Flash Player installs fine, but does not work in firefox
Adobe flash player doesn't seem to work on my firefox. I try to watch anything that uses the flash and he suggests that install it. I have re-installed flash and shockwave flash as well as firefox about 5 times now. nothing works. It seems to work on Google chrome, but I want to continue to use firefox.
Searching the Internet has failed me, and I can't find all the topics with solutions.
I hope someone here can help or at least point me in the right direction.
I had the same problem you had for a long time until I found this forum Vincent. Little by little, I've collected some clues and I hope not too late to share my research with you. Heres how I fixed thanks to Carl E. Myers, who gave me the answers to identify the problem.
The way in which I discovered that the problem is when I saw the control/flashplayer Panel noted Carl E, the Flash ActiveX and plugin are not installed as 32 bits in which I will explain later. From what you post, it's very likely your problem as well.
so here's how to solve this problem:
http://www.Adobe.com/support/flashplayer/downloads.html
1. on this page, you will see
Download Windows Flash Player (for IE) 11.2 ActiveX control content debugger (EXE, 3.93 MB)
Download and installation
2. the same page, you will see
Download the Windows Flash Player 11.2 Plugin (for Netscape compatible browsers) content debugger
That should do it. Why?
Flash from Adobe installed as a 64-bit installation!
Your computer is a 64-bit, like mine, so that's why ie and firefox are not picking up our installation of Adobe Flash, because Adobe Flash automatically installs on windows system you are running. It's a big problem we users of 64-bit because some applications are NOT 64 bit but more so compatible (if necessary). For example, Mozilla Waterfox is a 64-bit application that is built to our windows and you would see that the flash would work without problem because flash has been installed as a 64-bit. In addition, IE64bit, another proof that should be able to achieve as well, but not to be confused with IE as it is a 32-bit application.
Plugins and activex controls you have installed are manual installation 32 bit and that you now understand why it will now work for firefox, ie and other browsers 32 bits that needed it. Apples to apples now.
PS even if which should fix, I highly recommend using Waterfox instead of Firefox because it is surprisingly fast and way better live for your windows.

Help download Flash Player 10? None does not work?
Hello world
I hope someone can help me, because I go crazy about it. So I try to download flash player 10. It is said that I downloaded successfully, but I get no animation, and on youtube, it tells me that I need the latest version of the flash player.
I'm under IE 8, my OS is Windows XP with service pack 2.
I don't know what I'm doing wrong. I tried the suggestions I have read here, and I don't know how to start IE in safe mode. I copied the instructions on start, run, iexplore - extoff and that did not work. When I did, I have the bar at the top of the screen, saying that I had to manage my Add ons, and he never gave me an option to allow it to install.
I tried going through the Control Panel, uninstall all of my adobe products (reader, flash player, shockwave), and then reinstall them, and it does not work.
If someone could help me please, I would really appreciate it! As a reminder, I get the message saying I have version 10, 22 and something else, I don't remember more than this, but no video animation. It says it's successful, but there is no video to prove it. Sites Web tell me that I don't have. I don't mean to sound really stupid or whatever it is, I don't know how to get it, and I really want to!
Please, please, someone help! I'm desperate! Thank you very much!!
Try the following
- Download uninstaller for Flash Player from http://www.adobe.com/go/tn_14157_fr
- Close all browser windows and start the program uninstaller
- reinstall Flash Player from http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/
If you use Internet Explorer and Flash Player will still not install, IE start try mode safe as follows and try to install it from there
Start-> Run-> type iexplore - extoff

I'm on a MAC and my password does not work, I reset my password and I can not even download Adobe Flash Player.
This password is presented by your operating system and is designed to prevent you from accidentally installing the software.
If it comes to your personal computer and you don't need a password to connect to the computer when it first starts, you can probably leave the password blank and click OK to go to this prompt. If it comes to your personal computer and your normal password does not work, make sure that CAPS LOCK SHIFT is off, and then type the password carefully.
If this is your work machine and he asks an administrator password, well, you will need to have a conversation with your computer friendly.
If you are still puzzled, you may need to reset the password on your Mac:

I uninstalled and reinstalled as an administrator. using windows 7 ultimate 64.
After that it says successful installation, it cannot find any version of flash on the adobe support page!Ah, I think it's your problem. You have 64-bit Windows, but you run 32-bit Firefox. If you install the 64-bit plugin, it will work only in 64-bit Firefox, not 32-bit. Have you installed the 32-bit flash I linked above? x 64 Firefox isn't officially supported by Mozilla again (there's a party there, but it is still in development), we recommend that you continue to use 32 bit Firefox and plugins until it is officially released.
So, if you download the link I gave, as long as you have x 86 Firefox (not one every night, you don't), it should work. The all x 64 and x 86 can be confusing with the plugins.

