Flash Player plug-in problem

I downloaded the latest version of the Flash player for my macbook (after I got my replaced hard drive) but Google Chrome does not recognize that I downloaded. When I go to chrome: plugins to enable flash does not even come into an option as a plug-in. I tried to restart and redownloading, but nothing else.

Chrome (if WIndows or Mac) uses its own plug-in of owner called "PepperFlash". Adobe wrote the base code, but Google it changes before points. Download the Flash Player for Mac does nothing to affect the Player plugin PepperFlash because it is contained in another place.

You need to update (or in some cases trash and reinstall) Chrome update the PepperFlash plug-in.

  • Cannot download adobe flash player plug-in in chrome

My PC OS is Windows 8.1, 64-bit and I use Google Chrome Version 39.0.2171.95 Mr.

Looking at the plug-ins, I have the PPAPI installed by he said out-of-process, and I don't have a NPAPI plugin to Adobe Flash Player. So I tried to download the plug-in, and it can even download on my computer, what's the problem? It has been causing a lot of pain when I am browsing on the internet and by train to work. Thank you.

    Hello erz206

Google is on Chrome depracating NPAPI plugins.  You can get more information about their strategy here deprecation NPAPI: developer - The chrome project guide.

The PPAPI plugin has been the plugin by default on Chrome for some time now, even if a NPAPI plugin both PPAPI are installed and activated, default Chrome settings for the PPAPI plugin.

I'm not able to reproduce the behavior you describe using Windows 7 with Chrome 39.0.2171.95 (latest Chrome for Windows).  I installed the plugin NPAPI, version 16 and it still shows enabled on my chrome://plugins list, however, the PPAPI is the plugin used by default, unless I turn it off.  Here is a screenshot of the plugins Flash Player installed on my system:

Sorry I don't know the version I have installed, but it would be about 7 or 8.

    Unfortunately they don't help me.

Initially I didn't know I had to release FF, so I tried again.

Downloaded the program, you leave FF and he ran.

When I run the .exe file, I get this:

    Failed to initialize.

    And that's all.

Missing file and it does not install.

I hope I'm not a fool of myself, but then again, it may be beneficial if I'm for love assistance of others.

I think you should try to uninstall the existing Flash Player, remove its registry entries and then try to install a new. In addition to the Adobe forums, display in a Windows forum could be useful concerning registry entries.

  • Flash Player color step problem

    Hi all!

Recently I ran into a very strange problem, which involes Flash Player (standalone) on my computer. I'll try to summarize the question, so you can easily get the image

    1. I started noticing the issue when I type 'Ctrl + Enter' to test a Flash movie and my color step (defined as 0x000000) appeared suddenly... completely white. Please note that he had been black all the time, just all of a sudden in white wihout do me anything!

    2. I'm sure my ActionScript has nothing to do with the color of the scene-> there must be no accidental errors caused by runtime scripts.

    3. my operating system: Windows 7, 32-bit with an average of system specification. In fact it worked Flash Professional CS5 for a long time with no problems at all

    4. my standalone Flash Player (FlashPlayer.exe): 10.3.183.7 (I think it's the latest version at time of writing)

    5. feeling curious about the case, I tried to open my Flash Professional CS4 (I install both CS4 and CS5 on my machine), create a new blank document, set the stage color to something other than white-> test with "Ctrl + Enter"-> that the result is that new white background! (at this time there I started to 'omg' in my mind...)

    6. I tried to Open a bit. SWF files on my machine that were created a long time ago. All with the same white background. I am sure that in the past, these files have background colors other than white.

    7. publishing of the Flash file in a HTML wrapper and displaying the HTML file-> scene color is displayed normally

    8. publication of the Flash file into an EXE file and opening this file EXE-> scene color is displayed normally

9 Hitting 'Ctrl + Enter' twice (i.e. test the movie to 'Simulate download')-> scene color normally appears when the file is finished loading

    10. I tried to clear the settings from Flash Professional user preferences (following the guide, Adobe), uninstall and reinstall my Flash Player (using the Adobe uninstaller program) but all in vain. The only thing left that I have not done is remove, and then reinstall Flash CS5, which takes a long time and I'm not happy to...

.. I guess that's the entire image so far. Anyone having the same problem / found a way to solve this problem?

Thank you very much for your time and help,

    Best regards

    Khang

  • Need to install Flash Player to help: problem of "Non-Current Release"!

