  • Flash Player 9 crashes Internet Explorer 6.

    Hello

Previous versions of Flash Player worked fine on my Win98SE system until I upgraded to versions 8 and 9, and then it became impossible to use Flash Player without a message saying that there was an invalid statement in the FLASH9B module to appear. OCX.

Sometimes I had to restart my system which had become unstable (blue screen - busy system).

I presented the dump of the registry of the FLASH9B. OCX crash to Adobe and they have as much as me with a uninstall tool with instructions on how to (re) install the latest version.

Each re-installation of the latest version always finished with a drop of the FLASH9B. Module OCX visit different websites,

Adobe advised me to stop using Flash Player on the grounds that there was, according to their estimates, something corrupt in my OS Win98SE and/or Internet Explorer version 6, everything I've updated with the latest patches from Ms.

I downloaded a fresh copy of Internet Explorer and I also ran the Win98 tool that checks the system files and I replaced the half dozen files that were reported as being suspect (checksum error, no doubt).

Despite this, Internet Explorer still crashes when I visit a Web site that offers rich media Flash on it (static images).

I myself resigned to living in a world without Flash Player.

But the price to pay for not keeping the Flash Player installed on his system is that there's constant requests to download Flash Player via a pop-up window, and even my Blocker should not hide these constant interruptions.

If anyone has had this same problem and if so, have you found a better way to live with or without Flash Player?

Any advice will be greatly appreciated.

    Thank you.

UPDATE: when I go back to version 8, then the module FLASH8B. OCX crashes like version 9.
If I go back to version 7 (7.0.19), everything works perfectly. So, what has changed in version 8 which makes my downfall of Internet Explorer?

I think I found the explanation which can help others, I hope.

Flash Player 7 specifies not a minimum hardware requirement, but the Flash 8 and the most recent call to Pentium II 450 mhz.

Maybe this isn't the number of mhz. It's critical, rather the instruction set that comes with a processor of Pentium II 450 mhz (MMX and SSE).

Unlike my computer at 200 mhz (Pentium II), my wife's computer is a Celeron (300 mhz). His computer supports Flash 8, but I does not work. A major difference between the CPU and mine is that sound supports MMX (but not SSE) and mine does not support MMX.

Therefore, I conclude that the MMX is the essential characteristic, I'm missing to support Flash 8 and newer.

    Thank you all

Wow, these are all accidents just of singular everything off in the memory of the garbage.  Something certainly won't, but I'm pretty confident that it is specific to your machine.

Here is where I would start.  I think we should take Flash completely, scan your disk for corruption and fix anything find us, restart, then proceed to reinstall.

1.), do manual uninstall for Flash to make sure it's really clean.

If you cannot remove some of these manually, the disk is damaged.  Do step 2 and then come back and do it again.

How to do a 'clean' Flash Player installation in Mac OS X

2.) see the section "try disk utility:

    https://support.Apple.com/en-us/HT203176

While you're there, choose repair file system permissions (check frequently back clean, but then repair will always fix a lot of problems).

3.) reboot the machine (for real, just to eliminate any possibility that something remained stuff Flash in use)

It's pretty weird for what it's worth diagnostics hardware running on the computer.  You may just have a baguette flaky RAM.

OS X El Capitan: use the Diagnostics of Apple or Apple Hardware Test

  • Pepper Flash Player in Chrome crashes on RTMP NetConnection

    Hello everyone.

We have already presented the question pepper Flash Player with here the bug database (Bug #4010090 - Flash Player in Chrome on RTMP NetConnection tagline) but just wanted to get a discussion going and possibly get Adobe (smaily :-) to contact Google and let them know that their recent updates have a serious bug.)

In short we have problems with flash PPAPI in the Chrome browser (pepper).  If you reboot your system with the last Flash of pepper and Chrome and go directly as a site that requires a NetConnection RTMP you will find that no connection is possible on all ports.  We have tested this over and over again and came to the conclusion, that it is a newly introduced bug.  Our lack of traffic too our services confirms him as well, that's why we reached out to Adobe and the developer community.

    A perfect test is:

    http://www.therealtimeweb.com/index.cfm/2004/10/2/FMS-port-tester?CFID=1291705 & CFTOKEN = 484 14760

You will notice that no port connection cannot be made and if you try to access anywhere else Flash Player will crash.

Suggestions or recommendations (in part using another browser) would be greatly appreciated.

    Hello.

We determined that this issue is the result of the Avast Antivirus program. There seems to be a problem with all versions of Avast, even the free version with no firewall.

We will advise Avast of this issue. We recommend that the community of developers of chrome inform Avast as well.

  • What to do now that Adobe ended support for Flash Player 10.3?

Adobe ended in favor of Flash Player 10.3 July 9. Downloads are no longer available anywhere where I can find. 11.7 said Adobe is now the version 'extended' version. Since 10.3 is the only solution when the latest version of Flash Player will not work with Firefox, what do we do now? I tested each version of Flash Player after 10.3, and each begins to crash several times after 24 hours. Each time, retired to 10.3 is the only solution. The other suggestions in the help of Firefox do not work. I uninstalled 10.3 a few days ago to test 11.8 - later. It does not work with Firefox. Now, I could install only 11.7. She has not has not yet, but it'll probably be tomorrow.

