it is after all Flash player bug 11.2 in the NetStream.play() method used in SessionManagerPlayback.as.

  During normal operation of the NetStream.play , a message is sent, which triggers the following method:

  public void onMetaData(info:Object):void

  .......

  _offsetStream.client ["onPlayStatus"] = onOffsetStreamPlayStatus;

  ........

  that triggers the function "realReceiveLogin()".

  public void onOffsetStreamPlayStatus(info:Object):void {}

  ....

  setTimeout (realReceiveLogin, asynchTimer, {descriptor: {userID:0, affiliation: 10}});

  ....

  This causes a connection event to ship and ends up a buildChildren and etc... It's no longer the case in the FP 11.2 or 11.3 (beta)

  This also causes a no apparent bug where trying advance in my reading, I get broken video/audio/everything that it is because 'NetStream.play()' stops when you try to "get" forward in time in the FLV yay!

• Adobe Flash Player Anime Bug

  Because I normally just look at anime them with Flash Player, this is the only problem I noticed. When I go on a website called animefreak.tv to watch the shows I love, problems occur such as the video stopping when I don't order it and the video stops playing audio while the video cut sometimes. I had no problems in the past until I've had the last update for the reader (ver. 11.7.700.169) which is posted at get.adobe.com/flashplayer/?promoid=JZEFT. I have Firefox version 20.0.1, and my browser shows me that it is currently updated. I am very picky about my products being not so much because of bugs that would be potentially annoy me. If these images are not enough, because they are not readable for me, I can email, let me know and thanks in advance.

  Here are some steps that should help you:

  You should be able to change the hardware acceleration option when Flash Player is in full screen mode. Try the following steps:

  1. Open a YouTube video in the browser.
  2. Expand to view full screen.
  3. Right click on the video to call the context menu of Flash Player, then click "Settings" to call the user interface of the Flash Player settings. (Note that you must do this twice if the interface settings user is not called by the first click.)
  4. Parameters of the user interface must be clickable mode full-screen. Go to the view tab and try to turn on/off hardware acceleration. Click the "Close" button to close the UI parameters. (Note that this should be done during playback of video from YouTube).
  5. Switch to window mode. If you call again the settings UI, you can check that your previous setting in step 4. has been applied.

  Settings on this tab can be bypassed using the tabs of the native Flash Player Control Panel camera and a Microphone.  See this video for more details.

  Most of the settings in this tab can be circumvented by defining them in the native Flash Player Control Panel storage tab, with the exception of set local storage limit.  A common case, you may encounter is the pop - up window "Local Storage" that is displayed if a website asks to store information on your computer.

  
  

  

  Unfortunately, due to the bug current that the effects of some iMacs, you can not click on allow or deny buttons. Escape temporarily this pop-up window, we can do the following steps in the native Flash Player Control Panel (NCP)

  1. Click on the tab "Storage" in the NCP
  2. Select "Allow sites to save information about this computer" If you want to allow the Web site to store information on your machine.
  3. Close the NCP and reload the Web site in the browser.  No pop-up window should appear.

  To change the local storage site settings follow these steps in the NCP:

  1. Click on the tab "Storage" in the NCP.
  2. Click on the button "settings of storage Site Local... ", a dialog box appears that lets you specify parameters of local storage for specific sites.
  3. For each Web site in the list, you can set 'Access to storage' to allow or block.

  To change the limit of local storage , we can use the Panel settings for recording Web site.

  1. Click on a Web site where you want to change the storage limit, for example, my.adobeconnect.com
  2. Move the slider to set the limit of storage for this site.
  3. Refresh the "website storage settings panel" in the browser for the settings to take effect.

  User interface - Microphone settings
  You should be able to change the microphone options when Flash Player is in full screen mode.  Here is an example of use of Google Talk (you should be able to do it with any Flash content full screen) .

