Flash Player Crash on Mozilla Firefox 32.0.3

Good afternoon! Everything came back a week + holiday and found that Flash Player now refuses to work on my installation of Firefox, even after Firefox and Flash updates. Here are the relevant details:

Operating system: Windows 7 SP1

Browser: Mozilla Firefox 32.0.3

Flash Player Version: 15.0.0.152

Repro steps: run any page that requires Flash - the browser crashes and I get the windows two following popup:

"Adobe Flash Player 15.0 r0 has stopped working" (popup Windows) - options are to check online + close the program or simply close the program

a popup of specific Firefox saying that the Shockwave Flash plugin is not responding

Please let me know if you need further details to diagnose - thank you in advance for your help!

Check-upgrade to the latest version of Flash Player (15.0.0.189) solves this problem.

I am quite unable to ever watch a video in Firefox that requires the plugin Adobe Flashplayer. In fact, IF I activate the plugin, Firefox goes into a mode "not responding", which never ends. I AM, after anywhere from 15 to 40 minutes get a message that responded to the questionnaire of script to quit, but no matter how I answer, another gel (or the same) happens, and after a long wait, I get a message saying. What is happening so many times I let him to run more than 12 hours, then checked to find messages of stacked windows. When I cleared the last of the 20 + windows at the end of 12 hours, I immediately had an another freeze. The only solution so far has been to kill Firefox, in the Task Manager or the "red X and kill him now rather than wait ' options. Then, when the computer reboots, I quickly get the Add-ons page and re - disable Adobe.
The version of Firefox that I use is 35.0.1
The version of Adobe, I am running is Shockwave Flash 16.0.0.305.
Within 20 hours, I ran several hunters malware (malware bytes, security of systems Microsoft, AVG, AVAST, Spybot S & D and others I don't remember now) with several problems found and cured. None, however, corrected it.
My computer is an ACER Aspire 5732Z, running Windows 7, 64-bit. This problem cropped or less about 2 months ago. I wonder if it is related to the latest version of Shockwave and possibly occurred after only an automatic (n) updated.

Have you tried to uninstall and reinstall? If you have tried, have you tried giving up alttogether flash and HTML5 rather use? It is not supported at all sites, but HTML5 is much better than flash.

Have you tried contacting Adobe? This probably isn't a problem with firefox and unfortunately, even if he * is *,.

If Windows object to save the changes because of permissions, try this way:

    (1) in a window of my computer or Windows Explorer, open this folder:

    C:\Windows\SysWOW64\Macromed\Flash

If this folder does not exist, then you are using 32-bit Windows, and you can open the following folder instead:

    C:\Windows\System32\Macromed\Flash

(Note: this folder exists on Windows 32-bit and 64-bit, but on 64-bit Windows Firefox use the Flash player in the place SysWOW64 folder.)

    (2) check a file named mms.cfg:

    (A) If mms.cfg exists, drag it in your Documents folder , where you can change it without being bothered on administrator privileges

    (B) If there is no such thing as mms.cfg open your Documents folder, right click > new > text file and the name of the new file mms.cfg

    (3) mms.cfg Documents opened in a text editor such as Notepad. Add this on its own line (I have the latter):

    ProtectedMode=0

Save the file and close Notepad.

    (4) press and hold the Ctrl and the mms.cfg file reglisser to the Flash folder to make a copy, keep the original documents

This change should take effect the next time you restart Firefox (allow a few minutes for all the Flash of the processes in memory to terminate right out of Firefox).

It is the latest version.  I used the uninstall tool and did a reinstall of fees. I did not remove all directories of the old layout, so that could be the next, but I feel like I'm grabbing at straws here.

Installation of firefox is also the last version.  I'm on Windows 7 x 64. Dual Xeons.

I see the flash control panel says (32-bit), which seems odd.

I read where he said to try disabling hardware acceleration, but I don't have such a setting in my PC, and I can't get the flash player to work long enough to use the old settings panel.