I have been experiencing problems when trying to install Flash Player on my laptop that is running Windows 7.

Initially, Flash Player does not work as I understand that it is not supported on 64-bit Internet Explorer.

After you have installed 32-bit IE, arises the question of 'non-derniere version' and all the facilities has been abandoned by the application:

The below are the steps that I had no success.

    1. via the browser 32 bit, downloaded the program uninstall flash player and did the uninstall successfully.

    2 restarted the laptop.

    3. via 32-bit browser, downloaded the version of flash player http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer10.0.45.2.

    4. After downloading, it automatically made installation with the completion of 100%.

    5. the programme is to enable the flash player with a Web page saying that if the flash player does not work, I should see a video and Flash Player logo.

    6. before that something was displayed, an error message pops up to say I tried to install a noncurrent version and I had to go to the same Web page to download the latest version. Activation was then abandoned.

I tried several times but still encountered same problem and therefore cannot continue to use the flash player.

Need help to diagnose the problem and get Flash Player works on my laptop. Appreciate any help to make it work.

    Kind regards.

Hi roadster02, thanks for the comment. I posted some info on this thread, and this is the last I have.

  • Flash player buffering / streaming problem

Hi experts, I have a strange Flash question which relates to streaming and or buffering. I try to watch a live stream in MotoGP, however the flow works for anfew seconds, then stop for 5 minutes before leaving, then freezing...

I am running windows 7 32 bit and flash V11 and tried in chrome, ie and firefox and the connection is wired

My Internet connection is about 15 MB and ping test my connection that is classified as A

I have a Mac connected via wireless chrome running and video may well spread

I opened the Task Manager and saw network traffic and there is visible movement during the initial phase of a buffer that is relatively flat, but it soon fell to zero activity and the video stops

I also tried this at a friends with windows 7 and a typical profile of buffer of network connectivity and there was a clear set of traffic network, something missing from this machine.

I also tried to reinstall flash, my nvidia video card drivers and network drivers, increase the buffer of flash and disabled hardware acceleration, disables MS security essentials, firewall, dropbox, av, etc.

I missed something I'm almost ready to reinstall!

    Thanks in advance.

Screenshot when frozen - notice no buffering is underway: http://i481.Photobucket.com/albums/rr179/bigduke6_bucket/motogpstream.jpg

    Screenshot when you play------buffering @ 300 Kbps: http://i481.Photobucket.com/albums/rr179/bigduke6_bucket/motogpstream300kBps.jpg

I guess my question is when the video freezes, why the data also downloads gel?

It looks like a network problem between your system and the site of MotoGP.  Have you had similar problems with other video streaming sites?

I don't think that the two ActionScript errors are related, if this can be interesting to see if the windows system 7 your friend also encounter these errors.

  • Problem with flash player?

Ive installed the flash, compatible player everything, as indicated in the other forum announcements and directions. Every Web site I'll still claims that I need to update my flash player. My system is windows 7 do not know if there are 64 or 32-bit. Ive tried the uninstall and reinstall and everything else I can think of. Any help would be appreciated.

My laptop Windows 8 (has not sat since Wednesday) ran an update to Flash Player (IE) this morning, so I guess there's a maybe last week. I use this laptop very well (I hate Windows 8) for updates are infrequent. I have a desktop computer that I keep updated three times a week and he "always up to date, but it is IE10, because I refuse to install IE11.»

Gaetan leprince in Redmond really did a number on their last "offering". The DELIBERATELY screwed up "channels for User-Agent" to make it harder (if possible at all) for Web sites to identify it. Some sites see "Gecko Webkit' (Firefox) and the rest may not know what it is about. Here's the problem with this... The pages may not recognize the browser, so they don't recognize any of the plugins like Flash Player. So far, Microsoft has made NO indication they have any plan to address it quickly, because they think it's a good idea.

Recommendation from Microsoft is to use compatibility view for the relevant pages and "pretend" you are using a different browser. Problem with that is it has been a success limited at best, and you will need to activate individually for EACH page that has problems.

I'm not big on "pretend" so I recommend you to use another browser.

    Firefox (from Mozilla)

    Opera (from opera)

    Safari (from Apple)

    Chrome (from Google)

NO one who will work where IE11 won't, with the Flash Player plug-in (for all other browsers), and Chrome doesn't have same because it has its own plugin Flash Player built in.
