  No, it isn't an installer for all types of browser.

  Microsoft integrates Flash Player in Windows 8.x and distributes updates via Windows Update.  If you have Windows configured to download and automatically install the updates you need not do anything.  Otherwise, run Windows Update to install the latest version of Flash Player for Internet Explorer.

  Google has also incorporates Flash Player in Chrome and distributes the updates.  If you have configured to automatically update of Chrome you need not do anything.  Otherwise, look for an update of Chrome to ensure you have the latest version.

  Since you also use Firefox, the only installer you need to manually run the Flash Player for Firefox installer.

  Whenever I try to open my HP Deskjet F4440, a dialog box appears indicating that I can't open the program unless I have download Adobe Flash Player in Internet Explorer. First of all, I don't use Internet Explorer and, second, when the last, I was invited to do the same action for another program on my computer, I followed the prompt. However, when I do it by following the instructions, I started having problems with my default browser, Google Chrome (OS: Windows 7). Chrome crashed repeatedly, and after many tests to troubleshoot it, I decided that the course of action was to uninstall and reinstall Chrome. He worked without crashing for a week. Now, I get again the same message for download Flash Player even if I had already done before. I can't use my all-in-one printer for a digitization project and I am extremely frustrated. The upgrade of the unit did nothing to solve this problem. Help, please!

  Welcome to the HP Forums!

  I understand that whenever you try to open your HP Deskjet F4440, a dialog box appears indicating that I can not open the program, unless I have download Adobe Flash Player in Internet Explorer and you cannot scan. I'm happy to help you!

  It is possible that there could be a software conflict with Adobe. In order to know for sure I would suggest the following:

  • Uninstall the printer software. Uninstalling the printer software.
  • Clean boot the computer. How to perform a boot in Windows.
  • Re-install using the printer HP install wizard for Windows.

  If this does not resolve the problem, then I would recommend contact the Support from Adobe.

  I have problems with the latest update of Adobe Flash Player to release 11. I'm on a Mac (10.6.8) the 64-bit kernel. For the moment, I installed Flash Player 11, every website with Flashcontent crashes. This also happens in Chrome, not just Safari or Firefox. I did everything what Adobe offers as possible solutions. Do with the uninstaller uninstall, then install it fresh. I got a glance of the folder Plugins from the Internet to make sure that all got deleted properly. But the new facility will not work.

  What works is to uninstall Flash Player 11 and reinstall Flash Player 10.3. Then, everything works like a charm. Well well... except in Chrome, of course.

  As a last piece of information: I never had all versions beta or alpha of the installed drive.

  Can someone help me please? Someone else this problem?

  Thank you very much, Alex, to provide the fonts for me. I'm not on the Flash team, but am in the development of Type, so my interest for fonts and my experience that 'unknown' policies can be malformed. I use a MacBook Pro 17-inch Mac OS x 10.6.8. I installed the fonts in my ~/Library/Fonts folder, and Flash block now on a regular basis. A screenshot of what I feel chrome is attached. So, if you simply remove the KozGo*.ttf files (use ' % rm ~ / Library/Fonts/KozGo*.ttf ' to remove them), the problem may disappear.

  Let's be very clear.  Open source Chromium project is not Google Chrome.  They are similar, but not the same thing.

  Chrome bundle no Flash Player.  Google Chrome made.

  You can install the standalone version of Flash Player PPAPI for chrome, but there is a bug in chrome that prevents detect PPAPI Flash Player system (it is probably fixed in daily builds for now), then you will need to launch chrome from the command line using the right command line parameters.   If you're just trying to browse the web and do not explore the features of the experimental browser, you are probably better off with the release of generally available Chrome.

  Thank you for your response. I use Real Player Downloader to download videos. It is very easy to use, so I want to keep it. I still think that there is something to do with the Flash Player and Firefox. I guess that I just have to fix the problem. Only the side bar where advertising crashes as I've shown in the picture above.

  Low sound on YouTube videos has been me bothering a lot because I watch many short videos posted on Facebook on dogs and could not hear them at all. I've never seen the slider in the volume on these videos only the cursor for on / Mute. The problem was solved by removing all the 'data and Site Settings ".

  Google was planning to depreciate the NPAPI plugin for quite some time. According to this post chrome Blog: The Final Countdown for NPAPI NPAPI plugins will be disabled by default in April 2015.  This post contains instructions on disabling default plugin for substitution.  If you have the latest version of Chrome (42) it's probably why you don't see it there.   Firefox crashes if you try to open the context menu on the Flash Player in Windows 8.1.  This is a known issue.  We don't know for the moment if it's our bug or Mozilla.  The bug is assigned to a developer of inquiry within the time of Flash Player 16.  Firefox is to kill the Flash process, which causes the plugin dialog box crashed to display, but it's really a blockage, and the player ends safely.

  In the meantime, you'll need to use Chrome or Internet Explorer as a workaround.