Adobe flash player download it but does not install correctly
Hi all
I downloaded the latest version of Adobe flash player. Otherwise my mac (version 10.9.2.) will not play videos etc on the internet.
I tried a lot of things. I followed everything and done Adobe guidelines so that I didn't have any version of Adobe flash player on my macbook more. After that I run a clean install of the latest Adobe flash player, but it always stops at 75%, saying: "unable to install".
I hope someone or adobe's fix for this problem. Maybe from time to adobe to update the latest version of flash player...
Best regards
Oscar
Please try the installer in offline mode:

I 35.01 FF and can't watch videos requiring flash, it installs ok (or seems as indicated in addons with correct version number) and is set to "always active" in the addons, and I set the permissions on some sites to 'always', but nothing helped. I have now returned to use IE, I would prefer to use FF, but this problem is driving me crazy.
Thanks in advanceDear john99 Further info, I disabled plugins RealPlayer and as you can imagine, they seem to interfere, I activated the flash stopped again, them off and flash now works. Thanks for you input it was greatly appreciated. I can now safely, go back to my beloved FF :)

Insert an E-mail link inserts, works in IE8, but does not work in Firefox
In DW5, insert a link email link, which works perfectly in IE8, but not in Firefox 3.518. Simply wrong anywhere when you click on it. Using Outlook 2007 for email. Any ideas?

You can see the page in question (or at least the code)?
And it could be many things. Outlook 2007 installation is the default mail client? Other programs recognize it on your computer without problem? Firefox has seen many updates since 3.5.18 (3.6-> 4.0). Have you tried later to make sure that this isn't a bug with this particular version that was fixed by Mozilla?

Cannot install itunes. It installs but when I clicked on it said has not been installed correctly. I uninstalled, reinstalled several times but does not work.
Trying to download iTunes again, but instead run the installer from its current location, try saving it to your hard drive and then run the configuration file.

Check your hard drive for errors:
Click Start
Type: CMD, according to the results, right-click CMD
Click on "Run as Administrator"
At the command prompt, type: chkdsk /f /r
When you restart your system, your computer will be scanned for errors and will try to correct them.

My partner loves Cityville and Frontierville. Recently she can't read them on his laptop. He keeps asking him to download flash player 10. It does not cure the problem. I can still play these games on main pc
As a general rule, it allows to uninstall completely all the previous versions of Flash Player before installing a new one. See the following articles:

I have an HTML page created with web expression 4. It contains only a wmv video. It works perfectly when it is called from a USB stick or SD card, but does not work when they are copied to the hard drive. The results are the same with IE and Firefox. It don't make no difference if I use Media Player V9 or V11. He has no control on the page Media Player. Video and html files are in the same directory. Here is the code snippet:
LIFT, DRAG, THRUST and GRAVITY
If I run it on a machine with Win 7 there is no problem.

USB ports, CD/DVD player, and Mike just does not work
So I'm pretty sure that these things are happening at the same time, although there are risks my trying to troubleshoot the USB ports have contributed to the failure of the microphone (internal and will not capture sound) and cd/dvd drive (not open). Perhaps? It is true that I know little about these kinds of things, but I'm much less following the indications which is what I did to try to tackle the problem of USB port, which was the first I noticed. I followed all the advice I could find online for troubleshooting when all usb ports do not respond. I used Device Manager to disable in its regular and safe mode. I also uninstalled them all in both modes (even if they reinstall until I'm able to restart). I unplugged and wait 5, 10, 15 min etc. There was a difficulty mentioned about watching the. Mine and INF files do not contain the mentioned error. I'm tempted to all my files backup and restore the computer to factory settings, especially now that the CD/DVD player and the micro does not work. This would solve the problem? If these things are related? Could even restore settings because I can't have in the cd/dvd drive? It's a dell inspiron 1721, and it crushed while you restart for almost a whole day just all the time I've began to notice all these malfunctions. I really appreciate any guidance!
Good so I solved all of these problems. I don't know what did the trick, but when I went back in the BIOS to re - activate the ports they have worked!