  1. Start a Google Talk session.
  2. Switch to the mode full-screen chat.
  3. Right-click on the chat box to call the context menu of Flash Player, then click "Settings" to call the user interface of the Flash Player settings. (Note that you must do this twice if the settings UI is not invoked by the first click.)
  4. Now the UI parameters should be fully clickable.
  5. Exit full screen. If you call again user interface settings, you should see that you settings have their effect

  User interface settings - camera
  You should be able to change the options of the camera when Flash Player is in full screen mode.  Here is an example of use of Google Talk (you should be able to do with any content Flash fullscreen).

  1. Start a Google Talk session.
  2. Switch to the mode full-screen chat.
  3. Right-click on the chat box to call the context menu of Flash Player, then click "Settings" to call the user interface of the Flash Player settings. (Note that you must do this twice if the settings UI is not invoked by the first click.)
  4. The UI parameters should be fully clickable.
  5. Output mode full-screen. If you invoke UI settings once again, you should see you settings have their effect

  Now, this bug should be fixed with the 10.7.4 Apple operating system release.  Update your operating system, reboot and try again.

  What was causing my problem was as follows; Flash Player 9 has better support for masking in the documents to print. Flash Player 8 would print things that were hidden by a mask, FP 9 custom. If the code I submitted still works.

  OK im extremely frustrated, when I download the installer of flash player and run it, my windows removes Setup, I tried from the internet explore and google chrome, and no matter what I try my BODYGUARD windows by deleting the installer when I run it, as dangerous, for other browsers flash player works perfectly what the * BEEP goes...

  Looks like you may have a security/antivirus application that is a little too aggressive.  You run McAfee, Norton, or something similar?  If so, try disabling it temporarily.  Also, if you haven't already done so, may try to use installers in the next post to see if they make a difference?

• Flash Player glitch on ONLY Youtube videos!

  I have some problems with Adobe Flash Player on the Youtube video only (the two browsers: IE and Firefox). Other sites using flash player are working, like Megavideo or VideoBB. I have Windows 7 and the beta of Firefox (I got the version 3.6 of the same issue).

  So, to make it clear, I made a video for it. > > Click me < <

  As you can see, sound is good, but I can't see the videos on the site, but if I pop out, it works! (Mode full screen does not work too)

  Can someone explain to me how can I solve this problem?

  The people I encountered this problem as well with the latest version of the flash player.  I can't find anything in the knowledge base, but apparently I'm not allone.  Can someone from adobe help?

• Can I overload the Flash Player to bug out?

  I'm hardly an ametuer to programming of sites in Flash to let you know (as 2.0).
  
  I have a site very heavy semi with long preload for pages and a site radio/Bo. The site is here... http://www.shootiehgstudios.com/clients/thecauterized/TheAlchemist/index.html
  
  The soundtrack .mp3 on 4MBs that performs a loop, and pages are about 1/2 MB. When the site launches and loads into the home page, which was then the home page load other pages as requested with the radio/mp3, sometimes the radio turns off or loading will not give up the page I want. What is really bad, it's once a of these errors occur, I need to clear my cache of browsers for the site working again, that many users do not know how to do, and I of course want to have a site that works correctly.
  
  Not that I can really have a real conversation detailed on how I set up the site (being a newb), I guess my overall question is, can you do the work of Flash Player too hard to where these problems occur? It takes too much memory as he tries to load even more and, consequently, break the feet? I wonder if I am just trying to shave KBs away here and there, could this problem will go away? I'm assuming that the radio I have trying to load 4MBs value of music as my main page tries to load a page 1 / 2MB and it's too much for the player. It's that or my Flash workflow is so bad that I would have to rethink the whole of the project... I don't know where to start, hoping that someone has a spare minute to share all the opinions.

  My hosting company was market back its servers for the last 48 hours and I had no idea, so couldn't give me the bandwidth, I had need I guess. Woke up this morning and the site works like a charm now. Sorry for the long thread for no reason.