Can someone give me some steps to isolate the problem?

Thanks for the comments.  I'll close this thread, especially because it is long and impossible to follow.  I'm marking this correct message, just to get to the top of the first page for new people to come through it in their research.

If, after upgrading to Firefox 40 * and * Flash Player 18, you are still having problems, please start a new thread for your individual accident.  It's so much easier to give advice in this way.

Do not hesitate to talk to me to get my attention (type the at sign, followed by my name and it will appear in AutoComplete).  Please provide a couple new crash ID as we do in this thread, because they have all the details of the platform as well as the signatures of crash and call stacks.

Thanks again for your efforts and your comments here.

  • Flash Player crashing after upgrade FF 15

Just updated to 15 FF and Flash Player crashes any time I load a page containing a Flash object. I use Flash 11.4 r402 on Windows 7 32 bit. I tried safe mode and has nothing to solve the problem. Any help is appreciated.

OK it seems the best temporary solution to this problem (until they release a new version of flash) is to uninstall Adobe Flash Player and then download an old version of Adobe Flash Player (11.2 worked for me - don't use 11.3 because he has problems too).

  • Why do I have problems with my Adobe Flash Player crashing constantly on some games on Facebook?

I play a lot of games on Facebook. I started to have a problem with my "flash player crashing..." I uninstalled all Adobe products and their reinstalled nothing doesn't. It seems to happen more when I use the Zynga Games. I don't understand why this is the case and certainly do not know what to do about it. Of course, I'd be grateful for any help you can give me!

Some Flash games may take longer to load, so you need to increase the time-out on the protection of the accident. See Adobe Flash plugin has crashed - avoid that it happen.

    Hello

    1. which is the browser that you use to play games?

    2. is the specific question of the Facebook games?

Answer us with more information to help you.

If you use Internet Explorer to play games, go through these suggestions and check with the question.

Except Java & Flash Player modules disable all add-ons installed in Internet Explorer and select the game. If you are able to play games then use the Manage Add-ons in Internet Explorer to individually disable each add-on to determine which add-on causes errors.

See this link for how to manage add-ons:

See also: the problems of games online using Internet Explorer: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2528246

If the problem is with the games on Facebook, you can communicate with them and check. Consult the following link: http://www.facebook.com/help

    I hope this helps!

  • Shockwave Flash Player crashes

Used FF exclusively for years. Installed new FF recently, started by a script message does not respond, what led to the crash of Adobe Shockwave Flash Player message ever time I try to do anything. Tried to install the latest version, in fact, crashed during installation! Tried resetting FF, in addition to breaking. It became problematic for all work at all. I have noticed that a lot of people with this problem have talked about switching to chrome, may have to do the same.

I said several times that Flash was f ' n ridiculous to work with Firefox and most of the questions on this support site are due to this piece of crap Flash. Mozilla is building an alternative for Flash called Shumway. It is not available for daily use but is available in the night compilation very early (not enabled by default)

It seems that Flash is already at the latest version, right?

    Try turning off hardware acceleration.

    1. Go to the Adobe Flash Player help page.
    2. Right-click on the Flash Player logo on this page.
    3. Click settings on the shortcut menu. The Adobe Flash Player settings screen opens.
    4. Click the icon in the lower left of the Adobe Flash Player settings window to open the display panel.

    5. Remove the enable hardware accelerationcheck box.
    6. Click close to close the Adobe Flash Player settings window.
    7. Restart Firefox.

Firefox crashes if you try to open the context menu on the Flash Player in Windows 8.1.  This is a known issue.  We don't know for the moment if it's our bug or Mozilla.  The bug is assigned to a developer of inquiry within the time of Flash Player 16.  Firefox is to kill the Flash process, which causes the plugin dialog box crashed to display, but it's really a blockage, and the player ends safely.

In the meantime, you'll need to use Chrome or Internet Explorer as a workaround.
