• Flash Player Bug/Glitch?

  First of all, I want to say sorry if this isn't in the right place. This is my first post here, and I just need help with a problem I have.

  I use Google Chrome as my browser, and I have the latest version of Flash Player installed.

  A few weeks ago, I disabled the setting acceleration hardware to see what he would do. I closed my browser and reopened. I've not seen much of a difference, so I re-enabled hardware acceleration, but one thing I noticed that a tab in the right click menu was gone (image below).   Another thing I noticed was (probably because the tab is gone), no more local shared objects are saved on my computer. When I try to access some content Flash lately, sometimes Shared Objects are required in order to run content, which makes it really annoying.

  I googled around for a while now, and I have not found all the solutions on how to solve this problem. I couldn't find any other person having this problem.

  I tried to uninstall, then reinstall, and I tried to empty the file Flash Player of %appdata%\Adobe and % appdata%\Macromedia.

  I also tried to tweak the settings of the global responsible thing to allow local shared objects stored on my computer, but when he does not save my choice.

  Any help to fix this would be appreciated!

  You can also check "allow local data to be set" is selected when you go to chrome://chrome/settings/content?

  You may want to google how to reset Chrome on its values.  I am running the same version that you but have not seen that happen.

  the ActionScript VM seems to have a bug causing the host Application complete with a general protection fault. To test this, you can go to http://www.seafight.com/, the connection with test123 debug1 and password of the user and click on "la carte marine." This bug happens only occasionally, according to the computer (performance? other installed applications? memory?) it takes between 1 minute and 30 minutes until the player crashes.   At the last order esi sometimes has a value of 0x80, having access to the 0xD4 address, which of course is invalid result.
  
  I can see/guess, the commands are part of the actionscript bytecode interpreter, at least that part is running several hundred times per second, which makes the breakpoint conditional unusable :(

  All plugins are updated. This has only started happening recently. Plugins seems to start for a few seconds (not more than 5) and then crash. Chances are that there is more than a problem with Silverlight and Flash, but they are the only two I use really.

• Flash player install because he thinks that Safari doesn't have altogether

  I tried several times to install the new Flash Player. For some reason any Installer (and I twice redownloaded it) don't think I have enough Safari, when I. I tried to restart, quiting before Safari never try the installer, installing BEFORE I not even open Safari on a fresh reboot.

  Could be that the process for safari is running in the background, try this.

  Check Active moniter can you see safari, if so, to stop the process.

• Flash player does not work with hardware acceleration

  This helped.   I uninstalled KB2670838 and now flash player works fine.

  If the DPI setting is not set to 100%, 125%, 150% or 200% the script error will appear.  If your DPI setting is set to something else, please set it to one of these and the installer should work.  We are working on a fix for this.

  To check/change the DPI setting:

  1. Start the control panel and go to Control Panel\All Control Panel Items\Display
  2. In the left menu, select set size custom text (PPP)
  3. In the Windows Setup custom DPI select 100%, 125%, 150% or 200% in the menu drop-down
  4. Click OK
  5. Select apply
  6. Open a session/disable
  7. Online installer should now run without displaying the script error.

  I found som advice in a forum on hacking the router and change the DNS.

  I just find that my ASUS router has been hacked and the DNS value changed to 185.29.8.202!

  I've now changed it to the correct IP number. And a stronger admin PW.

  I also bocked IP 194.6.232.151 address in the firewall of the router.

  ASUS sent me a new firmware, so I'm going to the router

  The problem is that I don't know how they did when they hacked into my router... my old PW was also 'verystrong '.

• Flash Player install package tries to open Matlab instead to install Flash Player

  I downloaded the installation package of Adobe Flash Player for Mac OS X. However, when I try to install, it tries to open Matlab, rather than installing the package.   We are seeing this behavior with users who have installed of MathLab and we look at why this is happening.  FWIW, this happens to other software THAT DMG files as well, not only the installer of Flash Player.  For some reason when users have installed MathLab he adds the extension of .mdlp to the file DMG downloaded when users try to throw rather that opens with DiskImageMounter, which is what OS X uses to open DMG files, it opens using Matlab.  In this case in the future simply remove ".mdlp" from the file name and DiskImageMounter open the DMG, instead of Matlab.

• Strange icon that will not allow the update to Adobe Flash Player 17 for mac

  When I download the most recent Adobe Flash update for mac I have a strange icon.

  

  When I double click to launch the update file, I get an even weirder window full of gibberish.

  If anyone has any ideas or suggestions, I'm open. I went through each help file I can find for Adobe and nothing has helped so far.

  Remove the .mdlp of file name, so that it ends just .dmg.