If Flash Player 11.8 and 11.7 do not work, and 10.3 is not available, what can we do?

You can check for problems with the latest version of the Flash plugin and try these:

    • disable an eventual extension of the browser for Firefox Plugin RealPlayer Record and if installed RealPlayer update
    • Disable protected mode in the plugin Flash (Flash 11.3 + on Windows Vista and later versions)
    • turn off hardware acceleration in the Flash plugin
  • After you have installed Mozilla Firefox with Adobe Flash Player 11.6 20.0, videos YouTube do not load correctly.

Videos YouTube has of worked before installing Adobe Flash Player. Once installed the screen flickers, after a second, rewind at the start, then plays normally. This only happens when I use Internet Explorer. I reinstalled Mozilla Firefox and Adobe Flash Player several times but nothing seems to work. Decommissioning of Adobe Flash Player does not work either. It seems that Firefox is the problem, but I'm not completely sure.

You can check for problems with the latest version of the Flash plugin and try these:

    • disable an eventual extension of the browser for Firefox Plugin RealPlayer Record and if installed RealPlayer update
    • disable the safe_mode in Flash 11.3 and later versions
    • turn off hardware acceleration in the Flash plugin
  • Why Firefox shows no Adobe Flash Player 10 in my list of plug-ins?

Firefox said that adobe Flash Player has crashed. When I clicked on find my plug-ins Firefox, Adobe Flash Player 10 was not listed. I just installed yesterday and it is in my list of programs.

The Flash plugin shows that Shockwave Flash 10.3 r181 in your list of system details more.

I posted this question 25 and have not yet received response. Because of this problem of crash, I can't do anything on my computer apart from solitaire game and hang out Adobe communities looking for an answer. I found several issues like mine (Mac, firefox, flash player constantly crashing) who have no answers either, and I'm getting upset. I've been floating around Mozilla and Apple Help sections, and there is no answer there either. How can I get an answer? Or is there just no fix for this problem and Flash player does not work on mac more? Y at - it another program that I can use instead of Flash player? I like a lot to an answer, the answer, or anything cause I've stuck here until then. Thank you for you time.

    MacBook Pro 10.6.8

    Adobe Flash Player 16.0.0.305

    Hello

Since last week, Adobe Flash Player did not work on my computer at all. I can't watch videos and a webpage using Flash for accidents of ads.  I tried to use Adblock, thinking at first that the ads were the problem because they froze my computer in the past. There is nothing, so I went through the guide for Flash on the Mozilla Web site problems.  I removed all plugins, disabled acceleration hardware and even uninstalled Firefox and Flash player, then the reinstalled again. Still, it crashes and I don't know what to do anymore.   Is there something that can be done? Thank you for your time.

  • Adobe Flash Player plug-in crashes

Since I've upgraded to Windows 10, my Firefox browser crashes with the message Adobe Flash Player Plug In
broke down. I have and you have reinstalled the latest versions of Firefox and Adobe Flash Player. Accidents are
constant and make it extremely difficult to use Firefox as my browser. Or Adobe Flash Player or
Firefox seem to have a solution.

I use a Dell technical support. Finally, we solved this problem in
Uninstalling Adobe Flash Player (period). They have is Windows 8

  • Adobe Flash player crashes

I can't play anything on Rhapsody for a long time until the plugin crashes. Sometimes it crashes before the page even has the option to load. I have an updated version, the computer operating system has been updated, everything is up-to-date.

Is the problem on one site?

It is a standard orientation which addresses the most common issues with the Flash Player plugin. I'm sure you've seen some of it before, but just in case:

    (1) If you have any recorders/downloaders who interact with Flash media to ensure that they are as up-to-date as possible, or disable them temporarily.

    (2) turn off hardware acceleration in Firefox and Flash

    (A) in Firefox, uncheck the box here:

"3-bar" menu button (or tools) > Options > advanced > General > "use hardware acceleration when available.

Which takes effect the next time you exit and restart Firefox.

    (B) in Flash, right-click in the press and choose settings, then the first mini tab and uncheck the box to use hardware acceleration. More information in this article from Adobe technical support: http://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player/kb/video-playback-issues.html#main_Solve_video_playback_issues

    (3) turn off mode protected (Windows Vista and later)

The functionality of the safe_mode of the Flash player plugin has security benefits, but there seem to be some compatibility issues on some systems. There is a hidden for this parameter:

    (A) in a new tab, type or paste Subject: config in the address bar and press ENTER. Click on the button promising to be careful.

    (B) in the search above the list box, type or paste the flash and make a pause so that the list is filtered

    (C) double-click the preference dom.ipc.plugins.flash.disable - protected mode to change its value from false to true.

It cannot take effect until all the Flash was discharged for a few minutes, or you close Firefox.

    Any improvement?

  • Why Flash player crash with the edition instentally developer of Firefox?

So I use the most resent the Developer Edition of Firefox and Flash Player seems to hang as soon as it is trying to load any flash element. I tried everything I can, relocations and others without success. The only thing I have not done is disable hardware acceleration, but it's because of Flash Player crashing until I can pull up the context menu to do so. I even turned off all extra add-on to ensure that those who were not the culprits.
